In Depth Appearance: Aurora is a beautiful girl and that is quite obvious. Makeup or no makeup. What stands out the most about her appearance are those beautiful light green eyes that have a somewhat grayish tone to them. Her eyes are slanted and don't pop open wide unless she's smiling brightly but that's part of her charm. She has extremely rosy lips and a nose that seems almost too perfect. Her hair is light brown and has a sun kissed look going on. Light and slick but with a few darker parts here and there from the sun. She stands at 5'8 and is pretty light for her age at 121 lbs. Her wardrobe is full of designer clothing that her parents expect her to wear and she does so. However, she isn't a fan of skirts. Aurora usually wears pastel colors and maybe a little bit of heel but she isn't really a fan.

There are 2 ways that people usually know Aurora. But they know of her. Anyone that is anyone has heard her name through the hall. One way is her money because wealth is a power booster and everyone knows that. The second way is her so called shitty attitude. Are they right? Well, they aren't exactly wrong. Aurora isn't really a nice girl. She grew up a princess and when she says that, she means it literally. Aurora has always been the girl that judges people based on what she's heard at first because that's just so easy to do. I mean, why bother learning about them when you already have your information? At least, at first.
Aurora can't seem to get first impressions right. Maybe it's the fake smile that looks like it should be on a barbie doll or the faraway look she'll have that makes it seem like she isn't interested. Or maybe it's just that the words that come out of her mind can be rude and at times even cruel. You won't see her good times if you meet her one time. Well, you'd see a completely different personality if you have anything to do with her parents income but that's different. That's business. She usually hates meeting new people. Especially if they're a royal. She judges people based on their attitude and their aura. Surprisingly, she can stand sweet people because they have a puppy dog 'protect me' vibe that she just falls in love with. But even if she likes you, it'll be pretty hard to see it at first. Aurora has problems with showing her true feelings. She always puts on this act that isn't really an act and scares people off.
Some would expect her to be friends with strictly royals but you're very wrong. Aurora hates them. She finds that their very presence is annoying. That's why her friends are usually the people that you'd expect to go unnoticed. Expect to be ignored. Because those are the people that she finds interesting. Aurora doesn't want to be around anyone that would remind her of herself. Even if one of the royals is nice, they're rich. That is something that she cannot stand. Even if they're nice, it's still unbearable. You know, she used to be strawberry shortcake sweet. But that changed and now she can't stand people that are rich and have that sweetness to them. Of course, she can befriend them but there wouldn't be much, if any effort on her part and she sees no benefit in them doing so.
Seeing the world as Aurora does would be a dark and devastating experience. On the outside, it looks like she has it all together. Like she's that girl that people sometimes even dream of being. But they're wrong. Her mindset is pretty pessimistic. That masochistic side of hers always drives her to the edge. Striving for things that she never even has any confidence in from the beginning. That's Aurora. Aurora's the girl that wants everything to be perfect but she knows it isn't. So she wraps herself inside of a thick layer of denial and keeps herself safe inside of that shell.
She needs compliments to survive. That's a reason that sweet, bubbly types are her friends. As well as clingy people. They provide love that she loves to receive and can give back. However, she also likes people that are quiet. Probably because of her masochistic side that just wonders what type of person they are. That feeling that she gets when they're there for her. Aurora tries extremely hard to not bother people with her emotions but at times, she just breaks. And during those times, she needs a shoulder to cry on that will support her. Her heart's weak and she is surprisingly sensitive. She can get through a lot because she already knows that she sets herself up for criticism when she is rude to those around her but she just can't help it. Even her friends. She wants to keep the ones she loves but at times, she can be rude to even them. Her blunt and sarcastic manner doesn't help this case. At all.
When it comes to romance or love, she's at a loss. Honestly, she doesn't get the difference between love and lust and honestly doesn't care. They both seem scary so she'd rather just leave it alone. If anyone were to fall for Aurora, it wouldn't be good. She just doesn't believe that she deserves anyone good so she might just fall for someone that may treat her bad. It comes with her daddy issues. Aurora somehow feeds off of the hatred she gets from others. She feeds off of it and doesn't understand how corrupt it makes herself. That's Aurora. She breaks herself and she won't notice until perhaps it's too late. But that's why she relies on those few friends that she makes. And Aurora has a lot of trust for people that are her friends. Too much in fact. She can easily be deceived and even with her somewhat princess vibe, she can be tricked into doing their dirty work if they're slick. She's gullible when it comes to love. Platonic or otherwise.
Aurora goes to far lengths for a friend. She seems rough at first but soon you'll get that she can be extremely loyal and sweet to her friends. Even if she at times can offend them because of her nature. Aurora can't stand friends looking down on themselves even though she does it pretty much always. She has a strong feeling of wanting her friends to feel perfect but it's hard to do so. However, she won't stand for anyone talking them down. Ever. Aurora goes to pretty far lengths for her friends.
While she's a lost cause with lost cause with love, she isn't a lost cause when it involves book smarts. She isn't really trying to get it out there but Aurora's intelligence is superb. Some seem to have the thought that she looks like an airhead but they are very, very wrong. Aurora has natural smarts and on top of that, she's studied a lot and is on top of her studies. However, her parents would honestly rather have her focus on her modeling career than worry about "such things" because apparently, they aren't as important.

╚═══════════════.♥.═╝History: Anna Hidgens gave birth to Aurora on a lovely autumn day, October 18. Was it a surprise? Indeed it was. Especially with the fact that she had no idea who the father was even though she was married. Her mother convinced Froulen, her father, that it was his but it really wasn't. It might have been the guy that she worked with before. Or maybe it was the guy she met in Las Vegan on her "business trip." But if so, you know what they say. What happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas.
Her mother works as a prominent actor while her father is the owner of many Hidgen hotels as well as a few famous cafes. The places are all called Hidgens. Extremely simple name but it didn't matter with all the money they had coming in. Her father wasn't that great of one. Aurora tried her hardest to please him but it didn't really get her anywhere. Her mom was always off on trips and when she was home, her dad wasn't. And she was in her room with a guy in her bed that made her reek of cougar-ness. But don't you worry. If she asked for it, whatever she wanted was sent right her way. A car at 13? Sure. A new motorcycle? Why not. $500 to go to the mall? Who cares. Who cares was right because no one really seemed to. But well. People called her lucky everyday. She got whatever she wanted so it was fine. Right?
As she got older, her dad started to finally get that she wasn't his kid. This child that he had somewhat raised wasn't even his and that pissed him off. Her parents started coming home a bit more often just to end with the slams of doors as they began to argue. Her mom went out a lot more often and her dad drank quite a bit. The night she wrecked her motorcycle was a bad one. He snapped like a lunatic, glasses being thrown and soon, he hit her. He hit her hard. Probably. Something was wrong. She couldn't feel it. She couldn't feel it so she was scared. Why couldn't she feel the pain? That was running through her mind. She could feel the pressure on her but not that sting. That night, the 13 year Aurora thought that she had become some sort of monster. Of course, she later figured out that she just had a rare case of congenital insensitivity to pain.
Her father was shocked that he had snapped like that and didn't talk to her for a week. The next week, her mom was back and the paparazzi followed behind her since she had just acted as a main role in a new movie that was a big hit and they wanted to see how she lived. The contrast of her parents when they are in front of others and not is honestly scary. They seem like completely different people to Aurora but then again, so does she. For a while they had to play perfect family. Going onto talk shows and the such with her family but most of the time, staying home and studying. The dissatisfaction that she got from not being able to receive the love that she wanted from her parents frustrated her. She wanted so much- needed so much love and she didn't understand why she couldn't just get that. But she soon gave up, putting the pieces together and coming to a conclusion that no one would love her but she could just love others.
Either way, this new year of high school was definitely going to put a toll on her.
