Posted, a little backstory to Maxi. Also sorry for any grammatical errors or spelling errors, doing this from a tablet is a little more difficult then I had originally anticipated.

"Okay then I'll just cut to the chase," Maxi said leaning on the wall beside him. "Me and my friend need your help, I'm guessing you know it was me who put that message on the wall outside your coffee shop." As Maxi explained what he wanted king looked around, catching the visuals of a phone or a voice recorder Zeke was showing this random kid. He couldn't hear any audio but He watched until it was over, he would mention this to Maxi when they were done talking with this woman.

"We need your help to take down the reapers, they are out of control." Maxi said, a sudden seriousness in his voice, "at least Sasha mostly stayed in the Neon district." King piped in, Maxi nodded "we need some strong conduits' and while me and king can donalot by ourselves we aren't Cole McGrath level of badassary". Maxi took a sip of his drink, eagerly awaiting her response.

Looking at her sent a memory flying his way about Curden Day, it was his first week and some conduits decided it would be worth their time to take their anger out on the defenseless Max. Hitting him and throwing him around like a ragdoll. Maxi didn't put up much of a fight, he had lost all hope when his father reported him to the D.U.P. That's when she came along and somehow fought off the three attackers. He learned to be more careful after that day, they never really spoke or had anything to do with each other after Maxi had thanked her. Seeing her now was nice, knowing she didn't turn into an angry conduit.

Maxi had no luck finding anybody to help him and king fight the reapers, Maxi had enough and decided to have a drink and start when he had taken a little break. "King, come on lets take a break" Maxi poked him on the shoulder, King turned around quickly, his normally pale skim sporting a red mark in the shape of a hand print, Maxi started to laugh "shut up Maxi-pad" King smirked, Maxi chuckled and sat down at the bar.

Maxi stood up one that girl from Curden Cay walked onto the bar "I think we found us a new partner" Maxi chuckled finishing his drink. "Hey!"he called to her waving her over.
