Sorry for the delay everyone. College finals are here so I'm a bit deep in them mud currently. I'm currently drafting the next piece so hopefully it won't take much longer.
@ShiningSector@Zelosse

It's been a full week since I posted we were going to start up again. We need you guys to post to get this ball rolling. I know Dndragons has been waiting to post, but she can't until you guys do.

Apologies, I took the proposed pecking order literally. I went ahead and made my post.

"I'm sure we can keep pa-

Before Travis could even complete his remark towards Raiya's jibing gesture, Nemo's female counterpart suddenly casted what appeared to be a speed or acceleration spell of some sorts as electricity sprung forth from her blue-enveloping aura before vanishing off a split second later. A trail of cloudy dust and dirt soon filled the, air illustrating her path to their objective. Travis and perhaps some of his teammate still gazed at the scene trying to make sense of the unexpected turn of events.

"...she does know none of us can't do that, right?" Travis said aloud with contempt, feeling that they had practically been bailed on. However deep in the recesses of his calculating mind, he brainstormed on the side how to re-produce Raiya's now demonstrated and helpful-proved spell to personal use.

A moment later, Jessie had summoned a wyvern as an aerial mount; fascinating! She soon took off as well towards their destination too but at the very least expressed her condolences to the remaining members of the troubling situation. But just as unexpected as Raiya's selfish departure, Nemo had then broken down, as if overcome by the events that had transpired. Given his calm and "friendly" attitude for a wanted man, Travis was rather taken back by the display of such sorrow. Then again, he didn't know if that was also over-played sarcasm either.

Eventually however, Yuno calmly addressed the issue and developed a teleportation circle around her and after "motivating" Nemo, she prompted their leader in order to make contact with Jessie to assist with pinpointing her location so the teleportation circle could transit them there accordingly. "Excellent proposal Yuno!" praised Travis as he took position in the circle as instructed, eagerly awaiting Nemo to touch base with their allies. While appearing outstaged, given his own understanding of the same rune to, admittedly, the moment had gotten to him as well.
I'm still game.
"Speaking of which..." said Turbulence, following Prism's request to wait for the others just as his own IFF sensors pinged over his HUD.

Turning his attention to the direction of the ping, Turbulence's heads-up display zoomed in on the general origin of the sensor emission before catching two masses flying towards them. His visual sensors quickly highlighted the inbound entities as Nightscream and Sklog hanging from her vehicle mode's underside. For such a simply looking alt. mode, Turbulence was almost impressed that Nightscream could ferry the former dinobot without any trouble, at least what could be observed visually.

"I can seen them coming in now. Nightscream's carrying -

As he reported his findings to Prism, he caught their Decepticon ally disconnecting Sklog from her chassis before jetting off unannounced.

- Correction. Nightscream dropped, Sklog."

Luckily, and thankfully for that matter, Nightscream had dropped off Sklog's profile close by and at a safe enough altitude before flanking away from them. While the landing seemed rough, Sklog however appeared more durable and easily picked himself back up without needing the Autobot's help. It was nonetheless appealing however to see Sklog back on his feet and active than still being distraught back at the lab.

"You okay big guy? Feels better not being cooped up back there don't it?" asked Turbulence as he made his way to Sklog, wanting to know if the former Dinobot required any help but just as importantly, "Anyway, where'd Nightscream take off to?"
New work, been kinda out of energy this week. I'll try to post today.

Tis understandable. I know that feeling too as I do technical support for a living and some college on the side.
*waiting intensifies*

@Forsythe@pyroman Self amusement aside, anything goin' on?
"Wilco." Travis gestured a mock salute of his right hands' index and middle fingers once Felix had given their team their objective and destination. Once the Arch-Magi retired to his study, Travis gulped the last of his coffee and now fueled by caffeine and sharing the same responsible thoughts like everyone else, dispersed from the dinning table in order to prepare themselves for their first mission.

After rummaging through his near-disorganized belongings, the Untalent had exited the mansion and joined up with the others outside, currently queue while waiting for the last few of their members to arrive. Travis didn't appear to of brought much along with him but what was evident were the two belts wrapper around his body and lower belts with several articles of tomes and and study material he believed to serve a suitable purpose holstered in their respective pouches. Not surprisingly, Nemo and Raiya were outside first with Jessie and Artos coming up from the rear.

Jessie, like Travis as was it seemed, displayed the same preparedness with tomes enclosed and attached to her belts where as Artos appeared to be less primed amongst the rest of the team but given the fact he was not the scholarly type, there was perhaps little he needed to bring with him and considering his mastery of his own cold arte, it potentially made sense why he seemed less prepared. Though what was perhaps intriguing was the atmosphere around seemed much colder than Travis remembered and was almost as if the aura around Artos has doubled its radius. Was it because of a shift in mood or was is a mere necessity in order to address the even warmer climate.

Normally, Travis would interject towards Artos on her current state but a closer inspection noted that he was currently establishing his well-being with the outside. Knowing how drained Artos first appeared in the mansion, Travis concluded that the outside must be even more punishing. While amusing as a first thought, for Artos' sake, Travis hoped they would not have to visit a desert of any sort.

As he stood in wait for the rest of the team, Travis continued to capitalize on his notes from last night, formulating the possibilities of his own printed suggestions.

So who is the lucky individual that is up next?
"Alrighty then, I think I may have an idea or two..." Travis' reply to Felix seemingly trailed off as his mind, now fueled caffeine" began churning out numerous possibilities he could intact on his manadial.

Eventually, Felix began the briefing and divulged his knowledge of the Paragons further. While re-confirming that the Paragons were practically bottomless mana well, he also claimed they also possessed unique abilities, each Paragon providing a different skill than the other before or after it. Suddenly, Travis wanted to get started examining one of these things as soon as possible.

The Paragon of Espial, as Felix described it, possessed the ability to observe other individuals, but to what extent? Travis surmised being able to spy on people through walls; an excellent skill to have given his recent bad luck. Another thought occurred; can it only watch people, or could it also observed objects too? Asking so many questions about an item yet to be re-discovered was pointless and did his best to stop 'drooling' over the subject.

What then became nearly as fascinating was that the first Paragon to go after was in Redwood National Park, the same place Felix decided to setup his base of operations in too, just to be conveniently within reach. Clever. "Its amazing what one could find in their own backyard." Travis commented aloud in amusement of the irony of the situation, likely to be interpreted in different but logical conclusions.

But this confirmed one suspicion of his that had developed when Felix first contacted him; the Academia does know about the Paragons and the individuals - the very individuals he spoke to way up in the hierarchy of the school indeed have lied and danced around his questions relating to the Paragons. Felix was becoming possibly right about other organizations, even his own Academia, could be after the Paragons. Were they after them? Travis couldn't say, but it was surely valid enough to say the top professors know about them. The very thought however made him sick; cheated, that something like this was kept from him so dishonestly.

"I've none," Travis replied, fully understanding the team's formation, "personally, I am eager to get started."
