Where did everyone go?
I've already put in my guess, which is a vampire. She shows a lot of signs (ones that I consider to be signs, anyway), and the blood-related stuff... that's debatable.

Daniel wasn't going to trust Marianne that easily, but it seems that there was no other option but to head through the door she had pointed out. He walked up to the door and opened it cautiously. There was most likely going to be some sort of danger, and it was best to be ready for it, at least as ready as can be. He peeked through the crack in the door, hoping to see whatever was inside before anything inside it saw him first.

Daniel took the vial back, grabbing it gently with his fire construct hand. He examined Alexandra for a few seconds, then decided it was safe enough. He gently placed Sasha on the ground sitting up, then brought the vial near her lips and said, "Alright, open up."
Press went over to where he had left his glove and cube, and put them on. He felt much better now that he had them back, as he felt quite uncomfortable without them. Now, however, he had to head over to the debriefing room. He contemplated whether or not he should get his armor equipped, then decided he could get it later. However, he pulled out a remote-like device out of his cube and pushed a button. In a few moments Horus appeared and landed on Press' arm, then climbed up to his shoulder. He gave Horus a pat on the head, then followed the others to the debriefing room.
Daniel was reluctant to let anyone try the mystery liquid, but he could find no flaw in Alexandra's words. With only a nod, he handed the vial over to Alexandra. If anything went wrong, was would be sure to retaliate against Marianne, but then again, he was still holding Sasha, so that might not be the best thing to do, at least not yet.
