The sun was setting as the gossip poured over the streets of Gold Village. The newspaper were vague and unsatisfactory to fulfill the need of the humans questioning what happened, two days ago. In front of the fountain a man with a mean face expression slowly walked to a cheerfully old lady who was making a wool scarf. ''My boy, my boy. Nice to see you. It so nice to have someone to talk and to know someone is thinking of a old lady like me, hoho~'' The grandmother laughed not raising her eyes from her hand work. The man sat beside her with a grunt, it was his default expression to glare at the world. ''Tell me all about the night of the fire.'' She encouraged the man. ''You first.'' Was his response which the old lady happily took. '' Oh you see some of the politicians in our parliament vanished that night. The king locked himself and his family for safety away. There arent proof but the whole city brooms about the conspiracy. This children this days dont know how to make a over thrown them self.'' She shock her head but continued in her cheerfully tone. '' It was being said that the people who vanished were taking enormous sums out of the city budget to pay hunters to develop weapons not only intended for capturing nasty beast but actually using it against the king. '' ''The younger generations sure love to be flashy and have money. I even feel ashamed for them.'' The ex hunter sighed taking a flask out a inner pocket and taking a sip. He glared towards anyone who would stop to look at the unusually pair sitting by the fountain. Most humans hurried out there as if they were held by a gun point. ''What will they do?'' He asked the old lady a ex hunter too. ''The parliament? they would love to arrest the whole guild. They will not do it. The hunters do have a powerful argument on their side no?'' ''..... the fire .... The damage done by the escaping dragons shouldnt have caused such a wide spread fire. Something else set it once they were gone... The guild is struggling to count the damage down. '' He fall silent looking in the distance of the plaza, his eyes searching the shadows as if they sensed someone. ''And?'' The old lady urged him, as she placed her half finished wool cap on the lap. Looking directly at her company. '' How many of the low life made it out?'' ''Nearly all....some were killed. They are trying to figure what to do with the demons burn bodies. Hoping to do something productive. '' the man sad with a heavy sigh leaning back in the bench his hand covering his eyes. '' They are lacking a facility to do anything productive. ''The woman helpfully pointed out the oblivious making the man crack a smile. ''The momentary leader of the guild is awaiting a revenge attack from the dragons any day now.'' ''Stupid. They are really hopeless with out us old folk. Getting their hands dirty with human politics, the hunters honor dirtied by such a silliness as money for experiments that in most cases just failed.'' He stood up and said his goodbyes the demons were wandering the town, he felt it in his bones. The guild was in completely disorder, not to mention the church who was kissing ass of the dragons. They were no gods. At best they could be seen as bag of gold. Wandering in his bar, he wondered if the fate would have looked different if he didnt sell information of his dragon pretending to be normal humans guest to his old guild. They proved them self useless in all sense. He went behind his trusted bar stand and leaned on a high chair. ''Next time I am holding my lips shut. Dragon or humans as long as they pay I will not kill them myself....''After a few moments of thinking he added in his mumbling. ''...for heck even a demon I will serve you cannot relay on the young thirsting for power.'' As the sun set his bar opened letting rumor filled with fear of creatures that were seen during the night and gossip full of hate and disappointment freely flow in with the happy drunks. ----------------------------------------------------------- Meantime a half a hour away from the town, protected under a magical shield the dragons hold their Festival of Aging. It was the end of the third day the last of the children were stepping in front of the grand grandmothers and grand grandfathers showing off their improvement in magic, so they could age on to being a teen, with the recognition of the most powerfully dragons. Some dragons watched the ceremony of again some minded their own businesses, preferring to watch a another age group, or simply minding their own business. The dragons tribe didnt appear to show any worries for the future in opposite to the neighbour human town. They heard the news that dragons were captured by the hunters and freed a few hours later. Going their daily festival life everything is good what ends good, right? The grand grand mother Mirazan was annoyed with the decision of some of the more curios adults to gawk at the damage done to the hunters by their fellow dragons, using the church on the opposite side as a safe place. Voicing her announcement aloud and warning them to lay low that the church wasnt a safe place, grumbling on no end at them, still letting them follow their free will, even if she found it stupid to a full new level. Thought the curios dragons could as simply stay in the tribe to enjoy a talk with humans. One couldnt hide for long that the grand grandparents invited some humans to the tribe for the duration of festival. And so many dragons would question the humans about anything from asking why their fridge didnt work when they bite off the cables, the object they stole at one of those days, till the begging to be told good night stories. The ones who disapproved of the humans in general nagged and snarled at them but didnt do anything more. Guest of the grand grand parents were sadly not up for being eaten. Much to some dragons displeasure. Neither were the guest allowed to snack on the dragons of the tribe, this mainly was intended at Draken. The other grand grand parents found the curiosity over humans a welcome thing. It would distracted the dragons and maybe even keep them safe in the tribe. All of the grand parents were warned by the grand grand parents about the possible demons wandering in the tribe. It was a question if such beings would be repealed by the ancient magic or not, taking in the account the shield was somewhat weaken thanks to the machines of the hunters. The uncertain made them act carefully, as same warned to not talk about it to anyone else. Knowing full well that some would just go search for the demons because they never saw one before. This was why most of the grandparents casually wandered the tribe and the woods of the fairies and pixies scanning for any unknown being. In the woods where the fairies lived a guest was already making him self comfortable. It was a chicken. Not any chicken but a legendary chicken. As this little bird was the bird who lived. It journey started when a dragon took her to the tribe as a meal, in which the chicken escaped her capture to be cashed by nearly all babies and child dragons all over the tribe. Dodging fire balls, flapping its wings over the pitfalls. Once running away from that stampede of dragons young-lings it avoided for a feather length having her head cut off when the dragon slayer was cutting trees to lure out dragons. It avoided even the hungry animals of the woods to found its sanctuary under the pixies and fairies, who considered the brave chicken a miracle as it didnt yet die from a heart attack from everything it lived thought. The little magical beings healed the chicken who lived and gave her their own magic to use. Little did the chicken knew, that her story wasnt yet done. Well... the chicken little did know anything at all, but that digressing....

A black and grey cat sat on a tree branch, staring into Gold Village. Next to him was a closed notebook, which contained various drawings of humans and dragons with ancient writing next to each sketch. His tail swished back in forth with curiosity as he watched the civilians walk around the village. His piercing red eyes were staring at a fruit stand. He always wanted to try human food, but he has no way to acquire the money needed to buy it. He stared with a bit of envy as one of the humans bought a red-ish fruit. (Is this long enough of a post? If not, I'll try to make longer posts. Also tell me of anything else I did, because I'm 99% sure I messed up somewhere? ^^')

The village's peace was not to last, for suddenly, a group of men and women ran through the streets, flapping their arms like wings and screaming out, "We are the Chickens of the night, here us cluck and tremble!" Before using their hands to peck at people all around. The village guard tried to apprehend them, but they moved fast and fluidly, easily evading the guard's clutches as they continued their mass pecking. On a nearby rooftop was Nexias, laughing his ass of as he witnessed the chaos he had wrought below, his laughter becoming even louder when one of the guards tripped and went flying into a meat cart, causing it to collapse and for ham, sausage, and other assorted meats roll along the ground, causing even more chaos as people ran to grab it, or tripped over it while trying to avoid the chickens of the night. "I knew this was going to be hilarious, but it turned out better than I had ever imagined.." Nexias said when he finally calmed down enough to comment on the chaos below. He sighed, however, as all good things must end, and he'd get in trouble if he let someone get seriously injured from this. With a snap of his fingers, the chickens of the night were returned to sanity, and looked around confusedly, wondering ow they had gotten there. Nexias then gave a coughing grunt, alerting all in attendance to his presence, his wings in plain view, his fangs shining in the daylight, and his intense purple eyes filled with mischievous glee. "Well know, wasn't that something, huh, I hope you all enjoyed that little bit of chaos in your day as I know did. Oh, and don't blame the chickens for any of this, they were under my control and not in their right minds. If any harm does come to them, then I will personally beat the sorry shit out of the idiot who did it. With that being said. . . later." The chaos loving dragon dispersed into a shadowy mist that flew away in the blink of an eye, leaving the on lookers of the event speechless and confused at what the hell just happened. Nexias was soon back at the tribe, as he was fairly fast in his dragon form, which he had taken as soon as he had exited the city, and was preparing to get ready to show off his magical abilities, eager to be recognized as one of GrandFather strength. He was quickly growing in his dragon age, his powers in near constant use and always growing because of it, and his wild ways making it impossible for him to settle down and raise any family or take any mates. Nexias would only take for a mate anyone he deemed interesting enough, as free-spirited as himself or more so, or one who had beaten him in combat, the race of said person didn't matter. Watching the children as they strutted their magic, seeking to prove themselves able, he smiled, wondering if he'll ever get the chance to see one of his brood take to the stage. If he continued on his present couse of actions, it might soon be impossible for him, though that was mostly his delusions of grandur speaking, as he believe that Great Grand Father ship would soon be in his grasp after he proved himself today. One could say a lot about Nexias, but it should never be said that he is lacking in confidence.

The dim light of the sun seemed to sketch long shadows upon the area as Abraxas stood silently in the shadows of an alley. Upon his awakening he had left the burning prison from which his cell was held, as the fire barely scratched him. No, in contrast the fire gave him comfort in the twilight that was now. The alley that he stood in was apart of a large market, with many humans about buying and selling, completely oblivious to what was coming. It had been 25 long years since Abraxas had eaten last, he was famished to say the least, and this hunger was now driving him to find the nearest food source; humans. He had never tasted human before, those in charge of him had only fed those in the prison scraps of whatever they could find. Now it was time for the demon to feast. Before he could come from the shadows, something occurred. Humans who acted differently then those in the market. No, these human flapped their arms and made screeching noises, causing a momentary chaos in the marketplace. Then it was over, and a voice could be heard coming from top a building. It said, "no harm was to come to those that had acted in the odd way, or those that did it would suffer" then vanished into the night. Abraxas was perplexed by this oddity and wondered what the thing was. The most logical thing that came to his mind was a fellow demon of sorts. He didn't really care, as long as it was gone and wouldn't pose a threat, for Abraxas would be the one to make them suffer. Erupting from the alleyway, like a mad bull, came Abraxas towering over the humans like a lion over sheep. The spikes connected to his wrist, elongated, turning into formidable weapons. Shock filled the humans hearts as they looked at the monster from afar. Abraxas then roared defiantly, letting the town know that he was there and sending the humans running. He charged, his bulk causing indentations in the ground with each power step. He came upon the nearest group of humans in a matter of seconds, sending some flying into buildings with a swipe from his right arm. He swung his left spike blade at a group, sending their bodies to the floor with a sickening crunch. Next, he picked up a screaming female by the looks of it, and devoured her. The taste of human flesh was invigorating, and he craved more. He sent a bolt of fire into a nearby building, causing it to explode in a plume of fire and smoke, which would soon be seen by all. Abraxas was content causing this chaos, for the thrill of it all was great and he deserved it for being imprisoned for so long. The humans would pay for the insolence at keeping a demon of his caliber locked away. Nothing could stop him now he thought, as he continued the destruction.

Lynx was still watching the fruit stand when a group of people seemed to be losing their minds, pecking other people around, He giggled to himself quietly, but his laughter was interrupted by the speech of a human on top of a building. He couldn't hear what the person was saying no matter how much he tried, but he was still intent on what he would do afterwards. His eyes lit like a child when he saw the person sprout wings and fly off. A dragon! he thought to himself. He picked up his book that was next to him when he heard a noise come from the town: an attack. He looked at the figure causing all of the commotion with irritation at first. He quickly turned to fearful when he saw the suspect was a demon. Lynx had thought all of the demons were still locked up, and he lied it that way. He had to make sure he was right. He hopped off of the tree branch and ran into the town. Not many people saw him running in between their legs, but the ones who did were either freaked out or confused. He stood on the fruit stand he was looking at earlier to get a better look at the situation. He was, in fact, right that it was a demon. It had a dead women in it's mouth, which made Lynx extremely angry. He was about to destroy the earth under the demon when he realized he was in a village. He would most likely hurt other civilians around the area of impact. He chose to just avoid the situation. He knew that either the other demon would eventually leave or he would be apprehended by one of the hunters. His attention then turned toward the fruit salesman. He was hiding behind his fruit stand so the other demon wouldn't notice him. Lynx's curiosity overcame him and, instead of flee, he studied the cowering salesman. The man had never seen such a creature before: a red eyes cat with a seemingly malicious grin on it's face. The man ran away which disappointed Lynx. Lynx then left the town to go back to the forest, but not before he grabbed one of the fruits from the stand.

"So...Are you going to buy anything...ehh...?" The man behind the stall asked before stifling a yawn. Keepa took their time, soundlessly admiring the baubles and wrist-watches near the vendor's till. The man's comment was in the form of a half-question, not entirely certain of their customer's gender. "My apologies, I just..." Keepa sighed, holding up two different watches with curiosity before biting their lip with a small click. "...I can only afford one, and they are both so beautiful. You have quite the eye for merchandise, sir~" the demon coo'd, offering a sheepish smile. The goal was in its works, weather he wanted a watch or not, the merchant was the prize all along. In truth, he wished he had the money for even one of the watches. "I would so sooner have both, although I bet you-" he began before the body of another man crashed into the cart, sending the contents sprawling and the salesman unconscious. Without breaking their expression, Keepa took their time to put both watches on one of his wrists, syncing them in silence while turning to the source of the disturbance. A towering beast, feasting on humans. It made me look bad~ "OI!" Keepa called, protective of his cattle in his resolution to stand up to the fiend. ~~~1st person~~~ The mere visage was daunting, though it had a strange eldritch pull on me. I was wholesomely disgusted by this feeling; rejected from my homeland, I would reject those who would be considered 'wild'...the term 'hypocrite' comes to mind. Others gave me such a title, and they are not here. Lead by example, yes? If it was capable of feeling what I felt, it would know that I was no human. Striding closer into the shade of the buildings, I intended to clarify my intentions with the mounting inky darkness of my reach. He would find it difficult to stand on a ground that ate away at his very essence. I was curious what demons tasted like~ There was hope that the pain of remaining in my web would encourage him to leave. I was very uncertain if I could actually best such a monster in close combat, hoping I would win out through attrition, alone.

From the wreckage and flames of the Hunter's guild, a smoky, dark green mass slowly floated up into the air from a charred, wooden corpse, pulsating with a black light. It paused for a moment, then drifted slowly out of the Gold Village, over the chaos below. It kept drifting towards the forest, the wind seemingly having no effect on it. The smoke melted into a tree, and for a moment, it looked like there was something moving under the bark. The wood shaped and bent itself outwards, coloring to a light red, creating a humanoid form, around six feet tall, dark leaves sprouting up at the joints of the arms and legs, and clawed hands forming from the ends of the arms. Branches snaked out of the back of his head, yellow leaves sprouting at the ends, creating hair of sorts, and two dark eyes opened up, blinking slowly. Ocotl shook off bits of bark and dust as he turned around. Most of the tree's bark was gone, and it looked like someone had ripped apart the wood in the middle, leaving the tree a gnarled mess. The crown was completely gone, and He shook his head slightly, regretting having to destroy something part of nature. But it was necessary for his survival. He walked out of the forest, emerging on to a grassy plain just outside of Gold Village. He could see smoke rising from the center of the town. He tensed up, ready to eliminate whatever threat might be there, but just then, a dragon flew above him at an incredible speed, not even a form Ocotl could catch. There was nothing left for him to do at the Village, so he began to run towards the direction the dragon was going, the ground trembling under his footsteps. It didn't take Ocotl long before he could see a dense forest up ahead. Voices drifted out of the trees, but they were faint and distorted, as if he was underwater. He slowed down, and stopped just in front of a barrier. It was barely visible, but there were faint ripples in the air. The tree-demon closed his eyes and extended his hands, muttering a few words. Small plants erupted out of the ground, twisting and forming a sort of gate between outside of the barrier to the inside. He walked through the gate and snapped his fingers, and the plants seemed to burrow back into the ground, and the barrier was intact. Ocotl stepped carefully through the forest, the voices much clearer now. The forest began to thin out, and paths trampled in the dirt began to appear, with footprints of massive size. He paused briefly, staring at the prints. He looked ahead, then kept on walking. He emerged from the grassland to find a large village, secluded within the middle of the forest. There were dragons everywhere, both in compact and true forms. It was a sight he had not expected to find, and had not seen in many, many years. Recalling memories from years past, Ocotl walked through the village, looking for the black dragon he had seen earlier.

Insomnium Insomnium was currently wandering the village, sticking to the shadows as he slithered through the alleyways, though it was that effective due to his bulky frame, causing people to scream. He heard cries coming from a direction and curiously went to investigate, only to see a demon, for he could smell the dark scent that only their kind on the creature, attacking a bunch of the fleshy creatures, and even eating one. The smell of blood, the cries of the dying, and the sight of such an imposing opponent, were more than enough to send Insomnium into his berserker mode, his scales changing from their usually white to a deep black with red edges, as he charged into the Demon, any flames the beast sent his way doing nothing as his thick scales and dense body protected him from such attacks. When he barreled into the creature he would open his maw and proceed to try and tear at the creatures flesh, eager to rend it's carcass to piece before turning on the other presences he noticed, hoping they'd provide good sport as well. @Lord Zee Nexias Nexias felt a presence moving through the shadows, definitely not a dragon. Interesting that something should be able to get passed the barrier, though it had been weakened recently, he decided to go investigate, slipping away in a puff of shadow towards where he sensed the being. Upon seeing the tree like creature, he quickly made his presence known, sipping out of a shadow in front of the creature, his purple eyes glowing with interest, insanity, mischief, and strangely enough, a good deal of latent rage. For if this being had come to attack his home, Nexias would be sure it's mind was so broken it would even remember how to breath, and it's body so twisted by his corruption that it would hardly be recognizable as a living thing. "Speak your business, tree man, or else I'll have to kill you, rather violently, for daring to think you could come into this village meaning it any harm, If you mean no harm, then follow me, I'll pretend to be your escort in and let you sate your curiosity, as long as you sate mine. I'm curious as to what the hell you are, as I don't think I've seen something like you before." @Dalyuk

Lynx felt the ground shake, and turned to where the psound if pounding came from. To his surprise, he saw a walking tree. He was extremely curious as to what it was, so he decided to follow the thing. He left his red fruit on the branch where he was sitting on before and went looking for foot prints, or root prints, to follow. He grabbed his sketchbook with his mouth he could document the creature when he caught up to him. With a few minutes of searching, he found the root prints of the creature. The seemed to be like wooden steaks, which impaled the ground with ease. He ran to where the tree creature was headed, knowing that it too probably moved with great speed. The farther he ran toward the creature, the more he could smell the presence on another demon. Was it the same demon? It couldn't be. The last one was most certainly not a tree, and the other one was attacking the the Gold Village still, if he remembered correctly. He continued to blindly run as he was lost in his thoughts. Suddenly, he face-planted into a barrier, causing him and his book to fly backwards. The book layed a few metres away from him, opened to a page with a dragon sketch: the only dragon sketch in his whole book. He got up with irritation as he picked up his book. He walked up to the barrier and could hear faint voices. With further inspection, he saw a pieces of what looked like dragons, though he couldn't tell because of the forest in the way. his eyes glistened with a child-like curiosity. He put his paw against the barrier to make sure the barrier was still solid, which it was. He groaned with annoyance, which was ironic because the current form he was in had an ever-lasting smile on its face. He hit the barrier harder, but nothing happened. He then had an idea, which he didn't think much through. He backed up a about 20 metres away from the barrier and caused an explosion on the forcefield, thanks to his destruction magic. It made an impressively loud boom, and a multitude of dirt and leaves flew everywhere, but the barrier stayed intact without a scratch. He walked back up to the barrier with a pondering look on his face, trying to figure out a way for him to bypass the forcefield. He ignored the crater in the ground next to him, although it was quite big.

Something was wrong. Abraxas sniffed the air, suddenly realizing that he was not alone in the market square. His feet gave out a sharp pang of pain, looking down he saw that the shadows beneath him seemed to be darker then usual. In turn he used his own shadow abilities to nullify the effects slightly, causing a throbbing in his feet. He looked around for the culprit, but his eyes came upon the hulk of a beast charging him. Reacting fast, he threw several small fireballs to dissuade the other demon but to no avail. Before he could step aside Abraxas was tackled into a building, the creature attempting to bite him. The small building collapsed in on itself from the weight of the two colossal demons, while the bite from it caused no damage as his hide was thick, covered in natural plates that worked the same as armor. He reared his head, "Dra ga dowlry menian cra krumpa!(You will not survive this fool!)" His voice spoke deeper then most, in the ancient tongue of demon. The his spike blades collapsed back into his top wrists, his hands bursting into flame and he attempted to punch the thing in the head, while trying to get up on his feet.

Keepa took a few steps, skipping at a point in his pace while checking his new prized posessions. The watches read 2:54 and 9:39, ticking along in pseudo synchronization. The merchant hadn't taken the time to fix his wares, although the numbers means little to Keepa, he was just glad he had his new toys. On that note, the fight was starting to escalate with the addition of a new contender. This one wasn't as intruding as the first and the liar was hesitant to feed off of them as well, serving the purpose that Keepa could not. ~~~~~ "Dra-so'iraas, menain ir ol!" (You're wasting your time, survive and run!) I chirp through the chaos, closing my eyes to spare myself from the annoyingly blinding light of the sun as it bit through the allyway. It was all such a waste of the beautiful architecture of the city, but it was one that was being made and I felt fortunate that I didn't have to clean it up. With a smile, I held one hand out to the shade I had exited, the mass returning and seeping through my shell to spill out into the next section. The hands of my watches spun, wildly and making a popping noise within one of the small machines that I'm certain would be the evening in attempts to repair. It would take a moment before my mass could resume feeding on...hmm...the two? I hadn't decided on this, yet. All I knew was that I wasn't done with the intruder. The thought occurred to me that announcing myself may not have been the best idea.

Insomnium couldn't get through the other demon's hide, but he didn't stop, he couldn't stop. His mind was gone, replaced by a berserker rage, When the demon's fist smashed into his head, he barely felt it, his rage too all-consuming. He took hold of one of the creatures arms with a clawed hand, intending to flip it over and smash it into the dust, but then he heard someone yell out in their direction. Immediately forgetting about the creature he had been attacking previously, he charged at the other one, letting out a roar as he went to smash it into the ground with a clawed fist.

Within moments, a shadow slipped out from the trees in front of Ocotl, a puff of darkness bursting in front of him. He stopped moving at the sight of the dragon in front of him. He was sure it was the same dragon he had seen flying out of the village. He had a dangerous glint in his eye, and Ocotl could almost feel the anger emanating from him. He hoped he would not have to fight this... dragon, as it would not be a battle he would win. "Speak your business, tree man, or else I'll have to kill you, rather violently, for daring to think you could come into this village meaning it any harm, If you mean no harm, then follow me, I'll pretend to be your escort in and let you sate your curiosity, as long as you sate mine. I'm curious as to what the hell you are, as I don't think I've seen something like you before." Ocotl shook his head, his eyes narrowing slightly. If this thought is shared by all dragons now, it seems I will have to leave sooner, he thought to himself. This dragon is full of rage, but seems just. I will have to see. "I do not wish dragons harm. I only would like to explore this place," he spoke, slowly and deeply. He looked around, an odd wisdom in his eyes. "I have not seen something like it for a very long time." He gestured to himself, joints creaking quietly. "My form is not a common sight. But its story is not something I would like to tell right now. I would like to know more about you, but if it is an escort you offer, please lead the way."

I took a few steps back as my challenge to the intruder was responded by the second. Not entirely my intention, although I suppose we are all animals in our own right. They were fast, a swiftness inversely proportional to their size. Throwing my watch arm out to one side I tried to reason, "My, you certainly are bigger up cl-" ~~~~~~ And that was all Keepa could manage before being mashed into the seams of the cobblestone which cracked with the force. Shards of porcelain flesh skipped across the ground from the impact, the only remains of the demon besides the black stain splattered across the ground...and all over Insomnium's fist. 'I suppose it could be worse' The hand and wrist, still bearing the two watches twitched as the inky darkness pulled itself from the fingers to cling to the other demon, rapidly beginning to engulf his arm. With every inch Keepa stretched, a cold numbness seeked to rob Insomnium of every ounce of their strength; maniacal retaliation for the assault. The darkness of the shadows that had once assailed Abraxas now turned on the new challenger, gradually converging and lashing at their legs. Hungering and pulling itself with purposeful speed...it had been quite a while since Keepa had felt genuine vindication. Vindictive in his aggressiveness that would leave any normal human reeling in agony within mere moments.

Sealameet sat with his sister within the walls of her crystal shop having said goodbye to the ever lovely Vesperia a few days before when she had a request come for her to return back to the lands where she had come for. Now that she was gone Sealameet wasn't sure what to do with himself for the time and sought out comfort with his relatives that were at the festival but most of it was with his sister. "You know I heard Tahamuyra has arrived," his sister said ",I saw him earlier today. Seems he was delayed for some time due to a few hunter's that had been in the way of his travel. Perhaps you should see him, staying here all day doesn't do you any good and I can take care of myself but you know that." "Perhaps you are right dear sister but that one dragoness will always be in my heart and it aches that she has left even before the festival has ended. She will miss out on some extraordinary events still to come as it ends and I wanted to show that her first festival could be the best," Sealameet replied with a sigh. "When have you become a romantic. You do indeed need to see eldest brother for now your very personality is changing," Lucatiel said and began prodding him to the door ",Now go before I make a crytal bat hard enough to hit you out and not break." ------ Tahamuyra was one of the grandfathers watching the displays of the younger dragons as they showed their skills and longed to become adults. He had attempted to get at the start of the festival but had been delayed due to human activity that he had to detour around that made the trip longer then he had hoped. At least now he was here. He had ran into one of his younger siblings. It was sometimes hard to keep track who he was related to especially in his family tree but she had a gift for crystal making and soon remembered her name and had a conversation with her before having to go do his duties as a grandparent. Part of the conversation was trying to convince him to find a mate of his own and have a clutch as she told him of some other sibling of his who was swooning over a young dragoness. She didn't outright say it but he could guess what she was doing. Now was not the time though for finding a mate though and with the recent events that had transpired that he was told of a few dragon's doing, it was better to keep a clear mind on the festival and keeping both eyes open for any signs of danger.

Insomnium At first, Insomnium was pleased, thinking he had killed his enemy, but then the splatter began to crawl up his arm, causing his fury to crow as he tried to get the muck off. He began smashing into buildings and dragging his arms through the ground in an effort to get the gunk of off him. If this failed, he would then begin to go back to beating the other demon, if it did succeed, he'd do the same thing. As he was doing all of this, Insomnium didn't notice in his rage the slow draining of his energy, too busy trying to remove the shadows from his arm. When he charged at the demon, he'd be noticeably slower, and his hits would be lacking about a fourth or so of their usual power, if not more. Nexias Upon the speaking of his true intentions, the demon would fins all anger and seriousness disaooear form it's eyes as it gave a sigh of relief. "Splendid, then don't mind if I give you the grand tour. I'll sate your curiousity, show you around, and maybe, i let you into my sacred order of the Chickens of the Night, but you must prove yourself for that. Oh, is that a kitty?!?!?!" Nexias zipped past the demon to appear before the strange grinning cat. While most would find it creepy, Nexias found it absolutely fascinating. "You are the best cat ever," Nexias whispered, switching to his compact form as he walked out of the barrier, grabbed the cat and brought it in with him. With cat in hand, he motioned for the tree man to follow with a skip in his step."Today has bee a wonderful day for sure, caused a little ruckus in town with my Chickens, met a mysterious tree man, and now I have a cat, awesome. Alright, come with me, tree man, and tell me your name if you want me to stop calling you that, and I promise you, I just might. Myu name is Nexias by the way, and your looking at the next GrandFather dragon off the tribe, that is almost a certantiy with skills like mine. That display of mine in town was merely the opening act." Nexias began to cackle like a mad man as he led his guest back towards the tribe, stroking the cat he held in his hands, feeling like such the evil master mind. Oh who was he kidding, he was an evil master mind and he loved it.

Upon seeing the eruption of a transformation from something in the dark alleyway to a large, rampaging demon, the dragon in her compact form figured she didn't want to involve herself in he mess, and turned her heels from the shocked ice cream seller to leave for her tribe. Syrilth knew there were many demons and dragons roaming around the human town, blending in among the humans. It was a good thing that she had already bought the ice cream she so wanted before the chaos ensued. She reached the outskirts of Gold Village, and was licking the ice cream. She was palpably surprised though, when she saw what looked like a humanoid tree stomping its way into the forest, making the ground vibrate beneath its heavy footsteps. She raised her eyebrows. It was quite a rare occasion that she'd see something like that. She decided to follow after it, plus it was also heading to the direction of where her tribe was, but was cut to the chase by a red-eyed, black and grey cat as it leaped off the branch of a nearby tree. Both their scents made it known to Syrilth that they were demons. After following the cat for quite a while, careful not to make any sounds, observing its movements, how excited it was, energetically running following the traces of the tree demon, Syrilth stopped about some thirty meters behind the familiar barrier surrounding her tribe, and hid behind a tree. She resorted to observing the cat's actions. Her ice cream had been finished long before, and at some point she threw the stick away while chasing after the cat. After watching a few failed attempts of it trying to break through the barrier, the last attempt being quite filled with effort, Syrilth decided to reveal herself to the cat demon. She clearly saw the disappointment in its figure. What piqued her interest though, was its sketchbook that had opened to a page with the drawing of a dragon. When she greeted the cat, though, another dragon in his compact form went out the barrier and picked it up, then went through the barrier again. This caused disappointment to arise in Syrilth. She sighed.

"Dra-so'iraas, menain ir ol!" (You're wasting your time, survive and run!), another voice spoke out from the shadows. Suddenly, just as it had come upon him, the other demon was gone. Abraxas stood up and looked where it was going, towards another figure in the distance, he guessed the one that spoke. He saw the events unfold, as the smaller figure was seemingly crushed then it's shadow grabbing on to the others arm. The resulting destruction as it tried to get it off was immense, as part of the street was destroyed and several buildings now were in ruins. Abraxas noticed that the shadows that had been bothering him earlier had run to this newcomer. Then the demon looked at his upright body, and charged at him once more this time noticeably slower. So he must be wearing down from this rage or it was the shadow sucking on his life force. Either way Abraxas was now in a favorable position and readied himself for the attack. His arms burst into flames and he pulled them far apart from each other, as if praying to a god and he spoke, "Gor, lok nal cutta ro!"(Now, become ash from flame!). His flaming arms then collided with one another and a torrent of flame spewed forth, going straight for the oncoming demons. The longer he kept it up, the weaker he would become, so after 10 seconds it would be over.

Lynx was extremely disappointed that he wasn't able to get into the barrier. He grabbed his sketchbook and went to leave, but was suddenly picked up by what seemed to him to be a human. Because of this, he didn't hear the greeting of the other dragon that had tried to speak to him. The human carried him through the barrier without a problem. He was eager to be able to go through the barrier and study the dragons, but this was overwhelming to him. He became extremely anxious. He was scared that the dragons hated demons, and if he were to be discovered, he would be toast. As the human carried him through, he saw the tree-creature standing in front of him. He could smell that it was a demon. He glared at the tree with suspicion, since he was still under the impression that all other demons were blood-thirsty murderers. He looked over to the town where the dragons were, and realized the human carrying him was actually a dragon. He smelled the person carrying him, and indeed did not smell like a human. As anxious as Lynx was about going into the town, rather than his safe-distance studying, he was also quite excited. He was curious to see what dragons were like in their homeland. Oh, the drawings he'll add in his notebook! He was grateful that he had a free tour-guide as well. What more could he ask for? He glared at the tree-demon again. He mentally swore that if the other demon would try to do damage to any of the dragons or the town, he would help stop him.

Ezekiel
It had only been three days, but the three days had proven themselves an adventure, to say the least. His mask was gone by the end of the first day, stolen by a curious child. He didn't mind enough to get it back. The dragon was perfectly content with the skull. Ezekiel even had a few of the young dragons convinced he was a ghost. Not that he went out of his way to do so, he simply went along with their initial thoughts. Albinism was a bitch to deal with, but sometimes it served him well. aside from the occasional mischievous dragon trying to take his eye patch, he didn't run into many problems. He respected the dragons against his presence, the looks they gave and the outright warnings, staying as far away from them as he could get; otherwise, he had been quite social. Still showing the utmost devotion to his god, but he wasn't about to pass up the chance to ask questions of dragons who would ask him just as many questions about himself and his own culture. He spent most of this time with the children and the teens, preferring the younger generations and their natural curiosity. The aging ceremonies themselves were incredible to behold. Even the younger dragons had more magic than Ezekiel had seen any human use, the hunters and their blasphemous equipment included. When it came to watching, he kept his questions to his god a minimum - He didn't need much information to devise the rest for himself. The historical and cultural value of the ceremonies was beyond him, but he understood the basics. The scraps of cryptic information a dragon enjoyed giving him ("One range, total freedom" and "A decade, reborn", to name a few) were finally falling into place as he observed proceedings. In the short time he had been with the tribe, Ezekiel had also learned about his own god. Draken was often one to be cryptic, and he respected the god's right to want to remain largely neutral in human affairs. Did that neutrality break when it came to him? Sometimes, when things got out of hand, but in the end Ezekiel was still largely responsible for his own actions, mostly only receiving abstract advice or the occasional warning. There were some odd rumors about the elder. Did he really kill his own father? While a strange thing to say, he wouldn't put it past his god to kill anyone who got in his way. An event he was connected to was brought up a few times when discussing the grandfather, to which the priest would only laugh. After all, was it really his place to tell everything? He felt it better to keep some things at rumors. "Makes sense. So being a grand-grandfather can be considered more of a hassle than its worth?" He asked Draken, leaning to his god. Ezekiel was always cold, as his multiple layers of clothes proved. As he idly looked around he made it a point to avoid eye contact with the dragons he knew were against his being there. He didn't need to start anything that could be loosely called a fight. Of course, any dragon here could kill him, so maybe calling it a fight wasn't fair. There would be problems for everyone in that situation, but it still wasn't worth challenging the dragons.
Milhoro
Everyone was in such a hurry to leave. It's not like Milhoro couldn't understand why. Being trapped for so long could make one stir crazy. He even found himself losing his patience, near the end. The hunters threw a lot of bullshit at him, and it got old, fast. But that was all over now. He thought about his village, and what had become of the social order he had painstakingly perfected over the years. It all probably went to hell. The thought of it was frustrating, but he was sure nothing happened that he couldn't fix, that he couldn't restore to a proper order. If it took another century-long lesson of teaching the masses why questioning him was a bad idea, then so be it. There were screams coming in all directions, abominations running to the outside in any direction possible as he calmly glided out of his cell. It was a symphony, fit to perform to the Great Ones themselves. Milhoro had always held faith in his fellow demon, today reminded him why that was so. Most of the complex had fallen, and the parts that were still standing weren't long to stay that way. However the demon fought against his brothers and his sisters to explore what parts he could get to. The hunters had valuable information, and he wasn't going to leave before at least attempting to see what he could. The effort proved largely futile, except for the few scraps of data on other demons. They were left rather carelessly; the man in charge must have been in a hurry to get out. Figures, that humans would be so cowardly. They had names on the ones that they could manage to get the names from. Besides that, there wasn't much. It would be too easy if he could find valuable information on what would surely become his aggressors soon enough? Accepting the lack of useful info and cutting his losses there, Milhoro headed out of the underground. Bright. God, was it bright. Had the Earth always been like this? Fifteen years never felt like much to him, but apparently his body felt otherwise. Once he had adjusted to his surroundings, he noticed a few stray demons still climbing out of the ruins, confused, one could almost say scared. They were feral, of a lower class. Poor things. But Milhoro had bigger things to concern himself over than the ones who had lost their minds, and whether they had the unfortunate circumstance to be born like that, or if the hunters had driven them to it. The fire and ruins he stood in would hold significance to him - A cleansing, a new point to be rid of the vile injustice the humans had done unto him. Soon the screams from his companions and the screams of rage and hatred separated themselves. He headed towards the latter, figuring he would observe more there. It looked to be a very pretty, orate marketplace. At least, at one point it was probably that. The market square was shaping up to become like the prison in which they had just escaped. Milhoro made sure to stay clear of the demons' strife. So violent, right off the bat. Figures. In his opinion, he thought it better to save his anger and his energy on the humans that deserved it, fighting the brothers of the empire would get them nowhere. "An vitroc." (How trivial.) He couldn't say he wasn't impressed with them, though he was sure they could certainly be doing better.
