<Snipped quote by Gentlemanvaultboy> Omg did he just call kat an ogre. She's so little though XDSess was called a dog boy. Dunno what you're talkin' about :P edit: Interesting Fact! Sessamaru's lineage would have made him a "red fox" were it not for the Sky Dearmadta geneology. (Thus is why he has long white hair instead of auburn)
Hey guys I'm really interested in joining up for this, but I might take a couple days to get my CS in since I want to read everyone else's characters and whatnot. So. Any idea when this is going to close? Also I am far too lazy to sift through 11 pages of this OOC as most of it seems to just be chatter. However if I'm wrong please inform me so I can go through for useful information. Thanks :DIt's not going to close anytime soon. Feel free to post a CS :P
hey @sessamaru, who's the proprietor of the tavern exactly? i was under the impression it'd be your character, sessamaru, but i realized that might not be the case. is it just an npc you haven't made yet?An NPC that I haven't posted up yet. Sess is just my primary character that I get to use to become a part of the RP like a normal player... kind of my escape from my GMly duties.
*cough* @Sessamaru, Is it just me or does this guy very nearly match a description of one of the characters?lol, depends on which character :P
It is a mechanic for exactly that purpose, and sometimes missions don't tend to go as planned. However, Karma is often rewarded through interaction with both PCs and NPCs, and depending on the outcome, Positive or Negative Karma will be rewarded. Completing missions is an easier way to accumulate Karma. Thus is why I need to get the info on the quest: so I can plan how much Karma it is worth.About Karma, wouldn't that be something you come up with after the end of a quest?Karma sounded more like a mechanic applied for every major action, but that's just what I read into it.
how about if you post a quest/npc, then someone else has to take the quest
The person that created the NPC would generally control them (not all the time of course, just for a brief period of time), unless someone wanted to reuse them (also for a brief period of time). Basically before the NPC is used (whether by the person that created it or by someone looking to borrow it) they would have to ask your permission first. And to prevent anyone from cheating with that, there could be a rule in place where your character can't interact with that NPC while you're controlling the NPC. That sound good? Basically c3p-0h said what I said, but simpler XDSounds good. However, I want you all to run the missions by me first, that way I can apply the proper amount of Karma and Rank towards it.
well we could have another version of a cs, something much shorter than our character cs. We would send this in along with the quest idea. Then maybe if the NPC was someone that could be multiple times, if another person has an idea, they could use that NPC. So basically, we couldn't use a NPC unless we have a quest or ask your permission first I guess?Hrm... the thing I worry about is: 1) Who's going to control the NPC. 2) How do I know it won't be abused by the same people who created it in order to boost their Karma and CC?
