Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

Name: Daniel Day Dalton
Age: 18
Appearance: Looks quite dangerous, don't cha think?
Personality: Confident in his powers, and not the type of guy to back down from a fight. He doesn't really fight at full strength, though, until something tells him that he should. He often tries to play the uncaring and unhelpful act around others, but he's not the type to ignore a call for help. It may take a while to show, and it may often prove to be the opposite, but he can be a good guy to be with.
Brief Backstory: Nothing too special with his life. He originally chose the life of a delinquent when he was younger. He'd do some occasional shoplifting, lockpicking, etc. Still, his parents made an effort to raise him right, and having a policeman show Daniel around a prison certainly helped. He's since abandoned his former life as a delinquent and started doing things like studying and playing video games, the things you'd reasonably expect any teen to do. Still, old habits die hard, and can be a bit anti social at times.
Class: "Fire Master", those who have a strong affinity to fire even among fire users. Capable of wielding fire in a wide variety of ways. They rely on their fire to defeat their opponents quickly before an attack lands on them, otherwise they're toast.
Equipment: -Lockpicks, and a pretty good set too. Handy for those "just in case" scenarios.
-Headphones and music player, gotta have good music for doing stuff.
Powers: Flamethrower: As the name implies, Daniel shoots a stream of fire at a single target from the palm of his hand. Handy for burning things to a crisp, or cooking something.
-Heat Wave: a wave of fire is launched from both arms, burning everything in front of him.
Abilities: He's actually not a bad cook, but he doesn't really know many recipes.
Alexander had been playing his mandolin for a bit of spending money, and earned quite a bit from it. It wasn't much, but a lot better than nothing, especially since he could at least get food and drink. He had stopped for a while now to buy himself a nice meal and a glass of water. The meal was mediocre, but he would live to see the next day. He did not indulge in alcohol, though. He had learned long ago that he could not handle it, and was about to make a fool out of himself again.

After finishing his meal, he picked up his mandolin and was about to play it again when a woman stood up. He turned his head to look, as did many others, and the woman began to announce a quest of sorts. The Prison-Castle... King Haldric's tomb? Quite an infamous reputation it had. He had taken a look at it before, but never ventured inside. Some had lost interest, and some had even looked scared and pretended to not hear it, but others were taking an interest it. Already a dwarf was going up to her to ask for details. At any rate, it certainly sounded interesting to him. He sat down on a chair nearby, to the left of the woman, and pretended to tune his mandolin, listening in on the conversation.
Yeah I am, I'll just post some stuff up... Eventually.
Hmm... Sounds interesting, I'll stick around.
If you're going to put this in the casuals, make sure that you have proper grammar and punctuation when you post it. All these lower case letters, especially in the titles, will make people think that you spent little to no effort creating this and no one will join.
Well, I'm interested.
There's only three of us anyway.
Anyone still here?
This place is just a tad slow. It's still alive, we still got.... a number of rpers left in here.
Just when Conna'Cel thought he was done scanning, more changes appeared. He walked up the stairs and took some time to scan the staircase again to determine the changes, and found that it was merely an addition of paintings. The same painting that was above the staircase. There was also one painting that was different from the others.

Before he could examine what was so different about it, a warning sign appeared on its hud. He turned toward cause of the warning, down the staircase, and identified the demon that had attacked him with fire earlier. He pointed his left arm at the demon as it transformed into its minigun barrel, saying, "Hostile reidentified, engaging." A target reticle appeared on Conna'Cel's hud, locked on to Adrian, and began his assault, firing a barrage of laser bolts.
