Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

............. it's dead.
I thought heat made conducting electricity worse.
I'd post, but all Press is doing is standing on a rooftop watching for shit to fly.
People and double posts these days, eh?
Hah, "office" he says. I'm planning for some luxury areas, like saunas and pools and- wait, these are bad things for Daniel, who is all about fire. Hmm.... maybe I should have Daniel be a chef. :3
Daniel was slightly concerned about the mutants, especially when seeing the other heroes having quite some trouble, but hey, money was what called the S.U.P.E.D. to action. He spewed out the coffee he was drinking when $1,000,000 was mentioned. He coughed for a couple seconds, then managed to say, "In cash? Jeez, they must be getting desperate. I only got $175,000 from my last job." He reached into his jacket, taking out his headphones and putting them on. He then summoned a fireball to his right hand, his hair turning blonde and eyes turning blue instantly. "I'm not gonna pass up a million. Let's get to the action and burn them all up," Daniel said, smiling evilly.
Michelle sighed. This is one reason why she chose a ranged weapon, unlike her teammates who thought they'd look "cool" waving around what would be toothpicks and q-tips when facing large viruses. Michelle aimed and fired again, the shot landing on what Michelle thought was the head. It seemed to do a bit of damage, but then the virus got irritated and advanced toward Michelle's stack of shipping crates. She (probably wisely) chose to get up and jump off onto a nearby stack of wooden boxes before a tentacle swung downward at where Michelle was originally, denting the shipping crate on top.

Michelle crouched and readied her rifle for another shot, but then another tentacle destroyed the bottom of the stack of wooden crates. Needless to say, they toppled to the ground, having Michelle fall to the ground for the second time today. She flailed wildly, accidentally firing a shot that missed by a mile before falling on her side. Fortunately, her suit had pads that helped cushion falls, among other things. Winded, she took a second before getting up and running away, while a tentacle smashed the place where she was barely a second ago. She started to run, but then realized that during the fall she had dropped her sniper rifle..... right where the tentacle hit. She was in a predicament, since without her weapon she would be useless yet it was far too dangerous to retrieve it. The tentacle still lay there, trapping her weapon underneath it.

Distracted, she didn't notice another tentacle headed straight for her until it struck her full force, smacking her straight into a wall, creating an indent of her body onto it. She stuck there for a second before gravity pulled her to the ground, where she lay unconscious, blood slowly trickling out of her mouth for a couple seconds before stopping. She would be a mass of pain when she woke up, and there would most likely be broken bones.

Freya constantly bombarded Michelle with questions, making sure her deck was up to snuff. "You got 'Photon Sanctuary'?" Freya asked. "Check," Michelle replied. Questions like this went on for the entire bus ride. The duel with Gale yesterday, and even the one with Saze, made her think about her deck, and Michelle wondered how she could improve her deck. She had been considering many cards in her collection, but didn't know which ones to add and which to remove. Perhaps only Duels would tell. Speaking of Duels, it seemed that no one cared that Michelle won her exhibition duel yesterday, which was probably fortunate, but Michelle didn't notice. She started roaming the school as soon as she arrived.
Press was busy working on worksheets about various cards to help tribute summon. Needless to say, there were actually a lot of ways to do so, but with the help of his own minds and the internet, Press was almost done. Tokens, trap monsters, cards that special summoned themselves, etc, etc. Press used some of the methods here himself, so it was not too long before Press finished. Now all he needed to do was then it in. He headed off to the classroom where it was due, even though the work was actually due tomorrow. Then again, with it done early, that left time for other things.
