We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

Daniel - Armory Daniel turned around to see Geni already leaping on desks to attack a fellow student. Daniel's first instinct was to grab a desk and throw it at Geni in order to make him stop. Before he could actually do that, however, someone managed to be quicker and stop Geni. Crisis averted, the flames on his arms went out and his hair turned back to normal. As he sat back down, though, he was then given the news that he would be getting detention. "WHAT???" Daniel exclaimed. "Come on, I'm not the one that drew his weapon outside of combat class!" Still, knowing it was futile to argue, he sat back down, arms folded in annoyance. To be fair, his interference certainly didn't help matters. Well, it was just one detention. It's not like it was the end of the world. Sighing, he wondered what was going on with his teammates. Probably something boring and actually related to schoolwork. That reminded him, he was here to learn. Right now, he hadn't gotten to learn anything yet, thanks to the ranting about terrorists and what-not. As the class was dismissed, he was only just a bit more annoyed now. He had been hoping to use this class to get some upgrades for his weapons, but it seems like the time would come later. Oh well. Next up was Survival. That may actually prove to be interesting.
Bolt was disappointed (1) that the hero had destroyed his precious kittens and he was annoyed. He then noticed that the hero was focused on the alien invaders and he rolled his (2) eyes, how hard was it to get someone's (3) attention, it was only aliens for Christ's sake! He decided that he would have to take down the aliens and attack the hero (4) as well get the arrogant asshole's full attention. He saw aliens attacking people on the ground and he flew at incredible speeds towards the invaders. Not caring about the (5) people he fired off a very powerful blast of electricity towards the alien creatures and it caused a powerful explosion which killed the aliens as well as several innocent people. Bolt then turned his sights on the ships and Press and flew towards them. He smiled when he came within thirty feet of the hero and the ships. "Hay asshat! Never turn your back on Bolt! Let's bring on the thunder!" he shouted and released an extremely powerful electric blast from his body (6) in the form of an explosion. It (7) blew away a few ships and caused them to fall from the sky and it was headed straight for Press and if it hit then the hero would sent flying and electrocuted badly.
I have bolded and numbered all the things wrong with your post, either grammatical, confusing, or just plain wrong. 1. Press did not destroy the kittens, the aliens did while trying to destroy Press. 2. There should be a period there instead of a comma. 3. Question mark should go there instead of a comma. 4. Minor thing, that should be "as well as". 5. Comma. 6. What's that supposed to mean? If what I interpret is true, then all Bolt did was create a single solitary explosion, with the initial blast appearing directly in front of him, rather than the huge wave of electricity I believe you were going for. 7. Multiple things here. First, I believe that the alien drop ships have forcefields and armor, so I doubt that even your lightning blast could have caused them to "fall from the sky" that easily. Most likely they'll be badly damaged at best, but probably not enough to destroy them outright. However, for the sake of argument, let's say it was possible to do what you had described. Having multiple ships destroyed in such a manner would most likely leave anyone our age pretty damn tired, trained by a shady organization or not. I mean, we are still adolescents. Also, that is one huge run-on sentence. There should not be so many "and's" there, and most should be replaced with commas.
Sigh~ Maybe I should use Dead Cruiser's Giovanna for one post just to help move things along in the client world... However, I fear that doing will result in me not being very accurate on Giovanna's actions and personality. Hmm...
The number of alien ground units seemed to be decreasing, which suited Press just fine. As he turned, he was greeted with the rather surprising sight of large electric kittens flying toward him. He quickly turned and started flying backwards while aiming his palms at the incoming threats. As he was about to fire, though, a large burst of laser fire shot down the kittens at the location where Press had been. If he hadn't moved, he most likely would have been shot down. Still, there was no time to think about that. The thief could wait; he needed to focus on the larger threats, the drop ships that had now decided to shoot at him with their weapons. Then he had an idea. He had no idea if it would work with alien tech, but it was definitely worth a try. He then shot upwards and backwards, towards the ocean, with the alien aircrafts in hot pursuit, firing bursts of powerful laser bolts at irregular intervals. He returned fire at them, only for his lasers to strike some sort of force field. Figures they would have defenses. Still, it was of little consequence. As they reached the water's edge, Press set his plan into action, turning off the drop ships' propulsion systems and forcing them to obey only his commands. This was made possible thanks to his ability to manipulate technology, and what he just did meant that the aliens inside could not get their ships to move the way they wanted, causing their ships to dive into the ocean by the forces of gravity. Press smirked, knowing what he just did was awesome, but felt the mental fatigue beginning to set in. What he had done was also not the easiest thing in the world, especially when dealing with multiple complex systems at once. There were other ships firing at other people, but Press figured that perhaps he could do something about that. Taking control of one ship's weapons systems, he turned them onto other alien ships, causing confusion among the aliens as they then began firing at each other. --- Meanwhile, Horus continued its directives, following the drop ship that it had been ordered to follow. Rivers had landed on it, but that did not deter Horus from following. Besides, it's not like anyone would notice Horus, as it's body was cloaked, causing its body to only be visible as a patch of light that seemed to be a bit off. Nothing that could be noticed unless you were expecting it.
Ehh the thing doesn't suit Megumi's style at all. She could still get it and sell it off to the Imperium and become a millionaire, though.
Well I'll just keep waiting for @JurassicHole to make his second post so I can reply and join the clustercrap for the Legend Relic.
Press had been taking a break, looking over his deck again for anything he might have missed. Satisfied, he placed his deck back into his Duel Disk and resumed looking for opponents to beat. He spotted someone eating some more of the breakfast foods provided and asked, "Hey, you up for a Duel?" Alexander turned his attention from his food to see Press asking him for a Duel. "Oh, the Cyborg Duelist," Alexander said after swallowing. "Later, I swear. This food's just too good." "I got time," Press responded. It was then that the announcement came in. "Those that can hear this are needed to be in the Throne Room in 2 hours. You are not to be late." Press stared at Alexander's Duel Disk, where the announcement came from, and eventually said, "Well, guess we'd better get going." Alexander, finishing off the last of the food on his plate, simply nodded. Together, they headed off towards the throne room for whatever reason it was that required their presence.
Press had noticed the amount of people getting abducted decreasing, which certainly made his job easier. Still, he was only one person, and he wasn't able to save everyone. There was one ship that seemed to be heading back to the mothership. Going behind a wall on a rooftop to avoid incoming fire, he was about to instruct Horus to follow it when there was an incoming distress signal from Horus. Another crime was being committed during this whole fiasco. Opening a small window in his visor, he saw someone riding away on a hoverboard, carrying a large bag filled with money. Obviously someone trying to take advantage of the confusion going on. Marking the perpetrator on his minimap, he instructed Horus to follow the ship he noticed earlier while in stealth mode, then flew back up into the sky and aimed his palm at the thief. Switching the setting on his laser and using his auto-aiming feature, he fired a continuous laser, attempting to hit the bag and burn its contents. Whether or not it succeeded, he stopped after the deed was done and turned his attention back to the matter at hand. The aliens on the ground were still shooting, either at him or something else. Constantly moving around to avoid the laser fire, although not always successfully, he pointed his palms down and returned fire, shooting multiple lasers that exploded on impact.
I have finally managed to finish editing my posts 1 and 2.
Ha I wish. Now shoo, I'm trying to come up with something serious.
