Question on Scholars of the Societas Academia. Aside from their usual tasks of researching the arcane (and its wide realm of knowledge) and creating new spells, are they limited to the spells they produce or discover, or can they utilize spells and skills from other aspects or factions?
You got my attention. Any spots still open?
Miraculously, Sklog had managed to shift his way out from dust and debris, all the while staying out of Nightscream's and Blackarachnia's conflict. But the Dinobot didn't appear to be doing so hot as he slugged towards Prism and Turbulence, his large mechanical legs slowing and locking up on key movements. Turbulence was becoming sure Blackarachnia's venomous retaliation was taking its course on Sklog, causing his basic servo functions to seize up; whatever the effect was, it sure wasn't good for big Decepticon.

Prism had then leaped in to action, rushing over to Sklog's side and helped him over to the elevator shaft. Sklog's pace had picked up but there was no telling if the ever present battle raging, which had now gone strangely quiet - minus Nightscream's antagonizing lullaby, would war in their direction. For the moment at least, Blackarachnia was no where to be found, whether that was a good or a bad thing was something Turbulence would rather not learn.

With Prism calling out to him about escaping, the Autobot hurried to the shaft and look up, trying to see how far the cabin and risen. While the elevator had not gone far, it was practically wedged-in a few floors above and completely inoperable from this end. Suffice to say, it was clear their only means of escape was to descend further into the complex. Wonderful.

"Yeah I do; you may not like so much though." Turbulence replied, "At least we'll get off of this floor."

Turning back to the two, Turbulence jumped toward them and converted himself into his gunship mode. While Nightscream had advised him to take it easy with his vehicle mode's repaired motor and Turbulence was one to, on most occasions, follow the advice of medics, the situation demanded him to take to the air now. Through his transformation process, his rotor blades immediately deployed and tore into the air, picking up his withdrawn aerial body.

"All aboard!" said Turbulence, releasing a set of magnetizing handle grips at the tips of his small wings for Prism and Sklog and hold on to. His only hope of course was the two's combined weight was not way over he earlier estimates. As they got situated, Tubulence took note of his vehicle mode's method of propulsion scattering the dust behind them, revealing the once concealed portions of the floor. Whether this would have helped or hindered either of the combatants, Turbulence deployed his arsenal in anticipation to an attack against the three.
Turbulence could hear the grinding friction of the elevator cabin behind him abruptly shooting upwards as if by some unknown force. With his rockets tubes still trained on the mutant as Sklog engaged it, the Autobot glanced back to the shaft just in time to catch the roar of jet engines screeching upwards, quickly closing in on their floor.

"What the-"

Before Turbulence could even comprehend the new set of events that were unraveling, soon came the most chassis-rattling sound he had ever heard: Nightscream's distorted and diabolic laughter filling the facility. Her harsh voice manifested through the floor's local intercom, terrorizing someone by the name of Blackarachnia. Turbulence suspected the Decepticon medic, or mad doctor as this point, was referring to the disfigured Cybertronian that jumped Prism earlier as "Blackarachnia" stumbled in every direction as if she were in agony. Whatever history that was between Blackarachnia and Nighscream was a topic Turbulence wished not to dissect further.

Eventually, Nightscream shot through the exposed elevator entrance with her Alt mode's mad maneuverability and soon converted into her true form, literally dog-fighting Blackarachina with her feet, chasing the still-terrified Cybertronian around the room with guns blazing. Seeing as Nightscream was well occupied and seemed to have the situation under control, Turbulence disengaged and retracted his rocket launcher back into his forearm's frame, revealing his hand in the process. Observing the unfolded scene and comprehending what had transpired, there was one thing Turbulence wanted to do now; leave.

"Yeah, I'd rather not be here anymore." replied Turbulence to Prism's flat query as he turned to the elevator, "Except the platform looks damn well jammed currently...Though if I were to transform, I could carry you and Sklog..."

Wait a minute...

"Ah, crap." Turbulence groaned, realizing the big guy was on the other side of the room, now concealed by a thick cloud of dust created by Nightscream's and Blackarachnia's conflict.
@ShiningSectorI edited my post so Turbulence has a little more to react to. Prism is pretty sure that NS has it under control at this point.

That edit actually gave me some ammunition to work with, I already have a post in mind and working on it. I should have it up later tonight.
Pffft, yeah right. Sklog's gonna get a few good hits in but he's gonna pass out from that venom pretty soon. If you guys are waiting on me though then just skip me for the time being, my RL has been getting a wee-bit hectic so posts are probably gonna be more scarce.

Understandable. I'm dealing with finals this week myself.

Following up with my previous comment, I do not see Turbulence itching to engage currently (especially not after Nightscream's spine-chilling comment) based on how the situation is playing out.

Soooo...

Forsythe for 2016?

(Sorry for making this in to an issue)
Nightscream is "tunnel visioning", so whoever gets in the way might just get a stray shot xD That said, I am not saying you are forbidden to do that ^_^

In that case, by all means, go first~ Don't let me get in the way...Literally.
@ShiningSectorSpacially speaking, yes, but Blackarachnia is moving back in the direction of the two bots to get to the shaft.

I figured as much.

I'm mainly wanting to resolve a kill-steal before it happens. Mostly curious though who should go first - if that means anything of course.
@ShiningSector Nightscream? Wait for an elevator? Nonono. Turbulence better get out on his floor fast, because there's an angry seeker coming right up the shaft and the cabin is in her way.

EDIT. Posted. Haha.

Nightscream is scary but not just scary, she's like Scary scary.

Yeah I can imagine Nightscream shooting up that elevator shaft like a bat outta hell...Huh, fitting.

On another note, I do kind-sorta-maybe feel bad for Blackarachnia and here whole erratic memory issue tearing away at her mentality. Oh that and torturous experiments too.

Back on the scene itself, Blackarachnia does appear to be making a beeline to the elevator shaft to escape than clash with Nighscream head on. Albeit She intends to either charge through or serpentine around Nightscream all spider-like (ick) in order to accomplish this.

Though that being said, Nightscream is engaging, so was Sklog too though I am unsure how the big guy is going to deal with Blackarachnia's venom or if that is simply a non-issue for the brute. Lastly, Turbulence is now armed and locking-on and if I am picturing said scene correctly, he and Prism should be located behind Nightscream's assault. If not, you may mob me with fire and pitchforks.

So I'm just kinda curious who should go first as I can imagine any one of the characters now having a shot at incapacitating Blackarachnia.

(Sorry if I am over-dissecting the situation)
As the elevator cabin neared its approach to Sub Level Twenty, Turbulence was slowly becoming aware of the loud and bellowing noises above him, echoing through the shaft. It was if a struggle was ensuing and it was becoming more apparent the closer he came to his destination. The Autobot grew more concerned, now believing Prism and Sklog had gotten themselves into serious trouble. Sadly, cabin's control panel featured no way to manipulate the platform's ascension rate; it wasn't surprising really but it certainly was agonizing to wait for the cabin to arrive slowly.

"C'mon..."Turbulence groaned, itchy to deploy his armaments as soon as he could confirm any sign on hostility on the coming floor.

Just as the cabin door's finally retracted having reached the platform's destination, Turbulence caught a glimpse of something truly ferocious. Before him was Prisim pinned to the ground by what looked like another Cybertronian but the entity's form appeared mutated and decayed, foreign and natural components were exposed through force protrusion or left dangling out of the desecrated chassis. As much as Turbulence wanted to question what this thing was, it was evident that Prism was about to meet the AllSpark; a result Turbulence did not kindly favor.

However, fate had quickly intervened with a mighty mace swinging into Prism's attacker with tremendous force before Turbulence could arm himself, sending the defiled form flying across the poorly lit facility. The Autobot flyer soon found the mace had belonged to Sklog as the Decepticon Dinobot came into view, charging in pursuit towards the assailed abomination. While a spectacular sight, Turbulence rushed to Prism offering his free hand to assist her whereas is right arm, trained on the mutated Cybertronian, had morphed into one of his Thermo Rocket Launchers, hot fumes drooling from each of the red-glowing tubes as they powered up.

"I think now would be a good time to leave." insisted Turbulence.
