Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

Medic - Siberia: New Umbrella Facility Medic winced at Meta-Ridley's angry tone, and the explosion that followed it. Oh dear, it seems like the soldiers did something they weren't supposed to do. Let's see, where did he go wrong in his experiments? Oh no! Only a few days ago he had performed operations on some of the soldiers that resulted in physical enhancements but caused their minds to be more like a brute's! Medic had not planned to stop their rampage, but perhaps it was possible that their mission could still be salvaged. Besides, if he didn't at least try, then he might lose Meta-Ridley as a willing test subject! Medic went over to the commander of the soldiers (Medic himself certainly wasn't the commander; after all, he was just a doctor) and told him that Meta-Ridley was quite displeased with how events turned out. That was enough for the commander to speak in his mic, "Everyone, cease fire! Cease fire!" The other soldiers slowly began to stop firing, but were still taking fire from the guards. The soldiers scrambled for whatever cover they could find. Medic grabbed a megaphone and started shouting, "Hold on, everyone, there's been a misunderstanding! Everyone stop shooting!" Hopefully the guards would stop firing and perhaps the situation could be defused.
Oh boy, Meta-Ridley is pissed. Better find a way to cover it up.
Maybe when I get home I'll join you guys. Just gotta download devpro and stuff. Assuming of course that more than 2 people can be in the same room.
I think this place is stone cold dead. You'd be better off creating a new interest check. I only found this back by chance, so..... yeah. I sure as heck am not coming back.
Alexander was never happier than when he got off the airplane. Who knew that he had airsickness? He never wanted to go through the long hours of nausea and dry heaving into a bag ever again. Well, it was over now, and that was something to be grateful for. Stretching his muscles, he grabbed his luggage from the luggage area and headed over to the exit. According to the instructions he was given, he would know where to go once he saw it. Huh, how vague. Oh well, he thought as he walked. Going out the exit, he scanned the area for where he should go. The group of limos outside certainly caught his attention, and the glowing green sign with his name on it was the clincher. He was heading over when something else caught his attention. He turned his head to see two other Duelists, one of which appeared to be challenging the other. For a second Alexander was tempted to let it go and watch them have a go, but then he decided that it was probably best to break it up and carry on. "Hey there! What's going on here?" Alexander shouted to them in a joyful tone, as if greeting old friends. He walked up to them and asked, "You two here for the tourney too?" Not waiting for an answer, he continued, "Great, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Save your strength when we actually face each other. Besides, the limos are here, and we need to get going. At the very least, put it off until we get there." --- Michelle was nervous. It was her first time doing such a thing. She was originally excited for the tournament, but now that excitement had worn off, and she was worried she might do something wrong, or worse, get lost. Getting her luggage, she headed for the exit and wondered where she needed to go. The limos with the green signs definitely gave a clue, and she headed over to them, looking at the seemingly emotionless and robotic drivers, then went into one of the limos. She had to admit, it was a lot better than she anticipated. She opened a compartment in a limo and was pleasantly surprised to see it was a fridge filled with food and drinks, a lot of which she liked. She opened another compartment and saw more snacks, as well as a remote control. Taking out the remote, she wondered what it was for, and she pushed the power button to see. A TV screen came down from the roof of the limo, and a selection of playbacks from previous tournaments came up. Well, this was much better than she anticipated.
Ehh ok. Might as well make my post anyway to try to dissuade your characters anyway.
Hey guys, you still going through that stuff? I was planning to have Alexander do something before the duel started, hopefully breaking it up until the official tournament. Because, you know, it's no fun if we know who has what deck before the actual things starts.
LokiLeo, this has been bugging me for a long time now, and I need to ask this... Where the hell is that signature pic from????
Sorry Earnest. With the characters I'm using, I'm pretty much forced to go "shoot first and ask questions later" if I'm to be true (enough) to their characters. And, admittedly, perhaps endless combat is not the best way to go in rp's. And, sadly, I'm the type to have characters that prefer violence over talking things through, so I apologize if all I do is create violence.
So wait, if I may butt in, Scarifar, you're playing Medic. Yes he's from TF2-verse and thus completely devoid of any sense of right and wrong and gleefully violent, but Medic is like the one guy along with the Spy who you'd expect to do things other than full frontal assault. I mean sure he'd gleefully let his test subjects/allies get into horrible firefights if it meant he could see how his experiments and creations stack up but still, he hardly seems the type to get a bunch of random mooks and lead an assault, more like he'd take interest in and hang around the Ork, the Wizard or Ridley to discern how they work and maybe use the first two as infinite test subjects and the like. Just my 2 cents on Medic, "shoot first and ask questions later" seems like it defines everyone in TF2 but him and Spy.
Hmm.... perhaps you have a point there. I will take this into account and see what I can do with it.
Hey Lucius, I just noticed something.... Did you change your images of food porn?
