Bambietta's lack of self control truly didn't help the Ethereal's cause in limiting potential casualties in a world where anything could happen in a flash. At least the release of her anger was directed more toward inanimate, rotting buildings rather than the woman she was attempting to intimidate. The new issue would be Cyano's attempt to trash talk the duo with intimidation of her own, a tactic that the Ethereal found typical of a cocky human being. At least she spoke as if she had something special about her, adding a form of value to the alien's eyes, but it didn't prevent the silliness of the circumstance.
"Rather typical of humans. Despite being confronted to two entities in a world where the probability of encountering an apocalypse inducing being is equal to crossing paths with a sentient creature, you harness the confidence to express such will."
The alien overlord's raspy and echoing voice conveyed the absurdity of the idea it mused upon studying Cyano's position. Despite the rubble of the recent destruction, it approached the woman once more, closing the small gap of 30 meters more and more by the second. The alien was indeed taller than her, partially thanks to its levitating capabilities, which may help with the intimidation factor. It wouldn't stop until it got uncomfortably close, about five meters, from the abnormal woman.
"To then propose that any of us were to lower our guard in this world borders insanity. Especially in your case, Unknown One. In spite the possibility that the supposed human were to assist you, what would make you think there would be an equal match?"
The alien pointed toward Jetstream Sam as Bambietta indicated his position previously. The destruction of the building would have exposed him by now, and the Ethereal didn't seem to consider it a threat at all. Slowly retracting its arm into the red robe it wore at all times, the Ethereal would finally engage with what Cyano truly wanted from them.
"We, the Ethereal Ones and the Quincies, follow the Envisioning One. We all operate under The Dark Outliners. It would only be fair by your human standards that you grace us with the same information. Or more precisely, the origins of your technology."
It remained passive and cooperated without exposing any vital information. She wanted to know about them, there was no reason not to spread the word about their existence. After all, they would have to impose their presence sooner or later in this Multiverse field. For now, the Ethereal leader was to determine what this woman could represent since she was indeed a part of this Multiverse system now.
