Bio

Role Play Preferences:[/b] Pretty much everything except playing other characters and most slice of life plots. Elastic on most shit.

Fandoms: Silent hill, Homestuck, Bioshock(1-2) and pretty much all of HP lovecraft's stuff.

Personality: Ambiguously ?????????????????.

Favorite Homestuck characters: In order: Eridan, Karkat, gamzee, John.

Hate kanaya and Jade.

My Homestuck class: Bard of Void

Likes: Scented Candles, Writing, RP'ing-in almost any form really. Even if I haven't tried it before- Pixel Art, Making things period, Dressing up in my mad mass. Talking to folks. <3 that understand what I say all the time without me having to tame my tongue.

Dislike: Political talk-light prods for opinions are fine though if private- Being tied down. Talking about myself too much. Playing party therapist, Edgy shit.

Pretty approachable, most of the time I'm all fine with, motherfucking. dancing down a door way to someone else grounds to chill. I tend to either be chilling or drilling the oil out of the works so random absence or silences are a normal.

I'm going to post soon. Excuse the dust, I've just been sleeping for the last millions years in my tomb with the occasional muttering.
I think I'm going to have to pass. My apologies, @ScreenAcne. Real life has attacked, and I'm in a number of rps already. Bbetween my lack of certainty on this one and wanting to make sure I have enough time for anything, I have to sit this out. Thank you anyhow for answering all my questions, and I hope you all have a wonderful adventure.

That's it. I'm going to have to send my elite team of shit posters after you. Sorry, Shy. You will be digitally dead via spam by dawn. *picks up dial phone*

Don't sweat it shy, you put forward some good input and your questions helped me reflect on what to do differential in the future when making a system and explaining it. Maybe we can talk some time OOC or RP in the future.
There's precious little on the builders, or at least what is known, and on the seven fallen empires of the Eastern Woes, not even a good sense for how long ago that was. While the concept itself still interests me, I'm not sure I'm a good fit for lore the way it has been presented, nor for a game with multiple pieces in different places.

I'm wondering what caused the decline of the world in general, since it certainly appears to have done so.

And my question about Manifests was more...hm. Can they cast any spell related to their element (at least potentially), or only the ones that an artifact in their possession is capable of casting? So is it them casting the spell and the artifact just negating the cost, or the artifact casting the spell and the manifest needing it in order to do so.

The actual fall of the Eastern woes was a long period, spanning 180 years. The builders didn't associate with the outside world a lot, their cities were always meant for themselves and they keep it that way in death. The only actual "builders" others meet were the road villages, so when they disappeared as far as the rest of the world was concerned. The builders had just evaporated. Those who try to get to their cities never arrive to them. The disappearance of the road villagers was a 30 progression.

The seven powers are dead, mostly. Their identity was erased with the forming of the Da Lou Dae. As far as any of this or the last 3 generations are concerned, that's who they all are. They're too proud too admit defeat, so they are the Da Lou Dae even if its ruin.

For the most part all the rules for mages apply to Manifest, except they are bound by: own element. A risk of death each spell. They can always cast level 1 spells even when they used up all their spells. Never runs out. Elemental artifacts are basically just spell boxes or spell scrolls but never run out. They are self powering and singular but only activate to a manifest of its element touch.

I sort of wanted to be vague about the lands for the most part. No one really knows a lot about them and there is no easy way for information to get about besides going there first hand but I understand what you mean.
@ScreenAcne We're counting spells, and Manifests require an artifact to cast magic -- so they can only cast the magic allowed by that artifact, in that specific form?

Manifest mages can only cast their own element. A normal manifest can use spells from an artifact but only if its artifact of their own element.

ops. repeated myself there. Sorry, tired.

the core here is. If something is related to your element, be it magic, an artifact or a skill. As a manifest of it, you can be sure to be attuned to it.

Quick role call: So, fellow Role Players. You have all shown interest but now that I struck the nail with the last update. Do any of you feel captivated enough by either by charm or my writing(especially my charm) to commit to this?

It's a big RP and I won't hold anything against you at all for feeling overwhelmed or even having doubts. You're free to walk away with no fear of judgement but not before we all get to mouth wave over PMs so I can have the chance to RP with you folks personally down the line some day.

Can't let the chance to go to waste while you're here.
It's alright, no big deal. Tiredness is natural as well.

Plot twist. Tiredness is not natural. It's actually a gene weakness planted by our secret alien masters so they can control everything easier while we sleep.
I feel like you guys are dying on me... That's okay. I'll work on my post.

Yeah, that's my fault. I did give Xikari very little to work on with my post. I just posted, I am pretty tired but I tired to make this one better.

Gin skinny frame remained unmoving before the kindness of the man before him, he had scowled so much thru the entire ordeal that it seemed to have fixed itself permanently as a feature on his face much like his nose or his sunken eyes, however it lifted a little out place when the man before him replied. At first what should be joy had gave way into a strange quizzical look. his eyes peeping at him as he lean his shoulder back to the side. His pose was one that was expecting an attack while thoroughly investigating his lack of further words "Are-" He couldn't finished though before the siren sound of fear before the clattering of bells in the distance.

Gin swirled around in order to inspect the distance it had come from, his eyes squinting for a moment before letting out a half apathetic "It's not a town fire" before turning back to his savoir only to be greeted by the protruding face of a furry creature that quickly scurried back into the serenity of his master clothes. He, too gave a flex of his nostril after the animal which immediately broke the sternness of his expression into a crumbled up brow in unsaid agreement as he looked around a bit to remember where he was "It might be the smell" he said in a manner that was obviously meant to be a joke but spoken with the innate bitterness of a threat.

At the first prospect of hiding Gin draw breath to argue "No. I have-" before becoming silent in the face of being offered to break more things than he already have "No. I must catch the true thief. He has wronged me" at some point half way thru he was talking to himself as the dutiful stranger had already scrambled with the spirit of a pilot at war time. Gin kept his twin pair of sink holes on the man as he scattered into the oblivion of horizon and then started to turn around to walk the opposite direction before stopping in his tracks. His nostrils flexed a couple of times, causing him to look at the pipe 3 feet away that was now making churning noises that would put vomiting plague victims to shame.

A guttural roar fumbles out its throat as the pipe sneezes out a rat into a left standing bucket for water "Forget it. I can't do anything worse to him than this place can" he says in a shameful as the rat clambered out of the water and into the alleyway. Turning to chase after phoenix in retreat of this town .

Gin had been tailing the man who had a clear head start, every time he'd see him he'd vanish into another tree or bush like the elves of old tales. Gin croaked out a request to slow down a couple of minutes or so but his voice was so aged that it was hard to tell him from a singing toad they had passed on occasion. When he finally caught up the image of the stranger practicing more magics was clear as he flipped out another card over something he couldn't spot and he wouldn't do so as his eyes immediately turned to the green pile of goo before him, luring him in slowly.

Then, more noticeably he saw the scattered limbs across the floor that had been haphazardly laid in the forest from what he can only assume to be a failed out door picnic for the local cemetery residents "...What the..." he let off with his face slanted in a confused glare as he knelt before the ruin of flesh. Picking one up while at the same time turning away from it in disgust.

"Your wounds are healed, miss, but you will still be in pain for quite some time."

Gin scan the scene before peering over his shoulder and shouting "Do you think you got a spell to recover missing body parts..." he asked before mumbling "Like, maybe a couple of torso and heads...What the hell happened here?"

@ScreenAcne You should probably post first? That way I can either include you (as having followed Pheonix) or not, and that way it doesn't seem awkward to have your post after mine, in which your character does whatever he does.

I'll finish my post after yours is up.

Good idea, Deadly. I'll try and post soon but I can't promise a swift delivery.
Sorry if I ruined your original idea! :(

yes. It's your fault I failed. I have no choice. I must now destroy your planet.

Don't sweat your iron out about it, it's fine. It's more just my mental fatigue than anything else.
