Been on this site for 6 years, but was on the previous version that crashed. Found this site in its original stage not long after the fall of Quizilla forums.

I am so sorry *hangs head* For whatever reason, I know it's a t but every time I look at Shertul's name I see Sherful. And I pictured like woods around the village/town and figured that's where they were
Uh not quite. Carlisle, Kaezira, Windleaf, Daewyn, and Sybil are all at the edge of town I think where the Fleshspinner had shown up, Sherful and Sophia I believe have gone cavorting off into the woods, and then I'm not entirely sure what's going on with Gellert, Lark, and Amber XD

It's up! And there's a character sheet there for you to use :D
In every corner of the world, and beyond, there are beings that are considered monsters either because of their powers or because of how they use their powers. In an attempt to control the balance of the universe created an alternate space- an alternate dimension, if you will- to contain these beings. Their magic is stripped, anything that isn't required for their survival, gone. They're given the bare minimum required for their survival but are afforded no luxuries. They are taught how to function in society without their abilities, they are given basic household chores, they are their own society, forced to stay in cooperation until the powers that placed them there decide they're adjusted enough or safe enough to be released. There are some that will never be released because of their inherently dangerous and destructive natures. The head of the prison is rarely seen but is a being who has proven themselves capable of handling any being that has been put into the realm. The guards are lesser or half-deities, beings strong and smart enough to handle whatever the inmates might try to throw at them or get by them. There is only one way in or out of the realm and both sides are guarded and warded to keep the ones who belong in and those who don't out. Only the most destructive, the most violent, and the most likely to throw the world, life itself, out of balance end up here.

You will be a prisoner in these halls. You will have time for interaction with others during your free time, during your corrective class times, during meals, and with your cellmates while locked in at night. Class attendance is mandatory- a.k.a you will get dragged there if you do not show up on time. Punishment typically is solitary confinement and whippings. Guards are known for being aggressive and beating prisoners, but it doesn't matter, there's no one here who has pity on the inmates. Can you survive your sentence?

Lol Wyn has that effect on people XD
I hate my work laptop. I went to hit post, and the way I slid my fingers on the trackpad, it went back a page and I thought I'd lost my post. I know it's not exceptionally long by any means, but I would never remember what I wrote T_T

Daewyn crossed his arms and Sybil walked over hearing the centaur talk, and Sybil tilted her head, actually intrigued by what she had to say. She looked at Daewyn, wondering what he had to say about the claim of gods and following the Nephilim. He'd made it clear to her a long time ago that he would never follow a side, though he had never said why. It was just his reaction towards those who tried to sway him towards one side of the other. The ones that he nearly killed for that reason.
"Careful, dear, you're going to hurt yourself talking so much," he said coolly, "But no. I've seen enough of both sides to convince neither are worth my efforts. I seek something more.... base than gods and religion. I'm after knowledge. Sure there are plenty of books and things to learn outside the Institute's walls, but what I seek lies there," before looking towards the Nephilim, "I realize I came off a certain way, but I couldn't retain my excitement at the chance of finding those halls finally. I don't seek it out like some basic library, the knowledge there is....too important to treat it as such. But there are things in this world that can only be explained by texts within the Institute. Plus, my comrade here seeks answers to her own mysteries. She cannot recall anything of who she was, and simple magic has not been able to correct the problem," he motioned to Sybil, who fidgeted a bit, not liking that knowledge being made public, "My uncle, Nero Zaheer, says he once had the pleasure of being within those halls- he himself follows your ways- and he said that there were records that might assist in that matter, as she was clearly a soldier at some point from her skill with a sword being almost natural to her, though he is too busy in his wandering ways to go there himself to look for those answers for us," he explained.
Sybil looked towards the Nephilim, holding the bottle in her hands a bit tighter. Something about them felt.... familiar to her, but she certainly couldn't place it, but she felt the need to speak, especially to the one she had mouthed off to, "I.... I wasn't necessarily... siding with the Fleshspinner, but... I don't feel like he should have had to die simply because of what he was. There was no provocation to fight from him, he wasn't threatening anyone," she said in a quieter voice than before, though she did not look away from them, "There is enough tension as there is, and these people don't need to be in the midst of when than tension snaps," she said, referring to the people of the village.
Daewyn looked at her, raising a brow at the latter statement she made. But he didn't comment aloud on it. He simply looked back to those they were talking to and wondered how they might take it. He wasn't lying about his uncle. Nero and Amera both had joined the Nephilim ranks, their skills with magic and in battle almost unparalleled- they both wielded nature as if it within itself was a sword. But he couldn't buy into the idea of joining sides. No side was perfect, each had their flaws in his opinion, and those flaws were enough to keep him at a distance. Their treatment of each other, regardless of if there was an actual fight going on, was proof of those flaws. They shamelessly brandished threats and swords in public arenas, not caring if people who weren't a part of their conflict got caught in the cross hairs. Whether the Nephilim were the "keepers of the law" or not, he did not care for their philosophy. He would support them more than the other, but we would never "Join" them. Sybil on the other hand did not particularly feel the need to swear allegiance to anything. There was plenty going on in the world than wondering which God was about to try and claim "justice" next. She also just felt like there was something already there, something she was trying to remember, but it was so far out of her reach it was almost migraine inducing trying to dig it out.

Right about that moment there came a hard knock on the door. The dragon on the other side didn't wait for someone to answer, opening it and her red eyes went straight to Emily, "It's the first day, and already I find myself having to track you down," she crossed her arms after she had closed the door, "I believe we made it clear that your little attention grabber isn't allowed," she said, referring to her shocking to get people to move, "How hard is it to be like the rest of the students stuck out there and just use your hands to push people out the way?" she shook her head, "Neither are good, but the latter would be preferred to you shocking them- there are some aquatic based folk here, you could kill them doing that," she growled a bit on that note, before she looked over at Eilidh, "Don't you follow her example, I need you to set one," she said simply, though a bit sternly, not having missed Emily's idea of all the "cool" spots.
She took another deep breath before facing Emily again, "This is your first strike. You're lucky you didn't actually hurt anyone or piss something bigger than you off. Don't start this year off by making people dislike you, Emily. The goal is to find you a way to get along in the world- even if you avoid human society and don't plan to mesh with them, learning how to interact with other people is essential," she said, "That means, in the simplest of terms to use your words and that brain that I know is up that head of yours, regardless of whether you decide to use it or not rather than just zapping everyone and demanding your way," she said, "You'll report to me after your first day of classes and I'll figure out what to do with you," she turned and started out of the room, "And I will find you if you try to skip out on me," she warned, "And you will not like what happens if I have to track you down," and with that, she went back out of the room.
I count three people as enough to move this puppy, cause I think there may be a fourth but I don't know if he still wants to play lol I'll post the link to the Ooc sometime today :)
