"If you hadn't noticed we didn't want to run away, and the pacifist human was the first to come your stupid aid! Yes, humans may be capable, but tell me, did you ever think that these particular ones have any experience or were mentally prepared for this?! They are kids, lizard and probably weren't expecting to get thrown here from their cozy little homes into fighting giant weird creatures! Of course they're scared you stone for brained idiot! That's why we need to stay with them! We are their only friends in this new world to them! So if you ask me, you're the coward to expect rookie human children, with no weapons, to fight your battles right out the gate! How about you think about how others feel, or would you rather have people so below you throw themselves to their death?! So yes, until you figure out what's wrong with you, you're a sorry excuse for a king... No... For a Digimon you stupid---!!!" Gazimon shouted, fur bristling and claws out as she turned toward Hackmon's with fangs barred, showing no respect or fear toward the dragon digimon. Though she was going to say more Jake picked her up, putting a hand on her muzzle before smiling at the dragon.
"Sorry. I didn't do it to owe you a favor, I did it because I didn't want you hurt. So you don't owe me anything." Jake said softly before setting the flailing Gazimon down who glanced to Hirschmon before scoffing, moving to a tree and scrapping some bark off with her claws and handing it to Jake. "Chew it, it will make you feel better." she said.
Jake obeyed and chewed on the bark, watching the feline bunny creature cross her arms over her chest. "Why are you so hard on Hackmon? He was just doing what he thought was best." he said softly to his Digimon.
Gazimon snorted, long flappy ears flicking slightly. "Because I hate Digimon like him the most. Proclaiming to be king when they don't know the first thing about it. In truth, they just want others under their feet to serve their every need. It may start off with good intentions, but they only end up as tyrants. He's no better then Devimon." she answered quietly with a scoff to Jake.
"How do you know what makes a good king?" Jake asked thoughtfully.
The golden gaze that had glowed so fierce and angry just a moment ago, faded briefly into one of sorrow. "Because I've experienced the bad." Gazimon muttered before eyes hardening again. "So someone like that, will never be my king." she said.
" Would you want to be king?" Jake asked.
"No. I wouldn't make a good one either." she answered, watching as Jake put on his shirt and jacket before glancing to the others.
Jake lightly patted the top of Gazimon's head before looking at the others as they conversed where to go, all the while chewing on the bark before standing up as the insect like Digimon started wandering off. Not wanting to just leave anyone on her own, he started following it. "Well, either way, we can't stay in one place. There may be more hostile Digimon and not moving probably will make us bigger targets." he said softly. Glancing toward the others and frowning softly in concern as the man known as Cayden seemed quite uncomfortable. Perhaps he really was just not a people person.
"If you have any other ideas, please share." Gazimon said sarcastically as she followed Jake with a huff. It's not like any of them knew where the keys were, not like they were given a general direction to go anyhow. For all they knew, they keys could be buried in the middle of no where.
