Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

Hey Gisk, when a roll for luxury is made, what exactly is luxury? Is it things like binoculars and sunglasses?
Yes, the ooc.
I meant like on the first page so people can actually find info on the character they're interacting with.
Henzukaya, you might wanna put up a character list with links for each character sheet, or a link for a character sheet dump.
Jagred Dice Roll result: 9+1+2=12. Success!

Jagred managed to pull off another clean shot into the eye, killing the walker instantly. In the hall were several doors, 2 of which were closed. A walker walked out of an open door, but did not notice Jagred yet.

Charlotte Dice Roll result: 8+3+1=12. Success!
Charlotte landed a strong blow on the walker's head, smashing it between her bat and the wall. Blood trailed down the wall as the walker's head scraped along it and the body fell to the ground.
As Michelle scanned the area, she saw someone carving a line down a tree as the person reached the ground. She lowered her sniper rifle to look at him without the use of her scope, then lifted her sniper rifle back up again. She examined his appearance, trying to see whether or not he would make a good partner. His weapons were pistols, that much was obvious, but the way he used them interested her. There were some sort of ice bayonets on them, almost as if they appeared straight out of the barrels. As for his appearance.... Michelle didn't believe for a second that he wasn't some sort of hoodlum. Still, if he was to be her partner, then she supposed she could do worse.

Michelle leaped from branch to branch, getting closer to him in order to meet up with him. On the way, though, she was suddenly attacked by a somewhat larger-than-normal Nevermore, which had swooped down with its talons to strike at her face. Michelle parried it away, putting them both off balance for a second. Michelle clumsily landed on a branch as the bird flew around back to swoop down on her again. Unfortunately for the bird, its maneuver created a ridiculously easy shot for Michelle to land. Michelle flicked Artemis' setting to Lightning, then fired. One could actually hear the taser-like noise as the bird was electrocuted and fell to the ground. She lowered her sniper rifle and turned around, looking down at the boy who would be her partner. "Hi," she said in an amused tone.
Lee: Number of zombies in building: 11

As Lee looked through the window, there was a walker right on the other side, but fortunately for him, it was facing the other way. There would be another walker with it in the kitchen, as well as 4 walkers in the living room, one in the bathroom, and 2 in each of the two bedrooms. The two in the kitchen hadn't noticed Lee yet, so he had the initiative.
Lee Loot hidden roll: 7. Sharpness: 5+1=6. Failed!

Lee searched around the house, but could not find anything he deemed useful.
Just to make things a bit simpler, when looking for loot, I will roll to see how well it's hidden (1-20) and then roll to see if you can spot it (2 rolls of 1-6).

And in VP land, there is a penalty for finding loot.

EDIT: I have noticed that this seems a bit broken. Gisk, permission to change that 20 into a 12, or make some other change to make it a bit fair, or even explain how the loot system works?
And yes, I've already read the first post for the loot system. I was only talking about in terms of ammo.
Yeah, I was just trying to see if there would be a penalty for the chance of finding loot. After all, this is a place controlled by those VP guys.
