"A tree of seemingly simple properties. It's fruit being the most significant. The hardened shell prevents most predators from eating it. In each tip, the fruit keeps it's seeds, cloaked in a red liquid.
When it falls, being ripe, the oldest tip drives itself into the floor. After it has been put in place, the rest of the fruit bursts open as it attracts insects and small rodents to carry it's parts away.
The dense forests can be miles apart. Though the tree only has one root, it is thick and strong."
