I REALLY like the first one, myself. It's even got comparable speed/maneuverability to Max's current FRAME. It's deciding what weapon to get rid of that's hard, and whether two ECM suites (or an ECM suite and something else) is worth the trade... but then again, JUMP JETS.

Golden Girls is a comedy-adventure story in which three girls have received King Midas' ancient curse and turn everything they touch into gold. They manage to keep themselves from turning their whole world into gold by wearing gloves and boots, but this doesn't stop awful shenanigans from happening. They go on a quest to restore themselves to normal because it turns out it really sucks not being able to touch anyone or anything, and even worse: they're slowly turning into gold themselves! Greedy sorts try to stop them along the way, hoping to gain control of these potential sources of infinite wealth.

Will finish TURN 2 tonight.

Awesome - I sent you two PMs about my turn thus far, and my ledger is complete. I'd love to know what the results of my exploration are so I can describe that when I make my IC post.

Thanks for your time!
I might have Maxwell take one of the new models. They're neat to say the least.

I'm also tempted (once Nevix is around again) to have Maxwell talk to Oliver about whether or not he can check out these FRAMEs to make sure there's nothing fishy about them, like a killswitch or something, because this is all incredibly suspicious to Mr. Silver.

EDIT: Also, yeah, since you said Kat's scream wouldn't have been audible, @Dark Light, I'm gonna edit out Max hearing the scream when I get back. I don't know what went through my head when I wrote that. I must have been in a daze.

Err, actually, that was Foster. WOULD your character have been audible or nah, Dark Light?
BTW: I'm assuming Kat did NOT key her screaming through the radio, pretty sure people in combat don't key-in the mic just to scream.
-Since the scream was apparently only heard/mentioned by one person.

I feel dumb now. I need to go back and edit, don't I?
Granted. Now everything associated with Mondays disappear also. Songs about Monday, characters named Monday, weeks, months, years - all these things vanish because you just had to get rid of Monday you vindictive son-of-a-jerkface. I hope you're happy. I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY!

I wish I'd made a wiser wish than this.
Aaaargh!

Put me on a list of "interested but too busy" folks. Maybe I can come in as a replacement later in the RP, but unless something happens to one of the RPs I'm in (and I don't want that to happen), I dunno if it's possible for me to join this.

Still, you're doing a lot of stuff I really like. Your trait system is the shiznag.

EDIT: I do want to ask in case I do end up having time: what sort of skills would you say the Master trait is applicable to? Anything, including stuff already on the list?

EDIT 2: Also...

A hunter would obviously know ranged weapons, but you have to pick ranged weapons too to really know how to use them- so would Hunter include a specific ranged weapon? That way you don't have to use more points on something that you should technically already know?

My perspective on this is a big "Eeeeeehhhhh?"

Okay, so: there's more than one way to hunt animals. Using bows or guns or whatever isn't the only method. You can use pit traps with bait, or snares, or you can use a spear (either throwing or not)... You could go hunting with a blowgun and poisons, which is very different skillset from the ranged weapons listed in the traits. And then, of course, there's the tried-and-true method the Plains Indians used when hunting buffalo: chase the herd off a cliff and let gravity do the work.

Hunting =/= ranged weapons is my gist. You can build several different kinds of hunters with this trait system, and several different types of soldiers, social characters... whatever. That's what makes trait systems cool.

(Now I want to see someone make a Davy Crockett style hunter that wrestles bears to death.)

My post is roughly 1/2 done now. I'll finish it tomorrow between my first and second class.
Why don't you lardasses just drink water?

Because I'm a lardass and I don't drink no diet nothin'! In the words of Weird Al Yankovich: "Because I'm Fat."
Log Horizon is an anime about a space ship called the Horizon and its crew. Their story is told through the ship's log (thus the name "Log Horizon"). It's a miniseries about 15 episodes long in which we see the inevitable demise of the crew as they struggle against megacorporations, small dictatorships, space pirates, and weird cosmic lifeforms that infest derelict ships. They end up not dying to any of these evils but to starvation and the freezing cold of space after their ship runs out of fuel. The Captain kills his crewmates when everything looks hopeless, then gives himself the same merciful death.

The audience knows the fate of the crew - or has a hint about it - at the start of the series because someone boards the abandoned ship with desiccated skeletons inside and starts listening to the ship's log.
