Sato Hashimoto // Abandoned Warehouse

JUNE 13TH 2015. SATURDAY
Afterschool

It was a peaceful Saturday afternoon, class had ended not too long ago, and Sato had been out grocery shopping. Normally his mother did it, but she seemed tired, and Sato felt like getting some fresh air anyway, so he offered to grab what they needed. The sun was shining, the breeze was blowing, and Sato was doing great, even if a sense of melancholy persisted in the back of his mind. Something was missing, but what he had was enough. Or something like that. It was a hard feeling to place for Sato.

But, of course, it "was" a peaceful Saturday, until Sato received a text from Rui. Rui didn't really casually text to him, so upon seeing it was from him, Sato's mood died instantly. He could already guess what it was going to be, his suspicion confirmed upon reading the summoning to the warehouse. Sato ran back home as fast he could, ignoring the looks from strangers as he bolted through the thin crowd. Groceries could wait.

It didn't take long before he was standing in the abandoned warehouse, desperately panting for air. He'd been running from the moment he got the text until he got there. Kotori, Rui, and some others were already there. Another meeting meant another kidnapping, but who...? They didn't know the victim yet (at least, Sato didn't), and were basically going into this next dungeon blind. Or had they been blind the last time too? He shook his head, unable to figure it out in his panic.

Sato made sure he had everything he thought he'd need, double-checking to make sure he had all his arrows. His brow furrowed when he realized he'd forgotten to retrieve the ones from when they were fighting Ayano's shadow. There were still a half-dozen left though. If he fought like last time, he'd mostly be using his Persona anyway, so Sato simply shrugged it off and stood by the others. Regardless, they stood before Rui as they waited for anyone else to arrive, ready to be briefed on their next mission.

When he thought of it like that... it sounded pretty cool. It was serious, but cool.

I have no ideas for a slice of life post so here's some thing short thing I wrote that's too shitty to include in any actual post:

Sato frowned. Closing the fridge with his hip, he walked back over to the bowl sitting on the counter. He was missing a critical ingredients in the pancake recipe. This was the first time he’d made it, as per Rokurou’s request, and everything was already going downhill. Sato had already restarted from scratch after confusing the salt with the sugar, and again after dropping the bowl, and he never even got to the step where he put in the milk, but without milk… The boy let out a long groan, slinking to the ground. It was official. Cooking had killed Hashimoto Sato.

As if it was last night, Rokurou appeared from somewhere and stopped in front of the deceased boy. Sato didn’t bother moving until he heard the fridge open, which he turned to look at. From somewhere within the fridge, Rokurou pulled an almost-empty jug of milk out from the back. Sato immediately jumped to his feet. “Give me that milk, Rokurou! I need it for the pancakes.”

“No,” he simply replied, unscrewing the cap.

“I swear to God—“ Sato was practically shouting, but when Rokurou started to chug the rest of the milk, he was practically screeching. “ROKUROU NO!” Sato poised for action, memories of battles past rushing into his head. The muscle memory kicked in and he launched, lunging to grab the milk jug from Rokurou’s sinning hands. The taller boy simply dodged and help Sato back with a hand. Before Sato could launch another attack, Rokurou whipped the now empty jug away from his lips, milk streaks down his chin, and let out a gasp for air.

This killed the Sato, as he immediately collapsed back down to the ground after he realized what had happened. It was hopeless. The pancakes would never be completed, a failure. He was a failure. It was all over. The only thing that brought him back from the brink of death was the sound of Rokurou’s voice.
“There’s another jug in the fridge, dude.”

Anyways, here's an actual complaint from me for once: people who think it's okay to just stand wherever whenever. Like, if it's a busy place, please do not form a wall with your friends as you go down the mall. Please do not inconveniently stand right in front of the bathroom. Please do not stop in a one-person-wide corridor to talk to someone. It's not that hard to not obstruct everyone??

Not that I'm disagreeing with you at all but I need to ask about Traps yet again, I'm sure they don't fall into the bisexual choices? I mean are they transexuals? or just cross dressers? Ive struggled with this and many other things, does it make someone a trapsexual?

I think the "trap" status is independant from sexual orientation? It's probably just a form of cross dressing/transexuality (depending on whether they consider themselves male or female). If you like traps, I at least know your kink now.

I'm American so things are different here. Also Canada has some pretty f'd up laws and has one of the worst feminist cultures in the west

1. It took me a full 40 minutes to recollect myself after seeing that your response was essentially "that doesn't apply to me and your country's laws are weird anyway". Like... I was prepared for many things, but not that.

2. Since you want to talk specifically USA, here's something from the American Buraeu of Justice Statistics, stating that violent crime rates are almost equal, with males experiencing slightly more. My point regarding male homicide linking to male presence in organized crime remains unrefuted. All of my points remain unrefuted, actually.
