The OOC is up, at least!
Introduction
The Blue Moon Tavern is intended as a highly social Role Play that demands character/player involvement and originality. The purpose is to have as much fun as you can and to try and discern the secrets of the tavern, the world, and the course your character is headed. Is he truly as evil as he believed? Is she truly the innocent girl she was dreamed to be? Are they truly who they were? This Role Play brings together characters from all over the realm, the province, the continent, the world, and the multiverse. I truly encourage everyone to try and make an OC that can, with time, become as identifiable and wonderful like a family member. If they were to die, we would shed a tear. Should they succeed in a quest, we would cheer for them. If they were to turn to the path of evil, we would feel a heartbreak so deep that despair looms over us all. Originally, I was going to place this in the Advanced Roleplay forum, but I decided that it would be best if we started off simple since the beginning is simply that: simple. Nothing is complex, though it can be when given time. This RP is meant to be a living thing, always growing and ever expanding, with a heartbeat that comes from the energy and involvement of players. This RP is meant to be something relaxing, with the potential for excitement. I am hoping that this will catch everyone's attention and perhaps be provided with a few more ideas, some ingenuity to help make it something people would enjoy for a long, long time. Although, it'll end at some point, but that depends on the players and their actions. Perhaps it'll end when someone, anyone, or everyone manages to uncover the plot buried beneath existence of the Tavern and their own fates.
The Blue Moon Tavern
Long ago, Ranaamar was ravaged by a dark civilization known as the Dearmadta. A powerful empire that was corrupted by their supremacy and birth right had conquered the lesser races of the continent. However, they were at a constant state of war with the Shaarnathi, humanoid snake-folk who ruled the continent of Oo'bau, a forlorn place full of deserts and jungles; and with the dreaded Kuulhi, otherdimensional entities from beyond time and space, who ruled the continent of Shoba and the Great Glacier of Uldranor. The three ultimate powers fought fiercely, neither side giving sway, until a human under the tyranny of the Dearmadta led a rebellion, betraying the Dearmadta army in the process. His name was Walter Belnadez, a former general under the Dearmadta Emperor's personal army and handpicked for his unusual prowess in the ways of warfare. Leading a revolt with the other races, the Dearmadta army fractured and the Empire dissolved. Though such a victory brought upon the most horrible of consequence. The Sharnaathi and the Kuulhi swarmed the continent of Ranaamar with their own army of monsters and minions, bringing with them long forgotten magics. Raping and pillaging the land, destroying homesteads and slaughtering innocents, they fought one another fiercely without any further distractions between their rivalry. Walter Belnadez, however, did not deter from his path of peace and freedom, and continued to fight with the entire continent at his back. They fought back with the tenacity of wolves, defending their home from monstrous invaders. However, Walter Belnadez vanished from the midst of the battlefield. In the end, the races and remnants of the Dearmadta Empire drove back the invaders. Victorious, the lands were given to each of the great races. The Humans were gifted with Elrikur, a province of great beauty and the heartland of a new world. The Dearmadta, bloodsworn to forever remain from ruling the lands, were provided homes so long as they had remained scattered: a form of pardon for their last minute assistance. The other races thus ruled the other provinces, each selecting a leader. Centuries later, as the stains of war began to fade, there remained the creatures of the war; fossils to remind the races that peace and freedom will always be threatened. Thus, these creatures have been named "Remnants." To remedy this, mercenaries have been hired to slay the Remnants, though many die in this venture. It wasn't until a mysterious tavern appeared in Belheim did success in the slaying of the Remnants rise. It was called "The Blue Moon Tavern." Legends state that the tavern lures those with a strong, yet unwritten destiny to its doors. However, these legends have been laughable to most, but only those who are lost or searching for something greater, to show their greatness, have managed to pass through its doors.

Character Classifications
Character Classifications (CC) identify characters with their current use of power. When they rise above the rest, they grow stronger. Between A-Class and Lower S-Class, there is a significant gap in power. The gap continues to expand in the S-Classes, where someone in Upper S-Class has considerable more power over someone in Mid S-Class. These growths come from hardship. When a MAJOR storyline comes into play, it is automatically deemed (at least) an S-Rank mission; of what variety, it is unknown. Though it takes time, the results help even the playing field. The more experienced warriors can easily outclass someone lower ranking than them. This shows the difference between veterans and newbies.

~~The first introduction of the RP will have to wait!~~
speaking of the OOC, how is that coming along?
A pain in my GMly ass, honestly. I'm trying to hurry up and get the RP rolling with simple interaction while I create a few other things, so that the waiting and anticipation doesn't kill you guys. However, I'm always running back and fixing things and double checking certain things to make sure there isn't any redundancy... amongst other things. A complete pain.
Cool... just remove the history and PM it to me.
Sorry, I misread and assumed have your history secret was optional.
It's alright. It happens. I'll make sure I correct that in the OOC when I get it up.
Cool... just remove the history and PM it to me.
>o< Rephrase!~ How many people are interested... As in character sheets/applications, cause im not sure how many are actually joining and those who are not. Also whats the limit on the players in this roleplay?
Ah... I don't really have a limit and I'm unsure of how many are currently in it. I was going to do a head count when I eventually get the RP up. But if you're interested, feel free to post.
Mushi Mushi! Okay, I get working on it... any roles you want/need to be filled or simply lacking before i go on making my character?
If I remember correctly, we're short on male characters. Though you don't HAVE to, I think that's the only thing I would ask for. But, it's up to you if you want to be a male or female ^^

It is casual, I was just being a real tool. I jumped to conclusions about what you meant and got defensive, so I'm sorry. Please don't leave this on my accord, it was a misunderstanding that I created and doesn't reflect on Sessamaru's intentions or their RP.
Nevermind making a new character sheet, there is looking to be too many people joining this roleplay and I dislike roleplaying where there are many others that I am not familiar with.
@WilsonTurner Send me the CS you wanted to use earlier. And don't worry about the "too many" people part; this was intentional. It is healthy to be shown newer things as it helps expand your mind and introduces you to new ideas and new people.
Hey @Sessamaru have many apps you have right now?
Hrm?
I think I'd rather deal with Sessamaru and casual-level judgement, rather than advanced-level judgement where everything is taken as literally, denotatively as possible. When I think of a the relationship between dog and man, I don't think, "Oh well the dog wants food, water, and shelter and the man wants something to keep guard and help hunt," I think the more connotative meaning- "Man's best friend." The same relationship goes between giant and horse- giants are great big men, making a regular man look like a dwarf, and horses are more suited to their size than dogs- because most dogs would be smaller their their arms. Go look at your doorway- yes, the one in the room you're sitting in. Imagine a person tall enough to bump their chin into the bottom of the doorframe. Now imagine them only being able to enter by ducking their head and moving sideways because of muscle mass. Now, imagine them so heavy that the floors creaks painfully every time they step. When they get on the bed of your pickup, it doesn't drop slightly- it drops to nearly halfway, and the man's feet are large enough to have a big toe fit into your big cup you're drinking from. The man's biggest finger is the width of three spacebar keys, the smallest, two and a half. His scythe has a shaft that's wider than your forearm, and a blade longer than a longsword- and he wields it as you would a somewhat heavy nerf gun. Now imagine that man getting on a horse. Do you really think that horse would be wide enough to keep him on? And then, would the horse be strong enough to be able to walk with him there? Really, their footsteps would be up to two or three times farther than yours- every step you take, fast as you are, they gain because they have longer strides. Fierce and proud, not caring if their bulk gets them laughed at or feared. They'll fight amongst themselves and then they'll turn on outsiders, and drive them from their lands as a single unified force, then turn and fight once more. But since that is needing to have everything explained so thoroughly, so much like an advanced roleplay, I am going to pull it all back, and make a new character, in which I will explain everything to begin with as if it were an advanced roleplay. I find the kind of criticism- harsh, skeptical, or otherwise- that automatically assumes something and then continues on as if that were my entire meaning rather aggravating, especially having been banned from two websites because people wouldn't stop doing it to me, and I could do naught but slowly get angrier and angrier, to the point where it is my fault. So before your hackles raise and you start hissing in defense, I will remove Declan Horseman, since the concept I am trying to work with requires such complete and thorough detail, and go with something more cliche, because at least with cliche, one is more likely to understand what you're going with! I DO get this ruffled with this kind of thing. I just want to roleplay, and I think my app was pretty good. I didn't think that it would need a direct pointer saying that he is far too heavy to ride and that he may raise them as another may raise their purebreed dogs or breed certain types of dogs for different things. After all, the land of men brought great wealth from having a great stock of horses- beautiful, purebred, intelligent horses are quite looked-after by wealthier individuals, and mixed breeds could be used for different sport. In addition, armies might need lots of warhorses, and people will always need horses to pull a plow or cart. I didn't think it'd be so not-obvious that I'd need to actually say it- but there it is! Everything you need to know in a great wall of text! I thought this was to be casual, but nay. Agh! And if you are offended, this is my stress- I've been sick and my teachers at school are being stupid with their homework and crap taht I've missed. That, and personal/family issues
Whoa, whoa! I get that you're stressed and everything, but don't take this personally. Guilty Spark was just trying to help to make sure everything runs smoothly while I was busy with life. You're right, this is casual (and honestly, I was contemplating about making this an Advanced RP), but I think somewhere along the line, something got misconstrued. Send me a PM and I'll help you out with your character and everything, as well as help alleviate the level of stress that you have. I do apologize that things got so out of hand.
Vallyn followed Hotarubi to the guild, keeping himself within the thickest of shadows and moving swiftly with the lightest steps. He held himself back when he saw Hotarubi and Ziri conversing with one another, listening intently. Knowing full well they had nothing important to truly say to one another, both being as light-hearted as they were, he revealed himself by walking from the shadows and into the dim light of the guild. "A terrific display, Hotarubi," Vallyn spoke, his voice a deep baritone that sharply contrasted with his more feminine appearance. His tone seemed bored, if anything, and his eyes held their melancholic apathy, emphasizing his point. "A true thief would have been jealous of that raucous plan. Why, it would be better if we just hid under bridges and robbed every passerby of their last penny."
