I like the fact I find the original digimon I wanted to play(but totally forgot the name and the evolution line they are from) after I post my intro. Ha oh well. Next digimon rp I shall remember I swear! XD

And recently I rewatched the openings of the Digimon series to jog some memories. Good times. Though I think season 4's opening is the best xD

Watching the woman fearfully draw closer to eventually kneel beside him to examine him, he could practically sense the fear dripping from her body. A slight tremble to it every time they made eye contact or when he spoke. Still quite curious, considering the obvious fear, he was somewhat impressed she was willing to get so close to him. Her neck was bare, and he could see fingers coil around the slender flesh and snapping it like a twig. He could, but he made no move to. Cat was unsure if she was being brave, a coward, idiotic, or kind. Perhaps a little bit of everything.

As she tended to his injury, he didn't even flinch as stinging pain electrified from his arm and coursed through his body. Pain was a normal daily thing, and it kept his mind at a somewhat calm ease when no other solution was available. Though Dog seems to struggle with pain, a aspect he's somewhat disappointed in with his sibling. She needed to learn to deal with pain sooner rather than later after all. Though he supposed she handled his smacks well, she still cried and whined over every cut.

Blue eyes glancing toward the blonde woman at the question, he blinked slowly at her clear vocaled question, seeming somewhat approving her ability to somewhat hide her fear. A good quality to have when surviving.

"Always." Cat stated in a blunt but calm honest manner.

His voice didn't indicate any emotion toward the aspect, despite his words meaning the two of them had been alone for all their lives. Now this girl probably wouldn't understand the very real truth through that word, since most normals couldn't imagine such a lifestyle, but he still gave the truth all the same. It seemed she was trying to converse, though Cat wasn't all that chatty and he never usually had long answers unless required. At her question of stitches, he simply gave nod in reply.

"Do as you will." Cat replied, confirming his okay to continue. The tall man didn't really care if she wanted to stop or use her supply and skill to treat him, though he still found her actions slightly odd.

Cat was silent for a little bit, before his cold blue eyes examined what he could see of her face. "Reason." he started to get her attention. "What is your reason for surviving?" he asked in the same calm neutral tone.

The black haired man watching her as he caught her curious gaze looking over his torso, more or less his deep scars. It was normal to be curious of such things, as they tell a unknown story and is the physical result of that story. Although, he doubted these scars stories would amuse someone like this girl. Perhaps in a way it would. It could be similar in the reason people enjoy reading mystery or horror books. Either way, he didn't really mind sharing stories to satisfy curiousity, it didn't much matter to him unlike Dog but Mercy was most likely too fearful to ask such personal questions.

As the others left and they were left behind, Dog rocked on his heels as his rusty brown eyes scanned the area while watching the cautious retreating forms. He didn't see anything, but he did hold a sense of uneasiness. It was odd when things were this quiet, after all since when was a zombie apocalypse quiet? Still he stood there and kept guard over the trucks before glancing toward the blue dressed woman as she spoke about bullets. Though seemed to be speaking to herself about it rather than Dog.

The gun in her hands caught Dog's attention and shifted a little closer to the woman with the same friendly energetic smile he's had since he joined the group. "That's a nice Desert Eagle you have." he said quietly in order to not draw attention, but was too hyperactive to just keep completely silent. It was boring standing around doing nothing other than scanning the area for danger after all.

Every iteration of Digimon is slightly different they do "bleed" just they bleed data/source code. In theory you inflict a serious enough injury they would probably start leaking digital blood, what purpose it serves if any coudl be debated But I would think especially in the real world they'd have some equivilant. Data gets converted to synthetic flesh basically, so thy should have some form of Synthetic blood analog.But Dark doesn't have to mean blood. Dark can mean stuff like torture. while in a show a bad digi would be likely to just lock up their captive slap them a couple times. in a darker setting torture would fit in, even if digimon don't bleed they can feel pain so by stabbing a digimon every so often to inflict pain until they talked that could fall under "darker" The original version wasn't afraid to be a little dark for plot reasons, Myotismon killing pumpkinmon for example, and torturing nyaromon/salamon. However the dub edited some of that stuff, yes we still saw an abused salamon, but Pumpkinmon got "banished" because his death was off screen. Puppetmon had a real gun instead of a toy and so on.So i would take "Darker" as in the bad guys are bad enough to try and kill our characters (why else would we need weapons?)

True true I forgot the aspect of torture xD I understood the humans since yeah I expect them to get hurt, have the possibility to die, etc at least compared to the show which rarely actually put them in harms way (though my memory is bad. I do know the first series tended to 'kill' off a lot of digimon while 3 and 5 made confirmed deaths)

By being darker, do you mean towards the humans? Since in Digimon, it sort of made sense when they didn't bleed unlike Pokemon since they are bundles of data. And when they die they just get reincarnated. (Unless their data gets absorbed upon defeat) or is that changed in this?

It was dark out, but Jake was walking along a path around a lake in the park. It was peaceful, walking in the quiet night with the darkened sky revealing beautiful lights. The tall blonde boy standing 6'8 was wearing a pretty fashionable seafoam green pants with a jacket to match. A white t-shirt underneath with a pair of white sneakers. The blue eyes boy didn't have much reason to be out here, it just felt right to take a walk.

It was then he glanced up up above the lake to see a blue light, but in the blink of a eye he found himself slipping and fell sideways toward the water. Flailing a little to catch himself, he shut his eyes as he expected the cold water's impact, but instead grunted as he hit soft soil. Name blinked and sat up, blinking his eyes open to see that he was no longer in the park, but in a very odd and colorful forest. His mouth opened slightly in awe as he gazed around him at the colorful surroundings, noting that this would make a excellent design or a painting.

Jake snapped out of his thoughts as a round bluish small creature, hopped onto his lap, its ears twitching before the right one lightly smacked him across the cheek.

"Heya partner! Jake right? I'm Pagumon, you're Digimon and you should feel quite honored. But no time to explain, we got to hurry." The creature said in a slightly feminine childish voice before flapping it's ears and flying off of the tall boy. Flapping in place just as tall as his face was.

Jake blinked before standing up and looking at the creature for a moment, before smiling a little and unconsciously grabbing the introduced Pagumon by placing his hands on either side of the round creature. "Cute." he chuckled a little.

Pagumon blinked her slitted eyes before flapping her ears rapidly before smacking him again. "Hey! I just said to hurry! So go go go!!" she ordered before zooming behind him and pushing him along.

Jake blinked but he obliged the odd creature and walked through the odd forest, until he was promptly shoved toward a very large tree. To his surprise, he did not crash into the expected rough surface, but instead went right through it and entered into a different place. A large empty space with only a large temple, a red haired boy and a black haired girl with similar small strange creatures.

Although the boy didn't quite feel shy around Pagumon, he shifted a little in place when he spotted the two humans, putting his hands in his pockets as he walked over. Pagumon promptly flapped above his head before landing on the blonde hair and rested against it.

"Awe finally! You walk slow for a tall partner ya know? Now just need to wait for the rest of the slowpokes." she huffed, crossing her ears a little.

Most bird Digimon for some reason are female. Or is it most wind Digimon are female. Either way, there is a definite stereotype with Wind and female Digimon.

True, only male bird I can remember is Hawkmon in series 2 who was the girl with glasses's digimon.

Hey can I change my digimon? I kinda want a female digimon but I think digimon are defined male or female depending on the type soooo yeah xD

Though I guess technically they are genderless. So I could probably could get away as Gazimon a female. But Flaremon and Apollomon look quite male xD
