We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

Michelle smiled as they shook hands, although it was a bit forced as she was still was nervous and shy towards Kuhaku. She was glad the situation was resolved peacefully, but now she wanted nothing more than to be able to calm down and get her emotions in check. Unfortunately for her, that was proving to be impossible around Kuhaku, and she could barely maintain eye contact with him before looking down to avoid eye contact.

"I uh, I, I..." Michelle trailed off, unsure how to continue. "Ihavetogodosomethingbye," Michelle blurted out quickly before dashing away as quickly as she could, desperate to escape. When she was sure she lost them, she leaned against a wall and took deep breaths. It's OK, calm down now Michelle, it's over, just relax, Michelle thought as she performed the breathing techniques that helped slow down her heartbeat when she needed to make accurate shots. She slid down to the ground and adjusted the strap on her sniper rifle so she could hug it for comfort.
Conna'Cel entered the cargo bay as soon as it was accessible, but stopped upon reaching the force field. Conna'Cel took the time to examine it, and was able to determine that it was lethal even to him, although not entirely sure how it was lethal. Then the assassin appeared to greet him and the sniper boy. The transparent bath robe had no effect on him, and he waited for her to tell him where to go.

Then suddenly he said, "Warning: energy cells critically low. Main objective: locate a power source to recharge." The assassin was quick and immediately directed him to a power socket on a nearby wall. Listening to her, he said, "Acknowledged," and headed over to it. Upon reaching it, a panel opened on his back, revealing a plug that quickly unwinded. Conna'Cel grabbed it when it reached the ground, and the plug automatically adjusted to fit the socket. "Objective completed," Conna'Cel said, and now waited as he recharged.
Conna'Cel was apparently the first to arrive at the ship. It would undoubtedly have a source of power for him to recharge from, and he intended to reach it. As he neared the ship, it suddenly started firing, killing multiple zombies in the area. "Hostile action detected, proceed with caution." He then proceeded to slow down his pace, and stopped moving when he was close enough to be able to board the ship, waiting for the ship to open so he could enter.
Hmm.... I'm not entirely sure what I should create. I'll just reserve a spot here, and think of something later.
Right then, I'll get working on a post. Hopefully I can get it up within the next few hours.
When Michelle saw him relax, she relaxed as well. It was going to be fine after all, and there was no need for any violence. As she lowered her hands, he seemed to pause and stare at her. Michelle prayed that it was not what she thought it was, but then he leaned over to look under her hood. Crap, he noticed!, Michelle silently thought as she felt her face growing insanely warm, a small drop of sweat slowly growing on the side of her face. She turned away, embarrassed, but not before catching the look of concern on his face. "I-I'm fine, I'm perfectly fine," Michelle said, making an effort not to stutter.

Just calm down, Michelle, it's only a boy, Michelle silently thought, trying to calm herself down. Michelle made occasional quick glances at him, thinking about how well he looked and what a strong presence he had, then attempted to shut out those thoughts as they were definitely not helping her current situation, and were just helping to maintain her strong blush on her face. She longed for a tree to climb or something, just some way to get away from where she currently was. She cleared her throat, then turned back to the Tiger Faunus boy and said, "I-I'm Michelle," extending her hand, which was trembling slightly from nervousness.
Michelle raised an eyebrow as he explained why he was out here, and it seemed like Michelle was willing to put him in her good books. Then came the mention of her blushing and her being out of her comfort zone, which only made her blush even more. She diverted her gaze away from him, then realized that her hood was off and her cat ears were very visible. She quickly reached back and placed her hood back where it was on her head, which helped hide part of her blushing face, but not completely. His apology did not help matters much, and then he extended his hand and introduced himself to be Khalis. Michelle stared at his hand for a second and was about to reach out to shake his hand, but resisted the impulse and kept her hand in her cloak. "Michelle," she said in response, then turned away from Khalis and began to walk away. She decided that she needed to keep a better check on her emotions and not let people be able to trigger them so easily. That was much easier said than done, of course, but Michelle was determined to do it.

Then she saw the Tiger Faunus boy marching up to them, an angry expression on his face and his fists clenched. That was clearly not a good sign, and Michelle could quickly guess that Khalis was the one he was directing his anger at. Michelle quickly stood between them and raised her hands in front of her, palms outward as if to defend herself. "Woah woah, it's ok, t-there's no trouble here. He just came over t-t-to ap-pologize, t-that's all," Michelle explained, frustrated that she was stuttering. She had no love or pity for Khalis, but she was not going to let him get hurt if she could prevent it. And right now, she could definitely try to prevent it. She was still blushing fiercely, especially now that she was staring at the Tiger Faunus boy, but she hoped that her hood would help hide it well enough from him.
Just when Michelle finally thought she managed to calm down, she heard a voice saying, "How adorable." She quickly turned toward the source while backing away a bit, her eyes identifying the boy that had been growled at by the Faunus boy. He was staring at her, which probably meant that he saw her entire little episode, including her rocking. Turning red in embarrassment at the thought, she got up onto her feet, cleared her throat a bit, and asked, "What are you doing here?" while glaring at him and trying to look a little more dignified. Unbeknownst to her for now, her hood had fallen off when she was rocking, revealing her head, and more importantly, her cat ears, which were up from her current emotional status.
