I see RedClaws and Trevor and the old Dragon hanging out be grumpy together, roll their eyes at every happy, joyful and energetic creature.
Jill, at first, didn't realise what Ricki was talking about as the for her more urgent matter of Ash had replaced any thoughts about Flarewolfs. When it dawned she smiled briefly. "Good, I'm glad."

She looked surprised down to her hand when Ricki grabbed it before she looked into the serious eyes of the girl.
Lost at words she stared for a few seconds before she looked away. She opened her mouth a couple of times, doubting wether or not she should open up to Ricki, wether or not she would allow the confidentially and familiarity with a crewmate or keep the distance and keep a strong image of a confident Captain that was on top of everything and could deal with everything thrown at her without any help.
With a sigh she glanced at Ricki. "I'll be fine, I promise. One day I'll manage something like this" she said, knowing she said as much as 'I'm not fine right now. She continued, "Magic is just so strange to me, I feel utterly useless confronted with it. Give me a horde of monsters or to the teeth armed advesaries and I'll lead everyone to victory. Let me up against something as strange as magic and I'm at loss. I don't know how to respond to that."

She would need to learn how to deal with it, she would at least have the knowledge so she could make the right decisions when presented with tough situations. One of the reasons she wanted Ash as her second in command was that they would know what to do but know they succumed to some weird magic themselves she was painfully aware of a void that needed to be dealt with.

Alans mouth dropped further and further as the list of food continued. "You are going to feed which army?" he asked, "How are we supposed to eat all of that?"

Gnol's grin widened with the increasing list. "Sounds absolutely delicious. I'll be round as a barrel if you cook like that every day," he said with a laugh. "I better start working out every day with you in the kitchen.

The green bird buzzing and landing on a branch made Marigold feel more at ease, birds wouldn't perch down in immediate danger. The only question was, how long would she be safe, what if the beast would win over the Ki-rin... she would need to get safety quickly, she needed to find Hunter.

Her head jerked up when she heared footsteps. Fearing it would be the Beast again she tried to gathered some strenght in her unwilling legs that were wobbly from the earlier sprint. She stumbled backwards when the Wolf landed in front of her and she opened her mouth to scream when she looked into the familiar eyes. "Echo?" she asked.
When the other Wolf slammed into a tree Marigold muffled a shriek. She recognised Hunter and a reliefed sigh came over her lips.
"Hunter," she said happily before tears welled up in her eyes and she started crying while her hands went through Hunters fur. "There was a beast...a leopard or something...at a lake closeby...it said Guardians and it muzzle was blood splotched.... It could have killed me if I didn't get help from someone in the lake...." she managed to say in between sobs. She had been afraid and now the adrenaline rush was subsiding and she was safe again she couldn't help herself, the tension just had been too much and she felt to inadequate to cope with situations like that.

The witch had done what? Anger started to boil into Hazels veins. "I'm part harpy." Hazel said through her teeth as she tried to keep her head clear. She couldn't let her focus down and go full harpy now. She was ready to track down that witch and see if she could find more evidence of malice so she could flag the hag. Although shredding the witch with her talons sounded like an awfully good idea.

"what's the curse breaker?" Hazel asked, this would be very valuable information if she would ever get in a likewise situation. She would probably have to let Keith know too, just in case, eventhough she didn't like depending on him.
Sarah shook her head top the questions about a river and lake. There were waterways on Rhando and a big lake in the centre but that wouldn't help now it wasn't near enough. Besides before she could tell about the location of their big lake the Ranger had already ordered the strageties and attacks. It was an impressive combo. Sarah shook herself up, she could stand there in awe or she could be useful herself too. Going over her options, there weren't many.

"Gira, come on out. Use confusion on any Spearow you can." The Girafarig looked at the bubble beam and Spearow behind it and started using confusion on Spearow trying to dodge the bubble beam.
Sarah shook her head, it was of little use going against a flock like that. If only they could dissipate the flock. Abra! what if Abra teleported Fearow away, would the Spearow brake up?

She waited till Rapier was in between attacks on Fearow before she let Abra get out, Abra sighed and lifted his head a bit. "Abra! Teleport to Fearow and teleport away from here. Return afterwards without Fearow. Can you do it?" Abra looked up and vanished. Reappearing on the Fearow it got hit by some bubbles from the bubble beam and pecks from Spearow. Moments later he dissappeared with the Fearow.
Now she hoped the Spearow would go search for Fearow or loose there focus. Worst case they would continue to attack but at least they would have a temporary relief of not having to deal with Fearow right now. Depending on how far Abra had gone it could return sooner than they would like.

He looked at Mareep and at the other trainer. "Come, let's find out if someone needs help! let's hurry!" he said as he dashed off.
he had run only for a short time, as he thought, when he abruptly halted as in the sky he suddenly saw a not so happy Fearow. "Uh oh..." Gabe said as the Fearow locked eyes with him. A cry emerged from the flying type and when it started to dive towards Gabe he called for Mareep to use Thunderbolt. Mareep, who usually was reluctant to attack flying type, jumped into action when she saw the treath Gabe was in and procused an as big as possbible thundershock.

Abra teleported away when Gabe ordered the attack and when Gabe saw the glimps of the psychic type he realised it could be Sarah who was in trouble. Eventhough Mareep had a type advantage, the Fearow could still be stronger. "Use Thunderwave!" he said, if the Fearow would be paralyzed they could go in the direction where he had seen the vague cloud-like shape of which he was now fairly sure it were the Spearow belonging to this Fearow.
With the big flying type at least temporary disabled he quickly ran off again without fearing an immediate threath from Fearow. He had to see if his sister was allright.

Duncan glanced at his horse. "Not very much," he admitted with slight apologetic tone in his voice. This horse had brought him this far and was coping as good as could be expected. But in truth this horse wasn't more than a quickly found replacement of his well trained, battle hardend destrier that had died in a dragon attack. He still missed the noble steed that once was his companion in his travels and tournaments. "If I didn't need this horse to travel I would leave it under someones care." Duncan reasured his horse again when it acted nervously again.

Gnol looked from Noble to Comet. "You need your dragons attitude." the Dwarf remarked amused. "Comet nailed it." It was unfortunate the forest didn't let them travel faster, but traveling in the open was too risky at this point. His horse whinnied shortly and Gnol patted him. "Yes, I know, there are probably wolves and bears and whatnot in the forest." Gnol wasn't worried, the group was large enough to scare off any predator within a mile.

Alan put his thumb up before he tried to find the best way to sit while dragonback riding. When he felt he was sitting as comfortable as he could he tuirned his attention to Ricky again. "How good are you at handiwork? Perhaps we can craft a makeshift saddle for Mercury when we camp later. We could perhaps grabs vines, twigs or whatever to make something perhaps?" he paused before he winked and grinned. "I have quite nimble fingers so I'm sure I can help you out there." Usually his nimble fingers helped him to some coins from other people pockets but he was sure he could help with making some kind of rope saddle or whatever.

RedClaws passed the messages on to Crreessa and she nodded.
Crreessa turned to Seb when he asked 'where are you'. "I'm right here silly," she responded. "Where else would I be? Geesh boy, that thinking earlier must really have hurt your brain badly." She shook her head. Just her luck, she had a passenger with mental issues.
Her eyes followed Damien and orian and when the marking glistend she bend a bit over to be closer to RedClaws ears. "That look so pretty, do you have glistening markings too?"
RedClaws nearly choked on air when she asked that. "I DO NOT GLISTEN!" Crreessa rolled her eyes. "Ok fine, drop the mood already." she paused as a mischievous glance entered her eyes. "It's just you would look so pretty in sparkly, glistening markings," she said
sweet-voiced.
"Female, I swear I'll drop you if you ever again put me and the words sparkling, glisening or any other synonims of the word in one sentence." Redclaws roared.

"You follow the group of the Dwarf, I'll follow the rest that flew off." the female shapeshifter said to her brother. She was the faster of the two afterall so it made more sense she'd track the dragons that flew off.
"Fine," the borther replied. "You better hurry." She left immediatly but couldn't resist slamming her tail against her brothers snout when she passed.
The male trotted out of sight of the group on horseback. He especially didn't want to get too close to the big old dragon or the smaller dust-speading dragon. No he had to track as inconspicuously as possibly. Good thing dragons have a distinct scent and the scent of a dwarf and two humans was easy enough to track too.
He was glad they managed to avoid the hermit all together when they noticed two groups departing.
When he came a bit closer he had to back away again as the skittish horse of the knight smelled him.
Another peak made the Dwarf's pony act up. He had to be more careful and increased the distance again. He wouldn't loose them if they were out of sight, he could smell their tracks.
I looked it up when you said it XD
"Solar beam?!" Sarah uttered surprised. A fire-type with solar beam, she had never heard of that before. She almost lost track of the conversation as she nearly losing herself in contemplation, she hardly heared squawking.
When the spearow and Fearow were brought to her attention Sarah blinked twice as she looked up. She swallowed down a curse. Where was her brother Gabe with his Mareep when you needed him.

"Besides Gira I have a grass, a bug and a sleeping psychic type. Oh and another grass type." Sarah sighed, making a mental note to try and get some more diversity to her team.
"Gira isn't strong enough to do anything against a flock of them." "And I'm not fast enough to outrun them if they are aggresive" she thought. She could ride Gira though if needed but she wouldn't leave the Ranger behind. "Gira I need your help." She glanced at Regan. "Where is Rapier, is your pokemon alright?"

Gabe walked next to Bakuto and was pointing out some interesting formations and sharing anekdotes about earlier escapades while still keeping an eye open for pokemon like Gible for the trainer.

He looked at the sky and saw in the distant something that looked like a moving cloud. "Be careful on the Rorie islands though, groups of pokemon can be dangerous. I've been pinned down by a group of spinarak once and you definitely never want to encouter an angry flock of spearow and fearow." He frowned. "If that are Spearow and they are circling in the rocky area here that usually doesn't look good."

He looked at Mareep and Mareep glanced back before she shook her head vigorously. "I'm not gonna zap some poor flying types!"
I vote for Rainy Ocean.

I opened each hider and looked at the pieces. When I opened Rainy Ocean my intial reaction was: wow!

The others were good, nice and cute but didn't stand out like Rainy Ocean and didn't have that wow-factor for me.

Well done everyone, looking forward to see more art in upcoming contests.
Same, I mean my own replies are always so timely >_<
Duncan would wish to join Trevor but probably feel obligated to stay with Noble
