• Name: Willow
• Title: Will of the Wisps
• Age: 18
• Emblem: A black stitched book of songs with a crimson heart on the cover.
• Devil Arm: Panopticon. A ethereal string instrument that can grow wider or smaller and add and remove strings to take the appearance of a violin, guitar, or a shamisen
• Magic: Once it was synthesia, a magic that emerged from the musician’s instruments that conjured familiars, visions, and other instruments to the rhythm of beautiful compositions. As her mental health declined, it increasingly became more vivid and more physical. Animal friends turning into twisted monsters that fight and act on the behalf of a twisted beat.
• Background: Willow tells a different story each time and never lets on to details other than those very close to her. Approached by a demon or an angel in a deep dream, she was told that she would become something spectacular, and if she did not the entire world would fall in ruin. Said world was just an illusion conjured in her head, and it was up to her to create the perfect music to save the souls of those listening and release them from their material woes. Increasingly this mission became more and more warped,

I'll make a character

Riku was terrified of ending up in the whale's possession, maybe a worse fate than remaining in this casino. Unfortunately, Katie seemed distracted with Akiko and Thomas had gone completely missing, likely absorbed in the casino and wearing a bunny suit of his own at this rate.

She'd do her best to hop her tail covered tush across her stage and try to get Katie's attention. Stomping heeled feet against the wooden stage to ring louder than her gagged moans could. With the way Kanbaru was looking at her, she felt her fate was sealed.

Akiko abandoning the team for her own insular reasons had done little to change the princess's predicament. She'd focus on alerting Katie, as anyone else would have their own prerogatives and likely not even attempt to free her.

When Katie returned, she expected this situation to have ended already, done and dealt with. It was to her surprise Thomas was nowhere in sight and Riku was still trapped on the stage. "Are you fucking kidding me," she growled to herself, immediately rushing towards the stage where onlookers and catcallers drunkenly jeered and bid for the bunny princess. Of course, none could have as much wealth as a Reinhardt and with bills flashed from Erika's courtesy, Katie instantly raised up the bidding.

The sounds of disappointment filled the area as none seemed to want to challenge the ridiculous quantities given.

Two guards grab the princess by her shoulders, escorting her to the new 'owner' who'd soon be thrown a bundled bunny that fell into her arms. Riku felt relief and had no more embarrassment to feel at this point. She'd rub her head up Katie's chest and fling drool everywhere as she desperately tried to thank her hero.

About time someone helped me! I thought you guys forgot about me! I'm sorry about the bunny suit, I won't do it again!

Katie sighed, Riku's weight landing against her chest. It took great effort not to push the bunny girl away from how she was drooling. There was annoyance, but more relief than anything else in Katie's form. "Let's get this off you...." Pendragon easily sliced through the girl's binds and wet gag even as the world shifted around them. The Tower was rest, the source of which Katie knew. It wouldn't be long before they finally returned to the Dangeki. Though Riku was still in her bunnysuit.

"Katie what the actual fuck happened in this stupid floor!? This was complete and total ass! A serious waste of time! Like really! We didn't even fight a monster, get treasure, or even learn something about ourselves! We just gambled and I got tied up by stupid bunny people for literally no reason! I was up there for hours, but it felt like days! And then Thomas just leaves me there, and you're flirting with Akiko all the time! And then that whale just looks at me like she's going to eat me! She's seriously weird! Like why do you hang around her that's so weird! And then after that we don't even get cash! Like...whoever Harley is this is literally the worst place in the entire Abyss...or universe. Or whatever it is! It's serio-"

Katie shoved the gag back in.

"Welcome, welcome one and all to these old halls. A majestic castle once long ago, now cursed and haunted...filled with the ravenous undead!"

A disembodied but familiar voice echoed out through the halls, reaching the ear of every magical girl involved in the castle. There's a flash of movement as something descended from the ceiling, clad in a long black cape with a red lining underneath. It's Valeria, dressed up as a vampire and sporting fake white fangs that hang out of the edges of her mouth.

She's upon Charlotte at once, her breath laced with beer as she nipped and bit on Charlotte's neck in a traditional vampire's embrace. She'd hiss in her ear and giggle before lurching back upward and waving an arm to the crowd.

"My first victim of the night! Muahaha! All this blad will go to my powers...and I shall become an unstop-oh nein forget this stupid accent blegh." Valeria pulled the fangs out from her mouth, rubbing her lips.

"Hey hey. There's food in the dining hall, I recruited the Academy staff to make a meal of just about any type of food or drink since I wasn't sure what people wanted."

Valeria would fall back into a seat next to Charlotte, kicking her boot clad feet up and hanging them up over the side of her seat.

"The teachers can hang out here, just to make sure you guys aren't sneaking booze in. Because that would be terrible. Especially since you haven't shared it with me."

Valeria chuckled, downing a glass bottle of Heniken in only a few steady gulps.

The experience with Roma left Valeria mentally exhausted. She'd give quick goodbyes and think over her actions while getting herself isolated from the faculty and student body. Great worry at what she might become filled her heart, and Roma's words had dug deeper under her skin than she cared to admit.

In these moments of doubt, Valeria yearned to busy herself with her hands. She could not sit idle and let these unpleasant thoughts assault her. She knew of the planned sleepover the students were arranging to take part in soon and decided they would need a space to do it.

I can be the big hero of the kinder I always wanted to be. I can prove Roma's words wrong and maybe earn another Ozma kiss. It's too tempting to ignore!

So, the work began. Valeria chose the spookiest location to fit for the soon to be Halloween setting. The old music room that hadn't been used for years and was doing little but collecting cobwebs and scaring the younger students was the first big step. Barging down the door with a construction hat on her head and one of her hands turned into a sledgehammer and the other a drill, it was time to excitedly get to work!

---

Valeria had really outdone herself this time. The classroom had been eradicated and rebuilt in its entirety. Instead of brick and mortar it is stone and cement that creates large round towers and massive walls that are neatly compact into a rectangular shape. From the outside of the academy, it appeared a small sized castle had just fallen in from the heavens and squashed one of the classrooms, replacing it. A large moat of ugly black slime instead of a river would mark the crossing from the school into the haunted castle proper. Across the drawbridge and into a splendid ornate hall with a long rolling red carpet and rich hanging chandeliers that appeared faded and ancient. Long windows with strange shadows behind them just out of view, towering empty knight statues that could come to life at any moment, and of course a few summoned bats to prowl around the place and make noise. Valeria had gone the extra mile and brought out her inner theme park tycoon player to bring out the classics.

For the girls, they'd all have bedrooms they could share or use alone. Each one came with a large bed and dresser, plenty of festive outfits to match the occasion from royalty to knightly warriors. Valeria expected they'd want to wear their own costumes instead, however. There was a large courtyard full of some plants Val had quickly yoinked from the Academy courtyard, she figured the Ministry wouldn't mind. Her most proud creation is the long twelve foot wide pool she had managed to place in the center of the castle's courtyard, right in the middle. There's as many jack-o-lanterns as she could cram around to provide lighting, and the moon reflected down into the pool like the spirit of Halloween looking on with approval.

"Vunderbah! This is perfect!" Valeria was covered in oil and dust, quickly rubbing her face with a rag to be less of a mess.

"Now I've just got to invite the others."

Soon the invitations are out for any interested and nearby magical girls to come over to the sleepover monster mash.

Unfortunately due to lack of outside interest and everyone being busy with other rps I'm deciding to cancel this rp for good. It's been a fun ride but it's time to put this away and move on.
That is a monster of a post.

It's 1930, and the light of the gilded age has faded. An age of excess and luxury has collapsed to a decade of poverty and despair. Faith in governments and economies across the world has fallen, and millions of lives are left lost in a maelstrom of economic turmoil, fanatic ideologies, and the heartbreak of a promised bright future turning into a nightmare. The promises of growth and wealth have come to naught, and now everyone must find a new place in this turbulent time or risk being swallowed by the waves of change.

That's the story on the surface, as everyday people understand it. Unknown to them there are hidden actors pulling the strings from underneath these waves. Ancient and powerful spirits and gods call from their retreats for a great new spiritual age as the light of Christianity wanes. The gods and goddesses of old demand to walk the earth again, and for their names to be on the lips of new followers. Some seek devotion, others blood and revenge. They poke and pull at the veil separating our reality from theirs. They cause loving husbands to murder their family, devout priests to curse their God, and committed killers to renounce their ways and devote themselves to new purposes. Monsters reappear in corners that humans dare to tread. New religious cults are arising, for Athena, Mars, Odin, Eris, Ra and other classical mythological figures. They claim to wield incredible magics and powers from their familiar gods, and are eager to show the world what they are capable of, both good or bad or inbetween. Existing religious orders in Christianity, Islam and Judaism reject these uprising revivalists as demons and lunatics. The chaos in the material world reflects the spiritual, or maybe it's the other way around.

The walls between worlds is crumbling, and anything can come into this reality.

You find yourself caught up in this storm and left with two choices. To either let yourself become a victim of circumstance and see how this wind will take you, or to dare to try and lead the charge and make a stake for yourself in this era of depression and violence. For some this is a nightmare, for others it's an opportunity.

New Haven is a fictional city set off the coast of California. It is considered the jewel of the west coast and a achievement creating a flourishing modern city out of what was once a set of grassy hills and untamed woodland. New Haven is on the cutting edge of society, technology and culture. A burgeoning film and radio industry, aeroplanes and automobiles and one of the hottest immigration spots in the world. It is also directly on the frontline of this spiritual and material cataclysm that's befallen civilization, as both the worst of the depression and religious agitation can be witnessed here.

In this setting a detective agency has been established by an ex cop and catholic priest to begin to investigate and solve the crime epidemic related to the ongoing crisis. Unofficial and with very little public backing, this agency is on the frontlines in attempting to make sense of the coming apart world around it. Montag Detectives Ltd have contacts in this world and the next and are often visited by all sorts of potential dangers.

Your characters are potential recruits for the new detective agency, and may be whomever you wish. Other than having a reason to work and try to solve cases, your character is mostly up to you. Here are some starting rules to help get you started.

On how the myths will work for your characters, each character has a god or goddess they may worship and commune with. This can give them benefits and perks of all sorts depending on what god they communicate with. For example, a character who has chosen Ares would do better in battle while an Aphrodite follower would be more charismatic. Gods aren't collectible cards though, and will require favors and tasks of you in order to maintain their good standings. You can also switch your chosen gods and follow whomever you please of the major pantheons, just keep in mind this can easily anger whomever you left behind. The benefits you get and the relationship with your chosen deity are largely up to you as well and subject to approval.

The only do nots are to not make characters who are omniscient, time warping, or other powers that are too much for a detective style premise to maintain.
