-Everyone can have as many character as they want. The only limit is to give each one enough love and post. -To apply for a character fill out the character sheet. I am on daily, so most you will wait is a day, blame the time zones. -Use the ooc to talk about your characters and maybe involvement in some plot ideas. -Be imaginative and have fun. -Posting order, there isnt one the only request I have is to wait 2 other people to post before going on again. Intro

In the world Angenus, inhabited with many different species from pixies up to Cyclops one species wields the most powerfully magic of them all and that are the dragons. No other specie has the chance to kill a dragon who awaits the fight. But to be fair demons come a close second. There is always a exception, one weak species able to handle much stronger creatures than them self, its name 'humans'. Humans with their steam machines and weak magic learnt to kill the dragons. Create machines that captures various magical beings, and even made experiments to harness the magical energy from them. Using this energy in their weapons and armor to further enhance themselves. From the dragon bones structures are built that never break down, from the dragon teeth tools are made that never become dull, from the skin protection and shield are build that never rip in front of the nature,from the blood and organs magic items are made of great power and as last from the dragons meet and fat medicine that heal and improves the strength of the one eating it. Most dragons dispute humans for this ability of adapting and learning. Feeling that even if the hunting doesnt bring death that often to dragons it still worries them. Making the prideful creatures return to the safety of the many tribes around the world. Because the tribe is shielded with a powerfully shield, that hiddes it to the humans eyes and uninvited guest. It was believed that only together with a dragon you can enter and leave the shield, but some magical beings are able t trick the shield into letting them in. Even so not all humans are liking the idea of killing this powerfully beings.Fearing revenge of the creatures that destroyed countries out of a impulse. Some are saying they are gods and should be worshiped, finding in the far lands temples where the dragons use humans as their slaves, till churches where dragons protects the humans. There are humans who speaks that the dragons are the root of all evil with their powers to destroy so much with their magic and should be killed, wiped from the face of earth. There are humans who are driven by curiosity towards those ancient beast and want to learn and understand them... Some wish for alliances with dragons as they believe it would give them unbelievable power. But the dragons arent that different either they are curious towards the human world, or fearing it as root of all evil that wish their death or control over them and some say that peace is possible. The demons are on the other side beast unique and rare. Most dragons and humans barely heard of demons even less saw a demon with their own eyes. The lack of their numbers compared to dragons is what makes them often forgotten and overseen. The demons culture is a mystery but there are gossips that they are just as stubborn and lone wolfs as dragons. Like any gossip it may or may not be true.

CAbout Dragons

Dragons Appearance

Normal form is what you usually think when one say dragon. Any dragon you can come up with is allowed, well it has to resemble a dragon in one way or another. //examples: Want a dragon 10m big, its ok. Want a dragon as small as a bunny with scales and cute dragon wings, its ok. Want a furry in water living asian shaped dragon its ok too. etc... // Compact form Is what it sound like a compact form of a dragon their second face. In lot of cases if not all the compact form is human alike, with a mistake or two that resemble their dragon form. Those mistakes are often covered with human wear. //examples: A dragon having a girl like appearance but has a smaller version of the horns peeking under the hair. Or the dragons compact form has its chest covered in scales. Or maybe the feet arent those of a human but are shaped like the dragon feet. etc...// This form appears after a freshly born baby dragon reaches 100 days. They transform in the compact form. Every dragon older then 100 days is able to do it. There are great individuality in the behavior of the compact form. Some compact form ages with the dragon age, some age reversely and some have one compact form, one appearance for their whole life. While other age only a few years, their first form being for example 25 year old man, that over the life of the dragon age up to 35 and stops.

Dragons Age

Magic is a extremely important life aspect of dragons so much that they dont give a penny about the human years. They have their own way of counting age that describe how powerful of magic they have. Each dragon can sense this level naturally. Every 10 humans years there is a ceremony The festival in these days the dragons can show off their magic in front of others and officially be recognized that they got older. Of course the aging can be very individually too. The dragons can tell by the look at one another which age they are. //examples There can be 750 human year old baby And 20 human year old adult. Some dragons improve so fast in their magic ability that they jump over a age or two. etc...// The Ages

• Baby Only able to change into their compact form, doesnt show off any other magic abilities.
• Child Small magic burst, often uncontrolled magic, weak magic.
• Teen Stronger magic then children can get at times out of control, but able to do a lot more tricks and things. Time when dragons explore what can they do with their magic.
• Adults Stronger magic then teen able to do lots with their magic, nearly never lose control over it. They are able to give birth to dragon eggs
• Grandma/Grandpa High class magic, tend to teach the young ones who ask them. Help in protection of dragons and tribes. Can give birth to dragon eggs
• GrandGrandma/GrandGrandpa Miracle magics, magic that can rip up continents, cause a whole land to sunk in darkness or dry out a ocean. The most powerfully dragons, often considered to be the leader figures, can teach the young who ask them. Most time spend in the tribe as their magic powers feed the old spell that protect and hides the tribe from harms way. Cannot give birth to dragon eggs because of their magic strength, the magic overloads the egg destroying the egg before its done.

Dragon Eggs

Dragons do not have genders. Any dragon can make a egg with any other. The gender they take on when turning into the compact form, may reflect they personality, may not mean anything. The dragons do not stay pregnant. When they mate the magic of two dragons and their showing love is what creates the egg out of nothing. The dragons can mate in both of their forms. There is great variation in both sizes and coloration of the eggs, which depends on the magic influence of the parents. The baby doesnt have to have any magic similarities to its parents. There is no strict time of the eggs incubation, or the needs of the egg. Each egg takes its own time to hatch and some need to be in cold, while other prefer heat, some like the water and some do not need any attention. Dragons by touch the shell of the egg can sense what does the egg needs and want. But there is a believing in the dragons folk, which says:The longer the hatching takes the stronger the born dragon. Some eggs hatch withing days some takes 1000 years, some appear never to hatch. When it comes to parenting some dragons are the most dotting mothers while others prefer to leave the egg in the tribes nursery for caretaker. Neither is being judged on. So a baby dragon may have never meet their parents, while others grow up with one or both of them. The nursery in each tribe drifters, but most are having some underneath the earth complex in which some of the eggs needs can be meet. Obliviously if the egg needs the fresh air, sun, moon or star light it will be taken care off over the earth level. The nursery is always attracting some dragons, who take care of all the eggs. Or take care of it for some time before leaving it.

Morals

Lets call it Morals. 1. Each dragon life is the most precious and has to be protected. 2.Each dragons chose and free will is to be respected as long as it doesnt endanger a dragons life 3.Each dragon can chose how to life his life. 4.Each dragon is unique and is loved for it. Some guidelines, often given out by the GGM/GGP -Babies shouldnt ever leave the tribe, on their own. -Children can only leave in the company of a teen or older. -Teen and older are free to come in and out of the tribe as they wish. -Humans are forbidden to be taken to the tribe (a rule that was mostly violated in the recent times) //Examples You see because the dragons free will is important, and there are dragons who are human obsessed or human loving, you can see in the tribe a human house while beside it a dragon sleep under his tree. Or random human object that some dragon took in the tribe. Well each object is controlled over by the oldest to make sure not a single one is a tracker or something to dis-spell the tribe protection. Well that wouldnt stop the more traditional dragons to frown over this human things, but they respect and just nag about those.//

The Tribe

There was only one tribe at the begging of the time. The big tribe surrounded by high mountains. Times werent idle and peacefully, in opposite there was a war between dragons for the wish to rule and not be ruled. It was a just hatched dragon with great power that challenge every dragon there was and in less then 100 days from its birth he won against everyone, his magic a miracle. He changed his body to a young person, surprising the beast around, declaring that he is the oldest dragon. He taught every dragon the respect for each other and gave them free will to live how they wished for. He shared his secrets of transformation giving ever dragon a second form, but even his magic couldnt make them perfect to his own second form. Some bits of the beast remained. Given the free will to do what each wanted many explored the world but every ten years their would hear the voice, a soft whisper, a tug on their heart, calling them back, to their first home to celebrate life and its flow.

That tribe is the tribe where the Festival is being hold. Each tribe has at least one grandgrandma/grandgrandpa that feed the shield their magic just by living there. This shield is like a bubble imagine the magic that hide Hogwarts for comparative. Humans would just not be able to come close on their own. At least not with out a dragon leading them in. At the time where this rp will start there are many tribes, but they all migrate for the festival over to this one. Well each dragon choose is if they will come or not. Each tribe has a nursery where its taken care of the eggs, some dragons choose to live in the tribe some not. The tribes are pretty big and have many variation in housing. Caves trees houses, etc. In the tribe our rp will happen there is a natural arena, surrounded by 3 sides by clifs and for more info look at location guide.

The Festival

The festival is really important for the dragons. The duration of the festival varies from the time to time but it never shorter then a week and never longer then 4 weeks. This time is when the biggest egg boom happens too. Because dragons from all around come in this time of celebration finding a partner is much more successfully. The main part of the festival is the Aging ceremony. Each dragon that chooses comes with his momentary age group and does one of two things to be considered older. 1. Show off their magic. 2. Challenge a dragon that is a age group over them. In 1 they have to impress, get approved by most grandgrandma/pa that are there. In second the grandgrand choose the dragon against who they will fight, but they may accept a volunteer as the opponent. The fight last till one surrenders or one is K.O. if a dragon endangers the life of the other the GG will interrupt. Falling the Aging isnt considered too bad, its like failing a exam there is always the next time.

Magic

What sort of magic does dragon wield? Well 90% are element based, 10% are not. So having a for example a water manipulating dragon is common, but a necromancy dragon is rare. Some of the dragons can wield more then one type of magic. So a dragon wielding earth and snow can be found on occasion but a dragon wielding telekinesis and animal control is super super rare. Most dragons just think and the magic happens some thought use poems, hums and words to help them keep their magic under control. I will ask you guys not to just say water magic but to explain what he exactly do with the water magic, does he turn the water into balls and shot them use it as a whip, evaporate it etc. And if you deiced to be able to create life from example light butterflies that allow you to see far away, then be aware that they will die fast as in within hours and cannot be complexes life forms.

HumansAndTheVilligeCloseToTheDragonsTribe

Humans are on a steam-punk level with some magic uses and included. When dragons sneak about they will be dressed like them too, obliviously. The place that is relevant for this rp is close to our dragons tribe, it is The Gold village that, has grown into a small city by this days. A dragon can reach it in less than 30 minutes flying, some fast flying ones can reach it even quicker. Gold Village has a hospital, airship hangers and airport, a academy on which beside other things dragons are studied. A parliament, a house specially intended for public debates on topics that the people of the city worry about. Check the location guide. There is a semi big market where one can find food, cloths all and everything including merchandise made from dragons body. There are many bars who serve alcohol and even do not say a word about a dragon being in their establishment as long as he pays, if he doesnt pay well, a dead drunk dragon is a easy kill and worth a several million. The currency are paper money. (For some feeling for the worth lets say the money is short called mon and for 100 mon you get 1 dollar.) In the Gold Village there is 'The Hunters' guild specialized in killing dragons seeing them as beast ready to eat humans for dinner. Now the building lays in ashes. And just because, we have on the other street side a small church housing a exiled powerful dragon. Who tends to be more interested in doing what he wants then bothering himself with the hunters.

Demons

Demons are rare beings. There is little known about the demon society if there is any. Most belies about demons comes from rumors. Most saying the demons arent native to this world, while others just say not native to the known countries. So because of the lack of information feel free to make any character and give them what ever you see fit~ Have fun creating the demons lifes.

Location Guide

Dragon tribe

- Crystal shop A shop belonging to the crystal making dragon Lucatiel. You can get gems and crystal figures, and as of recently ever ice figures made by Winter. -Waterfalls A place where most dragons relax, and enjoy themselves.One can find many plates and bushes with food brought by various dragons. It is a nice spot for being romantic, too. Or simply cleaning one self. -Training grounds A place full of the children and teens who work on their magical powers. Often overseen by some adult or older, to ensure things dont get out of control. It has a water, earth air, bonfires and even various metallic items, to allow any magic form to train. -Aging Arena The dirt arena where the aging of dragons happen. Surrounded by a few rows of seats carved in the high cliffs that loom over the place. From 3 sides the cliff are hugging the arena. Countless caves are carved in the sides turned towards the arena. Not only used to watch the aging, but used as a housing for the many dragons who come to the Festival. -Forest north of the tribe A thick forest used as a hunting ground but the dragon who prefer meat. But one can find fairies and pixies in them. One can get easily lost if you arent familiar with it, or a pixi is playing tricks on you because of boredom. -Nursery A place that is full of eggs and babies and occasionally child. It has a great under earth complex that proctet various eggs, while the over earth was influenced by dragons who spend time taking care of the babies and eggs. The outside While the insides are mostly empty, or filled with soft things intended to sleep on. In some rooms one can find even a bed or two. The bathroom is not working and the babies usually dont use the stairs but fly up to the floor where they want to be.

Dragon houses

-Chu house Its a small house where a compact form can enter to see the staris that lead to the basement where is where chu lives. Filled with trinkets, the floor is earth. Under it there are many many tunells hididng the hords of this dragon. Just big enough for a bunny to get in and out. -Aster home Aster's home that resides away in a secluded forest away from humans and dragons. Not too far of flight from the tribe but outside the barrier.

Gold Village

A town where humans live unaware of their dragon neighbors and visitors. Well mostly unaware. -Gold Plaza The central of the town, all street leads to it. Its the old part of the town, in the middle a big fountain -Open sky market Its a plateau where many stands are build up and selling many various goods. Legal and illegal. -Shopping mail Here are the more trustworthy shops located. -Skyport A landing place and maintance for all the aircraft in passing. -Hunter guild Sinister Saints Hunters live and work here. The building it self isnt impressive, but underneath are catacombs and a maze like prison. Intended for dragons mostly. But can find other creatures who the hunters determine as dangerously. But only chosen hunters are allowed to walk in and out of it. Hunter Building Underground Hunter hideout/prison -Dragon Church A church for the ones who believe dragons are gods, and Humans will clean their souls if a dragon eats them. Its is just on the other side of the street from the hunter guild. -Happy drunk A bar in a darker alleyway. It offers its paying guest the private atmosphere of their own rooms, beside the usually bar style.

Chapter 1

[Silver Fox]

[hider=Aster] Name Aster Dragon age Adult Age from hatching 290 Gender Male [b][u]Magic[/b][/u] His magic consists of the mixture of the two elements, fire and water. He can breathe either element or both to create a steam breathe. He can manipiluate fire or water into floating swords, using them against any opponent he has. His water magic has the ability to heal wounds and even suck out poisons. Dragon looks: Large scar going from his right eye to the top of his right wing all the way across it. His scales are colorful, depending on how one looks at him, the scales can change from red, blue and purple. He's quite large, his body as long as 400 feet and being as tall as 500 feet. Two long dark colored curved horns curving slightly upwards. Has fur along his head, back and tail with the frills. Compact looks: Large scar going from his right eye down to his hip. Usually wears a light gray scarf to help cover his face. He has bright glowing purple eyes, and scales over his shoulders and chest. Stands around 5'8. Has long red hair going down to the middle of his back, though it's pulled in a neat low ponytail while the rest of his hair is messy and a little spikey, covering his oddly purple eyes usually. Personality Aster is more of a reclusive dragon, preferring to be by himself. He doesn't talk much and acts pretty cold most of the time, but in reality he is pretty lonely and has a kind heart. He's caring for his fellow dragons and most living things, even humans whom he's terrified of. He gets a bit bitter if someone makes fun of his flying. He's pretty cold to strangers, though is mostly nervous and shy to both humans and dragons alike. He enjoys swimming or just relaxing in a grassy field. Background Aster was a egg when he lost his parents. They lived in a secluded cave in the mountains, but they were killed by a ambush of human hunters. Taking the egg in their possession, they traveled to a human village, though they accidentally dropped it down a cliff. Luckily, the egg did not break, but their was a large crack on the right side of it. It had been a long 800 years since his parents birthed his egg, and it only took five more after his egg was taken. After he was hatched, it was noticed he had a large scar over his right eye and over his wing. A sign of the consequence of dropping him as a egg. The humans didn't mind since it most likely meant he would not be able to fly away from them. They kept him chained, and had him on display just to show what they accomplished. Poked him with shock sticks to make him obey and cracked spiked whips. How heroic they were for slaughtering a family and taking a mere newborn as a slave. As time went by, the young dragon tried calling, roaring for help, but none ever came from his own kind. They could not either hear him or they simply did not want to risk it. He did not know. Chained to the ground, and as much as he tried, his injured right wing would not carry him off he ground and it ached since the day he hatched. When his one hundred days hit, he turned into his compact form, and the chained collar was choking him. His compact form was bigger at the time and it wasn't a great moment for Aster as he just about suffocated. Just then though, a human boy perhaps in his young teen years came to him. Unlocking the chain. There was no time to ask questions as his odd savior quickly dragged him out, putting a cloak over the dragon. His captors did not seem to recognize him as their pet dragon, so they ignored them. For a couple of days, Aster stayed with the boy in a cave in the woods. The boy called himself Zafine. At the time Aster didn't have a name and merely shook his head in response, unsure how to exactly react to this situation. This boy was human, the creature that had tormented him all his life, but also his savior. Zafine decided to call him Aster, since his dragon form shimmered like a star. The boy then explained that Aster needed to go to the Dragon Tribe, where he'd be safe. Since Aster could not fly, he'd just have to walk in his compact form. Aster wanted to question how the boy knew so much, but couldn't find the words. So he left, journeying to the Dragon Tribe. It took perhaps ten years, in which his dragon form was about a teen. When he arrived they welcomed him, though the other young dragons made fun of him for being flightless. Pointing out that even the wingless skinny dragons could fly. Thankfully the elders were kind to him, one even helping him fix up his wing as best as they could. Even though, he's not the best flier and is prone to fall if it gets too exhausted. After five years of living with the Dragon Tribe and learning the customs of his kind as well as he a better flier, he found himself unsure where to go next. It felt odd being among fellow Dragons since he was not born amongst them, yet he feared humans for what they did to him. Yet at the same time he kept thinking back on that young human boy whom had saved his life. Deciding to risk it, he flew back to where Zafine had nursed him to health at that cave. Of course, the boy was not there, instead it was a full grown man. Age twenty-three in human years, a time in their prime apparently. Zafine was glad to see the beautiful dragon again, and greeted him with the same warmth he had showed as a boy. Aster found that he wasn't as afraid of this human... Perhaps the only human he did not fear. Staying at that cave, Aster lived mostly in his compact form, in fear that if any other human discovered him, they would kill him. His human comrade agreed, explaining that many hunters would adore his scales and sharp teeth and claws. A couple years passed and everyday Zafine would come visit the dragon. This was the only person Aster found he could properly talk with, even smile and laugh. They talked about how humans and dragons lived, their fears, their dreams.... Until Aster found himself falling into a great sin. Falling in love with a human. It was quite ironic really, living the thing he feared... Yet Zafine was different from his tormentors. He was kind, and full of life, even went out of his way to make the dragon laugh. It was wrong he knew, humans lived such tiny lives in comparison and their magic was much too small to produce a dragon egg... But he couldn't help it. He never felt lonely with this man around. So he accepted the fate of simply watching the human grow old, being with him until his last breathe. Aster chose to stay and watch as Zafine eventually found his own love with a beautiful human woman. Although painfully, he watched happily at his friend's happiness. After a few years, when Zafine was of thirty five years of age, he had his own children, a boy and a girl. Zafine happily showed Aster his family, and the children loved playing wih the dragon, though the wife was more wary. Eight years after the children were born, something grave happen. Waking up in the middle of the night, Aster saw fire coming from the village. Worried for his human friends he went into the village in his compact form, only to discover Zafine's home burnt into ashes, scorch marks everywhere. He found the bodies of Zafine, his wife, and boy child dead and burnt. Their daughter crying over them. At first, Aster was shocked at the sight before he heard a mighty roar in the skies. Looking up he saw a huge adult dragon raining hellfire upon the terrorized village. Shock and surprise soon passed into utter rage. Transforming into his true self, the young Dragon flew into a furious rage and confronted the other dragon in battle. It was a difficult battle considering he was still a teen and he sustained quite a bit of injuries, he managed to drive the other dragon off. After it was over, he took Zafine's surviving daughter and flew off to a safer place. At the age of fifty he became a adult and left to live on his own by a lake, where he raised the human girl until she was old enough to be on her own, before leaving her in a human village to live amongst her own kind. Although she disputed the idea, Aster refused, insisting she was better off with other humans before leaving. Over the years, he does check how the family of the human whom he once loved are fairing, though he is mostly forgotten, the humans he knew long dead. Recently, he was captured by human hunters, but rescued.[/hider]

Damia

Name Damia Dragon age Child Age from hatching 150 Gender Female Magic Still being a child, Damia cannot do too much magic. She manages to make the basic dragon breath. The left head breathes a light green sparkling mist that gives a calming aroma that has minor healing factors and blooms flowers. Her right head breathes a more foul odar that can be suffocating if one breathes it in too long, as well as turns plants that breathe in enough into a more intellectual plant creatures. Dragon looks Damia is two headed dragon with a body like a snake and large set of wings just two feet below the split between the heads. She is a long dragon, about 30 feet long, but she isn't the biggest of dragons. Compact looks She stands around 5'0 and her scales are on her forehead, which she covers with her head band. Personality Damia is a bit of a odd sort, having a slight split personality. Most of the time, she's energetic and friendly to others. Eager to meet and greet with her fellow dragons amongst the tribe. Other times she is challenging and even violent, eager to to grow and be a mighty full grown dragon. She's adventurous, and enjoys exploring around the lands, but does not stray too far from the Dragon Tribe, not completely willing to meet with any confrontations like humans. Her heads tend to represent her inner thoughts. He left being the more friendly, do what's right, the right head being more ruthless. For example, with humans the left wouldn't want to hurt them, thinking maybe some are good, while the right would wonder how they would eat and notes they should rip them apart. It's like having the constant angel and devil on the shoulder banter. Background Damia was hatched into the tribe in the rookery amongst many other Dragon eggs. Her parents often being adventurous and flying off into other lands, meeting with other Dragon Tribes. Whenever they returned, they would share glorious tales of their adventures. Explaining different cultures some tribes had, as well as the intriguing news on the humans. Humans evolving with such odd knowledge with their technology and culture of their little wars. Some tales shining light upon them, some making them out to be savage monsters. The other dragonlings teased her a bit for her two heads, since multi headed dragons were a bit rarer, but she either ignored them or snapped at them to be quiet. She dreams of being flying out on her own like her parents, but for now she settles with bugging the older dragons in telling her tales. Especially during the Dragon Festival.

Myrtle Harbird-Flower the Human

Name Flight Officer Myrtle Harbird-Flower Mary or Hary to friends. Age 22 Job Engineer/Pilot/Researcher Looks Background & Personality Myrtle is a outgoing and adventurous individual who loves to travel in the skies. She likes deeming herself to be the best pilot around as well as the best one to fix up a skyship. One could call her a bit weird, since she often talks fast mostly about tech and gets overly excited in anything related to it and flying. She's a bit bold, not afraid to get into peoples faces or to drag them into something. Overall though, she's kind hearted and is willing to help out others in whatever way she can. Even if her way may not be the correct way. Tends to joke around a lot. As a little girl, she's always dreamed of being in the skies. Her grand mother telling stories of a mighty creature called a dragon whom had raised her until she was old enough to be on her own. How it was to fly through the skies with the wind blowing through her hair. Although finding a dragon and flying by them would be a dream come true, Myrtle wanted to be able to fly on her own as well. So she studied hard in the city when she was just a young teen in engineering and piloting a skyship. Working hard enough to become a professional at the young age of sixteen. But her quest for knowledge never ceases as she researches ways to make skyships better, and to improve human transportation. What better way then to research dragons? Myrtle was working one day, pondering on plans before remembering her grandmothers tale on the Dragon. She told her tales that there were several different kinds of dragons. Some using wings to fly, some even just using magic to fly, though she herself had never seen them. If this was true, then perhaps there could be a way to improve skyships. Though humans had not nearly close enough magic talent to a dragon, some specialized in it and perhaps researching the creatures would overall assist in human lives. So she set off to search for the dragon her grandmother had lived with. A difficult search indeed, but thanks to some descriptions on the creatures habits and looks, as well as a skyship... She eventually managed to find him. Plot Idea For years, humans have been living well off their flying machines for travel as well as using weapons to hunt, but their resources are a bit dwindling, making it more difficult to use their machines efficiently. Myrtle hopes to learn from Dragons, the creatures who are long lived and most likely hold the greatest knowledge in many manners such as magic, a potential resource that could be used to assist powering the machines. As well as possible trading partners. But to know someone of such a different culture, one must be full in it. What better way to learn but by being right in the middle of dragon social life and customs revealed in a festival? And if dragons wish, they could come and do the same in the human world. Of course hiding their identity since humans freak out a lot. Good luck to Myrtle hiding dragons in the city though.

Draken

Name: Draken Dragon age: Grandpa, almost Grand Grandpa Age from hatching: 2,000 Gender: Male Magic: Dream/Nightmare. He has the ability to reveal someone's strongest fear. Sucking them into a world contorted from their absolute terrors. So much so it can lead someone in tears and his dreams are so lifelike, someone can feel what happens to them. If one is burning, they feel the horrors if burns, the smell of smoke and rotting flesh... As well, he can make pleasant dreams... And trap someone into a pleasant slumber for all eternity if they do not wish to escape such a wonderful dream. His breathe can be a black fire, or a strange mist that lulls someone to sleep. He's powerful enough to place cursed over countries, rain hellfire, and make some dreams a reality Dragon looks: Compact looks: Stands around 6'8. He has red eyes and horns curving from his head and scales along his ears. Almost always wears a black hooded cloak. Personality: A pretty odd elder dragon and a powerful one at that, he pretty much does what he wants. Seeming neutral when it comes to humans and dragons. He still attends the dragon festival, and is known to be a bit mysterious if not a bit mischievous. He seems to play by his own rules, messing with others in his own way. He gives information of both dragons and humans but not enough to be threatening to either race, seeming to do both harm and good for both. He loves eating humans, and used to burn down villages in his younger years, but now he seems content relaxing a bit more and getting free meals from Dragon Churches. Enjoys playing with riddles and tricks and messing with younger dragons, and he can come off as mean and cruel sometimes, until he actually helps out which can often confuse others of his intentions. Can sometimes show a strange kindness to others. He's often playful and teasing. Although he seems to keep a cool head most of the time, he does tend to be possessive in what he considers his and youngsters seeming not to realize that fact. Background: Draken's hatching took around 1,000 years, and he aged to adult at fifty. In his younger years of teens and as a adult, he often went and burned down villages, gulping down humans as he went. Humans being his favored taste. His attacks calmed though and soon he stopped at the age of 100 when he turned into a grandfather. The humans of the Dragon Church made a deal with him, serving as one of their gods and in return he would receive peace and meals. Even those of humans that were meant to be executed. He agreed, deciding relaxing would be good for him. The dragon hunters took interest of a dragon so nearby, but could not use the old dragon for their needs, being protected by the church. So instead they wished for his assistance against his own kind. Draken sort of agreed, telling what sorts of dragons they caught were and the rules, but never revealed the location of any dragon homes or the dragon tribe, frustrating the dragon hunters with his little of help. Though when a dragon does attack where the town he is currently residing in, he will go out and protect it, so the hunters have little to complain about. In turn though, Draken attends the festivals and reveals some information he has on humans to his own kind, but also not revealing too much. Seeming to find this almost a amusing game. Or simply another test for those he meets. Who can say? He has a few hatchlings in his years, one of them being Damia.

Syrilth

Dragon

Name: Syrilth Dragon Age: Adult Age from hatching: 300 Magic: Shadow Magic Syrilth can manipulate and produce shadows by will. The shadows produced are able to be utilized in several different ways, allowing for a high level of adaptibility; the shadows are able to be released in freeform, as condensed, or even molded into the shape of a weapon, taking on the properties of said chosen shape. Ice Magic Syrilth is able to produce large quantities of ice from her body in order to attack her opponents. With this magic, she is able to quickly form a great variety of ice structures that are suitable for a diverse range of purposes, no matter if the nature of these circumstances require offensive or defensive purposes. Syrilth would also mix the two magics. She could create a condensed ball of shadows that would explode and have ice shards shooting out of them to the opponent, or also produce a roar incorporating both shadows and ice. Dragon and Compact looks: A rather small dragon in comparison to other adults, Syrilth stands at 50ft, with black scales below the white fur. Syrilth has a pair of large, black scaled wings, the top part having additional white fur. The compact takes the form of a 16 year old female human at 5.3ft, and it ages quite slowly. The compact also has black scales from her shoulders down to the elbows, which Syrilth usually covers with long sleeves. Personality: A quite powerful dragon, Syrilth is quite humble. She's a dragon who would only approach another dragon when necessary and rarely makes friends, except when they approach her. She enjoys both solitary moments and those of company. For her lack of friendliness, she doesn't have that many friends save for a few, but she appreciates that lot. She is an understanding dragon and you could rant about your problems to her, she won't bite. Although if she was angered before or is in an irritable mood, that's not a good course of action. Also, Syrilth likes flying and swimming, they're the two relaxing things that calm her down. Background: Raised in the wild under her parents' care, it took her 100 years to hatch. As a child, she was still taken care of by her parents. They taught her various things- flying, swimming, hunting, controlling and developing her magic, etc. They also instilled morals and values in her. When she had come to love her parents and grown rather fond of them though, they disappeared on her one night, leaving her to fend for herself. They were gone when she woke up. It was saddening and infuriating, but she still understood their intentions. She ended up travelling around the world as a growing child, with no clear intention except to explore and find out new places, avoiding the eyes of hunters. She does occasionally come and go from the humans' cities in her compact form. She also met many dragon tribes in her travels, but at one point set up her home in one that she quite liked its location and inhabitants' company. She still travels, but returns back to her home whenever she wants to, and is now a full-grown adult.

Demon Name: Abraxas, "Man's Bane" Age: 50 Personality: Abraxas is a mysterious entity, who is a conflicted creature. He can be animalistic at times with little reasoning and is aggressive, preforming acts of violence quite frequently. He is naturally a malevolent creature but can be reasoned with. Due to his imprisonment he has a deep hatred for humans but knows nothing of the outside world. He has a corrupting influence on magic and those that get too close. Looks: Alternative looks: Has none yet. Background: He was born in a place far away, to parents who abandoned their offspring. His siblings were either eaten or killed within the first couple of days, for only the strong survived. By chance he was set upon by the hunters not a week old, yet already as large as a big dog. They captured him, as he was not yet dangerous enough to pose a threat to challenge their safety. Abraxas soon learned the cruelness of the humans as they frequently lashed out at their captives, deeming them inferior, lower then dragons. He wondered what a dragon was, and if it could be eaten with one gulp. Months later, and now as large as a man they arrived at the prison in the darkness of night. The journey itself was harsh and his cage was covered with a black cloth to hide him from the sun and prying eyes. Every time he tried to escape his confinement, he found that the bars burned his skin at the lightest touch but it didn't stop him from trying. Days became weeks, weeks turned into months and the passing of time blurred into years. Throughout those years he grew into a formidable demon, the size of an upright grizzly bear, looking down upon the guards always. His brute strength made him deemed dangerous, and instead of moving him to a different cell, they built a larger, more durable one around the old. That was until his metamorphism began around the age of 25. It would last for another 25 years, changing his body slightly, making him become infused with dark magic. This magic was of flame and shadow, and deadly to those that would incur his wrath. The shadow was about him at all times, and the flame he could call upon at will. It engulfed him, wrapping around his body like a blanket, free flowing. It was dark and it suited him for upon his awakening, he found things in ruins, the prison that once contained him in flames. He broke free from his old confinement and clawed his way up to the surface. The light blinded his glowing blue eyes and when they adjusted he saw a strange place, full of rock towers and thick layers of fog. He walked away from the rubble, quickly coming to a street full of humans and their devices. His revenge had begun, yet in this world he did not know, there were creatures more dangerous then humans.. Did they escape the hunters prison?: Yes

WIP Name: 'Scaleless' Keepakura the Liar Age: 24 Personality: Keepa comes off as a charismatic sweetheart, interested in others' doings and especially human culture. Kind and elegant in their tact to the point of bordering the uncanny valley with their often lack of reaction to hostility and hatred. Its suspected that this is mostly a ruse to lure in prey which ended up being defining characteristics of their personality out of instinct and habit. When threatened, Keepa shows the stark two-face of his coined behavious; violent and vindictive, determined to extinguish even the potential of ongoing threat to themselves and whatever they may care about. As a dragon, this is the sort of behavior that gives them a bad name. As a demon, such behavior classifies Keepa as 'wild', a shunned ranking of caste from his homeland which regards him as predictable as a starved, crazed dog. As a human, hes seen as a liar and a murderer. In all reality, he would rather be left alone, although his nature and physiology compels him to seek out life. He isn't bad, per se, just built poorly for the civilized world...or built perfectly for it. The judgement is mostly left to interpretation. Magic-like Abilities - Keepa has a refined control of life energy, mostly for the purpose of consumption and personal perseverance. The process is similar to a leech, although the rate is controllable on some levels. With a max range of about five meters and a max effectiveness with skin-contact, affected individuals feel a slight sense of exhaustion which grows from prolonged exposure (1 hour feels like 2, 2 hours feel like 5). This can be suppressed at will, although Keepa lives off of others, parasitically and the thought of stopping doesn't often occur. This can be applied to all living beings, though it functions considerably slower on plants then it does other living creatures. = While absorbed energy is added to their mass, it is possible for Keepa to reverse-burn his own mass into a subject for the purpose of healing even nearly fatal wounds. However, this consumes a considerable amount of mass in order to 'sew' life back into the subject, piecing them back together or replacing lost flesh. Wounds healed in such ways are stained with jagged black scars that eventually fade over the course of a week to a month depending on the severity. With the mass required to heal severe wounds, Keepa may not be able to fully heal a subject without taking on considerable mass from outside sources in the process. This is a procedure which has not been often implemented and is highly inefficient.

Human appearance

Standing at 170cm (roughly 5'5ft), the skin of his human form has little give and has a strange porcelain smoothness to it.

Dragonoid Appearance

Taking the appearance of an adult dragon with ink black skin with a brilliant smooth sheen as if devoid of scales. While in this form, a light black mist continuously drifts from their figure, slightly obscuring themselves if they stood still long enough.

True Form

The rippling dark mass which Keepa is made from shrinks and grows with the tide of energy they consume. In their true form, their magic is at its most powerful although the light of the sun (and other lights to a far lesser degree) burns away their mass. This is The only way the humans have found to contain Keepa, by shining spotlights on his human form day in and day out to discourage the use of this form. Fire is a functioning substitute, Keepa is otherwise highly resilient to most elemental and physical damage.

Where I am from? Hrm. That is the wrong question to ask, as I am faraid I have no feelings for that nameless land. They...had rather I left, I suppose you could say. Hmm...yes..no, I would not be here if I could be there as I am sure you understand. Heh heh~ It has been a while since I've had any company. If you don't mind me saying, it is quite hard to see you from here...ma'am? Sir! Right, my apologies. You are very quiet, and you keep it so bright. Where was I? Ah, well, starting from the beginning is what I am best at, wouldn't you agree? Hmm~? hu hu hu~! I was once the talk of the town, a saber-slicker in their own right before being propositioned by a handsome young human. His claim was his soul against my sword, that he could strike me down and I would never again stand without even a single scratch upon his armor. Foolish as I was, so eager to eat souls that I~ Oh, come now, don't ruin the ending before it had even happened! A threat? Why, I would never stand a chance against your human engineering. Look at me now. What threat could I pose, chained to a wall in broad daylight for all to see, with only your painted white line to entertain on the off hours. You might see a line, I see a wall that divides two people. And what would I have to gain? I belong here, after all. On that, we can both agree, yes? I...deal...with your human prisoners, and in turn...well, I actually have no idea what you all get out of this. Maybe you just like me~ I cannot entirely entertain an ideas as to why, though... *sigh* Compliments!? Oh my, maybe today is a good day. You're nothing like the others that tried beating me or flaying me for scales I do not have. Pretty smart; pretty and smart~ Just a joke, just a joke! I only figured you would like a compliment in return. Oh, come on, don't leave! ______________________________ The subject has repeatedly insisted they be called an array of different names, all of which come with various backgrounds and variations of cooperation. They have settled on 'Keepa' now, although the staff refer to them simply as 'The Liar' Liar was picked up on the outskirts of the Gold Village after reports of bodies found in alleys. Most were armed and considered either muggers or the like, but concern arose with the note that none of the bodies possessed significant wounds and had simply perished from apparent heart failure. Regardless of their crimes, it was official that we had a situation on our hands. Liar was later recovered in the middle of its apparent feeding on another victim, subdued with UV lights and transported to the prison before it could recombine. The Liar was held for three years before the breakout and is still considered at large. Little is known about the subject and caution is encouraged. Their whereabouts are unknown as of the moment.

I prefer no hybrids. They are different species. Horses and fish do not make babies either. Humans and dragons can fall in love but cannot make babies. Similar for dragon demons hybrids. Humans/demons cannot add enough magic to help in creating a dragon egg and dragon do not have the body/organs that can support the developing baby. There maybe experiments on the prisoner demons to forcefully make demon babies. Demon human babies I will leave that one open for now. Demons reproduction is a mystery so maybe it could work as part of a hunters experiment with the demons. Not in a natural way!

Dragon:

Name: Nexias Dragon age:Adult Age from hatching: 250 Magic:Shadow and Madness, He is able to solidify, manipulate, and energize shadows, making them into a variety of constructs, be they animate or inanimate, as well as replicate the effects of other elements by making the shadow take on the aspects of it, ex. Shadow lightning. He can also take the shape of a shadow to escape from most, if not all situations, and he can even shape shift into other people and creatures. Madness allows him to drive those of weak will and low power into Insanity, then he can control them through their insanity as well. Madness also has the ability to mutate life, turning it into a twisted version of what it once was. Anything that he changes with magic can be reverted with little difficulty, and he can even choose how they will go insane. It can be an bout of paranoia, a loss of inhibitions, anything he can think of. Even if the target has a string will, he can influence them heavily into a type of insanity, giving them whisperings of paranoia, make them more likely to act with out rational thought, or make them think they want to waddle around and cluck like a chicken. The only one's to be completely unaffected by this magic are Great GrandFather/GrandMother Dragons, and even then, it's only a matter of time. Dragon looks: "When facing such a fine specimen as myself the proper procedure is to bow down and tremble. Failure to comply will be met with fierce devouring or driving you insane. The choice of punishment, as well as the choice of insanity bestowed, belongs to me" Compact looks: "Hide, from what? Humans, the hell for, I'm a free spirit, mother fucker, I hide from no one.": Personality: Nexias, or Nex as he likes to be called, is insane. He loves nothing more than to fight, whether it be demons, dragons, even humans, it rely doesn't matter to him. And while he threatens it a lot, he has never killed anybody in a fight and doesn't plan to anytime soon. Out of all the dragons, he's one of the few, if not the only one, that doesn't hide his dragon features when in his compact form. He's proud of his heritage, and anyone who wants to insult dragon's as a whole better do it out of his ear shot unless they want their face to meet his fist. Background:

Name: Insomnium, Morpheus, Azous, Gaiden, Age:He doesn't remember Personality: It changes with his form, as does his name, making it hard to strike find him if you don't know them all. Insomnium is a berserker in battle, ripping apart anything in his path, but in life he's a rather gentle and childish. Morpheus is rather mysterious, preferring not to speak, but to observe. He hardly acts upon anything that doesn't involve him in some way, and is known to give gifts to some of the people he observes, though no one knows why. Gaiden is fairly hot-headed and, being the most human looking of all the forms, is usually the form taken when dealing with them is needed and violence is unwise. Gaiden loves to party and loves hanging out with humans, especially the women. Something about the way a human smells sets his soul aflame with passion, though he is hardly ever recieved with ooen arms. Azous is believed to be the original form, but none of the others are sure. His attitude is summed up in one word, Lazy. Azous will do nothing unless he is threaten by certain death, and thus Looks: Doesn't remember his original form, assumed to be Azous Powers: Each Persona has a different power, Gaiden has extremely good healing factor, making him basically immortal, but is only a physically and magically capable as a human. Insomnium has berserker rage, thick hide and scales, incredible dense body, but his mind is easily invaded by mental abilities and magic. Morpheus has self reproduction, meaning he can clone himself, and Azous is separated from reality, making him unaffected by everything, but making him unable to affect anything as well. Ocotlantli

Name: Ocotlantli (or just Ocotl for short)

Age: 356 (since capture)

Personality:

Largely neutral towards humans, but even though he was captured he is able to recognize that only some dislike him and will treat them kindly. Ocotl speaks slowly and carefully, if he speaks at all, which is rarely. However, he moves quickly and sharply, often being impulsive in movement only, despite his normally meditative nature. He attempts to avoid conflict whenever possible, but his cold personality can sometimes rub people the wrong way, and he ends up having to fight. Surprisingly, he has a rather dark sense of humor, even though he has almost never made a joke. He enjoys the company of other creatures, and doesn't mind being the center of attention. He'll make silent suggestions about where to go, but prefers to stay out of human affairs. Ocotl is helpful to a fault, often never hesitating to assist any sort of creature without questioning it, sometimes landing him into trouble or danger. He values kindness in a companion, and if you can convince him of it, he will be loyal to you for a long time.

Looks:

General Appearance

He can take almost any tree-like humanoid form he wishes, different colored leaves, different types of leaves, patterned bark, hanging fruits (sometimes edible), as well as height to a certain degree. However, he cannot discard or change his form at will once it has been made, unless it is destroyed or burned, at which point his spirit can inhabit a tree and create a new form using its energy, but destroying the tree in the process. The older or larger the tree, the more powerful he is in physical strength. The form does not naturally decompose, as it is technically alive. If he does not regain a form quickly after having his previous one destroyed, his spirit will be easy to capture, or it will eventually dissipate and he will die.

Background

Ocotlantli was created by an eccentric but very skilled Great-Grandfather Dragon many years ago with incredible power over nature in order to serve as a bodyguard and protector for him. Existing as a spirit of nature, and freely able to change forms within nature at will. Eventually, he was captured and forced into a tree, the dragon bending and shaping the tree to look like a human. He was very violent at first, the Dragon often having to restrain him using his magic. The Dragon treated him with the utmost kindness, and in time Ocotl calmed down, growing kind and loyal like his master. Over several years, the Dragon created two more creatures like Ocotl, named Ocotlihuian, and Ocotlipaquil. One day, the Dragon was set upon by a massive group of hunters, having been tipped off by a local village. They managed to surprise the Dragon, but the three warriors rushed to his aid. The battle lasted for several hours, and Ocotlihuian and Ocotlipaquil were overwhelmed by the hunters sheer force, their forms burnt to ash. Ocotlantli managed to stay strong for longer, but he too was burned up, and his master killed after the long battle, his power depleted from the long battle. Unable to stay as a spirit, he consumed a tree and created a new form for himself using it. With Ocotlihuian's and Ocotlipaquil's whereabouts unknown, and the Dragon defeated, he wandered forests and landscapes, exploring human society. However, he quickly learned that his presence was feared, and often had to take new forms, as he did not understand that humans did not like him, and got burned up. While on the outskirts of a small town one day, a young woman found him, and fearful, went to go tell the town's marshal. Just as she was about to run away, she stopped, and went back to him, becoming friends with him. After spending several weeks being friends with the woman, spending afternoons talking with her and learning about the human world, she introduced him to the townspeople. They were scared and angry at first at his strange appearance, but after some convincing by the girl, they accepted him and even started being kind to him, like the Dragon did so many years ago, realizing that humans aren't so bad after all. Some villagers taught him basic combat, and he became skilled with the sword and quarterstaff very quickly, but he ultimately disliked using them. He left the village many years ago, but still visits sometimes, preferring to wander the forests, hills, and mountains instead and discover as many new things about the human and dragon world as possible. He had recently been captured by the Hunter's Guild, his personality being ideal for a servant or laborer, about four months prior to now.
