Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

Michelle wasn't paying too much attention to the Duel, instead making some modifications to her deck. "What do you think, Freya? Would it be safe to add him?" Michelle asked while holding a card up for Freya to see.

"You know I'm not a big fan of him," Freya replied. "I get nervous when I see him. Still, if we're going up against the Koa'ki Meiru's..."

"Exactly. As much as I hate to think about how we use him, we might need his ability," Michelle said.

"Of course, you also know the risk of using him. He could easily turn on us instead," Freya pointed out.

"I know, but we might have to take that risk," Michelle said. "I'll do it, and add the necessary cards needed to use his powers to our advantage."

"I hope you know what you're doing," Freya said, worried as she watched the current Duel.
Michelle was watching the horde pound on the door, while also searching for something she could do to draw them away. As it turned out, she didn't need to do anything. A car alarm pierced the air, drawing the attention of the walkers and luring them away from the door. She turned toward the direction of the car alarm, her eyes landing on a truck with flashing headlights, which was quickly being swarmed with walkers. Michelle wasn't complaining about the new distraction, and now watched the horde get drawn toward it. She turned her attention back to the house, wondering if she should go help. She had to be cautious, though. Just because someone got robbed doesn't mean that that person was any friendlier than the thieves.
Oh well. If we're both on at the same time, I think I'll just let you do the work, just to avoid confusion. I'm just the Co-GM, after all.
Well Gisk got it now, no need for this to be here.
Oh please, if a sniper rifle's recoil was that strong, then her arms would shatter. I know that much about guns to realize that. Plus, Ruby's sniper rifle didn't stop her descent and she fired 3 times.
And I see absolutely no change for me, so I don't have to worry about it. I think.
Michelle looked over the edge of the cliff, examining the forest below her. It was beautiful, although the growling she could hear ruined the sight a bit. She returned her attention to the Headmaster, who then explained how the test was going to work and how the pairings would work. That certainly surprised Michelle, but it wouldn't really affect how she would act. All she had to do was hope she found a suitable partner.

Then she was launched into the air. Instantly her senses were alert, looking for potential landing spots. She kept her sniper rifle Artemis aimed at the ground, waiting for the right moment. When she was close to the ground, she fired a bullet at the ground. Her sniper rifle had been set to fire her wind bullets, set to max intensity, so when the bullet hit the ground, it created a shockwave of wind that propelled her back up into the air. At the peak of the arc she was traveling in, she landed gently on a tree branch. She then crouched and looked around through her scope, looking for potential threats and partners.
Michelle was watching the girl when she looked like she was tiring. She was about to shoot the walker closest to her, but it looked like someone had beaten her to it. A crossbow bolt stuck out of the fallen walker's head, and the girl ran off in the direction the bolt came from. Michelle then sneaked downstairs, trying not to make too much noise. She always tried to make as little noise as possible when hunting, and she figured this was no different.

Moving to the back of the building, she stuck her head through the open door to check for any walkers. Fortunately, they all seemed to have been attracted by the noise, so her path was clear. She continued sneaking, making little noise, but also moving slowly. Now she looked around for a path to a rooftop or something, maybe a ladder.

Dice Roll for Michelle's Sharp skill: 11+2=13. Success! Stress pool: 1

Lucky for her, there was a ladder right next to her that led up to a rooftop. Slowly climbing it, she peeked over the edge, always cautious, checking for the walkers. It seemed like the only path up to the roof was the ladder she had just climbed, so there were no walkers in sight.

Michelle moved over to the edge of the rooftop and looked through her scope on her rifle, looking for something to spot. There was a house not too far away that was having its front door being surrounded by a horde of walkers. There were too many for her to shoot, and she wondered what she should do. Then she remembered the crossbow bolt, and she wondered if the shooter was still around.
You're in luck, I just woke up and was just reading through all of this. Just gotta read the ic now.
Hey is this still open? If so, I call dibs on a spot. If not, darn.
