Pizza is a main course, but is also a pie. Therefore, I can eat pizza as my meal and have another pizza as my dessert.

When I need a left sock, there is none. When I don't need one, there is a surplus. I think the world is toying with me.

Bio

I am Searat
Half sea, Half rat, All Aqueous Rodent.

My role playing career is something i consider as a hobby of some sort but as to how long i have been role playing, I would say that i have three to four years under my belt. (Though most of the times I was role playing, they were nothing as serious as this and were more of a means to relieve stress with my friends or test out ideas that came to mind with them.)

As for my preferences to genres of role play, I would have no biases nor specific preferences to any genre and would be able to adapt to the genre as best I can when placed into it.

Some of my hobbies consist of: playing games, surfing the web, walking, bowling, darts, and cooking. I sometimes write and draw things but not as much to consider it to be a serious hobby.

The rodent writes down that if it were to try to speak, it would probably be dangerous. It writes down that the last time it attempted to even utter a word was years ago and that incedent led to numerous injuries...and even a couple of avoidable deaths. It pauses writing for a short moment. It then admits that it was probably for the best that it had forgotten how to speak anyway.

The rodent's features take a slight smile but it held no trace of joy nor satisfaction. It did not wish to forget how to speak but it was a necessary sacrifice to prevent any more mistakes like that.

The rodent nods obediently before taking the seat offered to him. It then takes the pen and begins to write that it was an adventurer of sorts but job offers ran dry when it was transformed into this state. It then explains that the purple slime woman had mentioned that you might have some leads or some jobs needing done.

After writing down its message, it manages to get a glance of the newer patron of the tavern it had seen earlier just in time to see the person curl into a defensive position. It quickly returns its gaze back to its own busines but even if it did not mean to cause the person to feel uncomfortable, it cannot help but feel responsible for the discomfort.

The rodent simply makes a gesture that it is incapable of speaking but then makes a gesture if you were able to have something i could write on. After performing the gestures it opts to look down at the floorboards as if they became the most interesting thing in the whole tavern. It does not do this action to purposefully insult or be rude to the man, it was simply a defense mechanism it had gained after realizing how intimidating this man is up close.

"You make a valid point. I'll head to the temple first and offer the wolf's skull." Tovo then quickly looks back to Bok "You are free to kill the wolf, just make sure that the skull is unharmed."

He then turns his head back to Taurl. "A raid against those pompous gibbons would be perfect. I'm sure the chief would agree that they crossed the line when they raided the fields and Olric could use some time out of that stuffy forge of his." Tovo pauses for a bit before speaking again. "How about Noel? You think Elder Kag would let him join us?"

Her entrance has not gone unnoticed by the bipedal rodent. From its position near the lone man smoking his pipe, it turns its head slightly to look at the new arrival. From what it could discern from this distance, the individual was a female under that long coat. Though it could not be too sure as it had met a number of individuals in the past that looked female but were actually male. The rodent keeps its distance from the stranger and opts to be cautious for now.
Name: Edra Forrestshield
Role: Shaman
Race: Goblin
Age : 22

Description:
Despite her advanced age, Edra still has the appearance of a goblin just approaching its 20th year. Her Olive green skin highlights her long white hair that she wraps around her neck like a scarf of sorts. She has dull light brown eyes that give a faint glow in the dark. She wears a simple loincloth and chest cover made of boar skin, though what catches the eye is her cloak made of bear fur and her expertly made rabbit skull necklace she wears with pride.

Skills:
Spell casting, conducting holy rituals, and adept in using her staff as both tool and weapon.

Items:
Edra owns the 5ft long staff that all her predecesors wielded and what her successor would wield. It is made of wood gathered from a sacred tree that aids her connection with the gods. The wood itself is extremely durable, flexible, and helps her cast magic slightly easier than normal.

Tovo looks to Taurl and nods. "It seems that you grow more skilled with your spear every passing day." He lets out a good-hearted chuckle. "and yes, we were about to go deeper in the village to tell the chief of this bountiful haul but Bok wanted to kill the wolf with his club. I did not want the wolf's skull to be damaged before we could offer it so I had to stop his attempt."

He then turns to look towards Bok rather apologetically. "Bok, I am sorry for stopping you but I promise that you can kill the wolf after we show it to the chief and the shaman. I only ask you to not use your club to do it."
@Stekkmen

"Bok! No! Not yet." Tovo says hurriedly as he lifts his free hand to stop his fellow goblin from attacking. He speaks again after seeing that he stoped Bok's attempt. "We have to bring the spoils back to the chief. Its been weeks since we got a haul this big and we ought to pay respects to the nature spirits and ancestors for this."
The two goblins sat on the branch for what they could assume to be, give or take, a couple hours since they were forced up that very tree by a lone wolf. Tovo still held his stick to his forehead, barely moving an inch within the two hours. While his companion simply sat beside him, returning the wolf at fault's glare with a glare of his own and hoping to the ancestors that they would be found by a large enough hunting group to fend off this wolf. He was so engrossed in his own thoughts that he failed to notice that Tovo had stood up, eyes gleaming with inspiration. He had just realized that Tovo stood only when he saw him step off the branch.

"The stick has spoken!" Tovo announced, voice swelling with joy, just before his rear collided square on the wolf's head. As the dust settled, it revealed the disoriented but happy goblin laying atop the large unconscious form of the wolf. The sudden force itself was more than enough to knock the wolf out, but the accompanying weight of the goblin made sure that the wolf would not be waking up anytime soon.

"Ancestors above, Tovo! Are you touched in the head?! What were you even thinking?!" His companion yelled at him with both concern and anger.

Tovo kissed his prized stick before he raised it up, still grasped firmly in his hand, and spoke. "The lucky stick told me that the wolf was looking at you the most and it was the perfect opportunity for a sneak attack, so I did!" He lets out a victorious laugh as he pats the unconscious wolf below him before sheathing the stick. "Now get down from there! The chief is going to be so proud of us when we bring this back to the village!"

His companion, due to the absurdity of it all or mental exhaustion or a combination of both, chose not to push the topic and made his way down to help his possibly insane companion carry the wolf back to the village.

The rodent feels grateful to the compassion it has received from the slime woman. It then looks around for the individuals she had mentioned to him. It spots Dorian, but opts not to disturb him while he is tending to the wounded wolf. The rodent then spots the lone man smoking a pipe and feels intimidated by him and is hesitant to approach but the thought of appearing ungrateful to such kindness and generosity outweighs the fear. The rodent shakes off the vestiges of fear it had felt and approaches the lone figure.
