| In Depth Appearance |Cai is a fit young man often noted for having taken greatly after his mother. Standing at about 6'0", he is a relatively tall fellow with a slim, but toned body like a swimmer. What he lacks in bulging muscle he makes up for with firmness and flexibility. He has soft straight eyebrows and dark almond shaped eyes that often make him appear friendly. His nose is rather simple and his lips are full and slightly heart shaped.
His hair is jet black, curly, and shoulder length, his bangs can sometimes give him a slightly unkempt look unless he grooms them back. He can sometimes be found wearing a white hairband to push back his bangs, giving him a vaguely effeminate look when doing so. In general though, the rest of his hair is pushed back behind his ears, each occasionally adorned with a simple gold hoop.
He generally wears neutral tones of white, black, brown, grey, and the occasional pink. His style, when not in formal attire, usually consist of sweat shirts, henleys, and other loose tops. Nothing overly baggy, but he really dislikes tight-fitting clothing. He wears two gold rings on his left pinky and index finger and a funny looking birthmark can be seen on the lower part of the back of his neck. Cai has his mother's name tattooed above his right ankle.

Cai is a free-spirited and loveable young man, often trapped by the expectations of his father and the memories of his late mother. His body courses with an electric vitality, vibrant and alive, ALMOST always willing to try anything once, twice if he liked it. But he is sensible and holds others to a higher standard than himself, so he sometimes feels discouraged when he sees people making the same mistakes he's made. He's kind of got an older brother vibe to him, tough on the outside, but actually very cute on the inside. It is this same sensibility that makes him rather protective over people, especially those he's come to care for. If you get on his bad side though, or make him frustrated, he can become very cold and distant.
He's a hopeless romantic at heart and there's a poetic charm about him. He doesn't like sleeping around with random girls, but if that's your thing, more power to you. Lately, he's been finding himself attracted to guys, but he hasn't acted on these feelings yet and doesn't want to cause it makes him feel uncertain and confused about himself. He hates feeling a lack of control over his life and who he is. Despite his seemingly open nature, he is actually very secretive when it comes to the details of his life. He is known to hide his feelings, which generally end up bursting later on when he can no longer contain his bent up emotions.
Still, he normally doesn't deny himself of things if he's certain about them. He's very self-assured and certain about most things. Not overly confident, but solidified in his own self-worth and he often projects encouragement onto others who may be doubting themselves. A great listener, and excessively easy to talk to, he hates the feeling of being controlled and having his life laid out for him like a book. He wants to experience everything for himself and come to his own conclusions.
| Abilities |With a deep desire to be free of constraints and free to live his life how he wants, the storm brought about in him the ability to teleport, though not quite in the manner that he would have liked. Cai first discovered his power to teleport when he accidentally teleported inside his mother's grave after a longing desire to see where she was buried. It's not as flashy as it may seem. No bright sparkling lights and no puffs of colourful smoke. To others, he simply disappears. But to him, a nauseating feeling of vertigo and light-headed-ness slowly washes over his body as his power begins to activate. He feels as though he's suddenly being thrusted(against his will) to a new location as the environment around him rapidly shifts. His "landings" after teleporting are less than clean to say the least.
If he's touching someone while his power is activating, they will be dragged along with him. However, because his power is tied to his emotions, he can sometimes(though rarely) encourage or "trigger" his power to activate by forcefully bringing up memories and feelings about a person(he sometimes tries to do this by looking at old photos or remembering things about them). But the feeling has to be deeply genuine for his power to work in this manner. His power may also activate if he has a strong desire to be away from someone, like his father. But for his power to trigger in this manner is rare. Furthermore, his power may also be triggered by other emotions, such as anger, which would teleport him to said person that triggered that overwhelming feeling within him. That's the key to his ability activating. The emotion has to be breathlessly overwhelming inside of him.
| Limitations |As of yet, Cai has little to no control over his power and cannot activate it at will. His power is generally triggered when he has a strong desire/emotion to see someone or if he's thinking deeply about someone. His power is very random and it has sometimes placed him into awkward situations. When his power is activating he feels light-headed and nauseous. Because of his lack of control over his power, its uses are rather limited and unpredictable. This is why he does his best to control his feelings and emotions, because he never knows when he may accidentally teleport himself to someone.

| Background |Let's just say, being a Black-German was always a bit weird growing up. As the son of Jamaican immigrants, he was born and raised in Berlin for most of his life. His father was very strict and his education was top priority. So much so, that he was never able to experience life and have much fun, nor did he have many friends either(if any). Cai's father in particular had essentially planned out his entire life for him, and gave him little wiggle room for situational development. Your gonna do this, your gonna go here, and then your going to marry her. Everything was carefully detailed like a planner and Cai soon began to dislike his father for being so controlling. He had four things that kept him sane; baseball, skateboarding, music, and his girlfriend, all of which he kept hidden from his father at all cost.
Once his mother died, Cai felt it was finally time for a big change. He wanted to move out of Germany, somewhere completely different. And Brighton seemed like just the place. In exchange for his "freedom" he had to promise his father that he would attend the college of his choice and the degree of his choice. With a deal eventually struck, Cai finally moved from home to live in Brighton with girlfriend, away from the debilitating constraints of his father. Or had he? Considering the promise that he made, is even still free? His father regularly checks up on him, and funds almost everything. If Cai were to go back on his word, he'd certainly be unable to stay. Even across country, his father has a hold on his life. These feelings consumed him more than ever.
After the freak storm came, his powers manifested in such a painful way. When he first teleported, he accidentally ended up in his mother's grave. This experience haunted his dreams ever since and only his girlfriend knew of his powers. Her and the odd on-looker who happened to witness it. He had no control over it. Control. The one thing he wants to have the most of in his life. Controlled by his father. Controlled by his power. Why has his life been cursed in this way? When will he be able to make his own destiny.
