While others around Michelle were ecstatic about the upcoming tournament, she wasn't. At least, she wasn't as excited as the others were. Sure, rare cards were always something to get excited over, but the Dual Enrollment part was a bit of a downer for her. Her deck relied more on her ace monster Splendid Venus, and there just wasn't much Extra Deck support she could really use that supported it. Still, she supposed she could still have some fun in the tournament.

Press thought about which class he should Dual Enroll in if he placed in the top 3. Most likely he would go with Fusion. The Ancient Gears did have a very powerful Fusion Monster, after all. Still, it was only one monster, and the Ancient Gears weren't exactly known for Special Summoning. He decided he would give it more thought later. For now, he would focus on class, unlike some of his classmates who were excited about the upcoming tournament.

Conna'Cel ignored Rosaline, not recognizing "Mr. Roboto" as his name. As he scanned the area, he detected a pocket of... nothing. A vacuum of space where there should have been at least the various gases that make up air. "Error, vacuum detected, performing secondary scan," Conna'Cel said as he started trying to scan for anything that could explain the vacuum. As he did, he noted that it moved, and right past him too. The shape of the vacuum was also incredibly peculiar, as well as the movement of air around it. This set off some warning signals on his hud. "Warning, unknown entity detected. Activating continuous scan," Conna'Cel said, then as he did so, he was grabbed and thrown into the ground.

"Unknown entity marked as hostile," Conna'Cel said. "Minor damage detected, repair when possible." His titanium body was good for strong impacts, so he wasn't fazed by the sudden attack. "Calculating...." Conna'Cel said as he crunched the numbers he got from the creature and what it could do so far. "Battle mode engaged." His arms transformed into his energy blades, and even his wings appeared from the back of his body. He launched himself into the air as flames started appearing out of nowhere, then shot himself toward the invisible creature, using the shape of the vacuum he was getting from his continuous scan to locate the creature, and slashed at where Conna'Cel thought was the neck.

Michelle staggered a bit after being pushed by Lucy, not expecting her to do that at all. After regaining hopping backwards on one foot a few times and regaining her balance, Michelle looked at the duo with her right eyebrow raised. She placed her hands on her hips and listened as they talked.

Then Sten started talking to the others about the cause and effect of recent events, and Michelle sighed. "Well then, what are we still standing here for?" She asked Sten. "We obviously have things to do and people to see, so we might as well hop to it." She adjusted her glasses and continued, "We'll need all the information we can get. Who knows when something like this might happen again?"
