I have the idea up and going just need to get the app and other details in it
**warning for those who want to read the books stop reading here it contains spoilers. This is an AU idea.
The last pass ended two hundred years ago. Thread was not due for another four hundred years at a shorter pass. Most dragon riders for the last two hundred years have expanded to other careers. Some, along with the average person, were exploring the mental talents that people had started to emerge in the middle of the last pass. There have even been attempts to breed green dragons with bronzes or browns to little success to have more dragons for those who have the talents. Many people have been taking advantage of the AIVAS computer and moved into the south. Dragonriders claiming the parts that only dragons can get to.
About five years ago dragons started producing clutches of larger sizes like it had been recorded before a pass. This time the signs were not lost as the queens rose to mate more often. The only thing that was after checking the early warning systems around the planet showed no signs of what was coming. The red star was in its frozen orbit furthest from Rukbart (the sun) as it could be. At least that was what they had learned from AIVAS. It was not until one of the early warning satellites was taken out by a meteor. It was a meteor shower but it was not a normal one. This one had come in contact with the red star bringing with it Thread. No one was prepared. They were caught off guard since they had not really been training for thread unless they lived in weyrs of the north. And from what they could tell there was more coming.

@Xephyra it's amazing and it is being made into a cartoon and it does not have to be 100% like it
I have a half-formed idea or two about making a modern Greek/Roman myth rp centered around a few of the couples or any of the characters. Set someplace like Athens, New York or Mount Olympus, Indiana or something like that. It could also have it set in ancient times for humans and a modern realistic setting for the gods. Gods have to pass as normal humans that sort of thing until they are in the underworld or Mount Olympus. Hell would even be all for an adult version of Percy Jackson. As stated it is not fully formed. Here are some plot ideas or points...
Hades and Persephone - I love the idea that he is not all to blame in this. I like things like Lore A Olympus or something like the quote HERE. I would love to start this relationship from the start and go from there. I would love to see this a slow burn thing since she is trying to remain loyal to her mother and he wants to respect her wishes because he is sort of with someone else. I personally would love to play him.
Persephone and Ares - Think this could be interesting since Persephone had a thing with Ares before she meets Hades. It was nothing major and it was before he met or hooked up with Aphrodite. It could just be a fun relationship.
Aphrodite and Ares - The forbidden relationship since Aphrodite is married to Hephaestus.
Hephaestus and Aphrodite - They are married but it is not a happy one.
These are not fully thought out. I have more but did not want to overload people. I have been reading too much mythology lately, reading Lore A Olympus and listening to Hadestown. I need some help here.
