**Name:** Alver Starlis **Age:** 19 **Height:** 7'0 **Personality:** Alver is sort of quiet at first, mostly because he starts out suspicious of other people due to what his parents often warned him about and his previous encounters. Due to this, he can be sarcastic, sometimes a smart-ass, and let out a bit more of his dark sarcastic humor. He's also sometimes a bit mean and bitter when it comes to people who seem to feel overly sorry for themselves. He doesn't mean to be cruel, it just comes out that way. Often rebutting with 'Right, at least you can probably find someone who's like you. They even made groups for people like you. How many groups of albino do you see?' Since it's sometimes a lonely thought being the only one. He's never seen another person like him, can't even see if one is on the internet somewhere. Utter seclusion. It felt like he was part of a extinct species. However, he's a pretty mature, sweet and kind boy who's rather calm most of the time. Pretty level headed, and doesn't enjoy fights. He's naturally curious and adventurous and enjoys wandering about often, seeming to ignore any possible danger. Although he doesn't have a lot of social skills and finds it difficult on how to talk to others, he does want other people's company even for a little bit. Having been secluded most of his life. But he's always willing to lend a friendly ear to those who feel down, giving his own friendly advice and opinions. Quite a fatherly/brotherly figure towards those younger than him. He loves flowers, stargazing, singing and playing the piano. As well as practicing Judo his father taught him. He also likes animals. Despite his overall kind nature, he can be mischievous and enjoys teasing others and has a little bit of dark humor. Despite others not usually enjoying his presence and sometimes hating his own appearance, he has a small bit of pride in his looks and never really attempts hiding his hair anymore, even growing it out into a longer length. He also enjoys taking advantage of those who are a bit scared of him from the 'demonic, ghost, vampire' rumors. **Appearance:** ![Albino](http://i62.tinypic.com/14w3cwp.jpg Alver) **Hobbies:** Piano, Violin, Singing, Dancing, Judo, Reading, Painting, Walking, Cooking. **History:** On the day of Halloween, October 31st 1995, gave birth to a boy with striking white hair and very pale white skin. Eyes a pretty light lavender color that often seemed to change color depending on where the light struck them. Sometimes lavender, sometimes a very light pale blue, and even a tinge of red people would say. His parents were quite shocked to see such a pale baby and wondered if he was just unhealthy, having never seen someone as pale as a ghost. He wasn't, the was just born with the gene of extremely rare pigments of a albino. So, his mother named him Alver, meaning "White" in Latin-American, along to fit with his last name, Starlis meaning Star. His parents worried over his well being, as the doctors gave them proper diagnostics of possible defects of albinos, as well as studying their own research. They feared he would burn easily and wouldn't be able to see well since he had such low pigments in his eyes, as well as feared of rumors that the internet spread. Many saying that quite of bit of people sell albino's over to Africa because those people believe the organs of albinos are some sort of sacred healing items. Due to this, his family moved out of the city to a small town in a more secluded house near a meadow. Both to be away from many people, and so he could grow in a healthier environment. As he grew up, Alver's parents rarely actually let him out of the house, especially during the day. He was home schooled in order to avoid other people as much as possible, knowing full and well that he would only be treated poorly over being a albino. Often leaving him home alone when they had to work. He was first allowed outside at the age of eight years old, when he begged his mother to take him shopping with her. However, she bundled him up in clothing. A coat, long pants, gloves, a scarf, sunglasses and a hat. At least it was during a chillier time of the season, but Alver detested it because he could hardly see anything or really move around with ease. Still, despite the downsides, he enjoyed being outside finally and helping his mother with shopping. At one point, Alver saw a playground on the way home, asking his mother eagerly if he could go and play with the other children. She forbid it however, saying that it wasn't safe. When asked why, she answered 'Because you are different. They will hurt you.' Seeming to be absolutely sure he would just get bullied over his looks. At the age of twelve, Alver grew a bit more adventurous. So when his parents went to work, he snuck out of the house during a cloudy day. He still wore long clothing, gloves, and brought a umbrella just in case. But felt more confident that he'd be fine during cloudy weather. The townsfolk had never seen Alver without heavy clothing covering his head and were shocked at what they saw. A child, pale as a ghost with such odd colored eyes and striking white hair had come of that house near the meadow. Rumors speed through town like a fire, some saying he was really a ghost, others claiming he must be a vampire for no one saw him in the sunlight without excessive clothing covering his white skin. When Alver attempted to play with other children, they were actually scared of him. Some were brave enough to call him hurtful names, but they retreated and ran home whenever he drew closer. When his parents got home and heard of the rumors, they scolded Alver for leaving home. It was too late though as now the whole town had heard of the 'ghost' boy. His father at that point, tried to teach him self defense moves he learned in the police force. Alver was a fairly a frail person, but he learned to be quick on his feet and how to at least avoid being pummeled. It was just another hobby to avoid boredom since he wasn't allow to do much like watch tv. His parents feared his eyes would get bad if he watched tv or play on a computer. Despite many believing he was some sort of spawn of satin or some undead creature, Alver continued to grow like any normal boy, only really coming out during the night when he was old enough to feel to wander around. During his teens, he often wandered around night, enjoying being outdoors as well as get inspired for his regular hobby of painting. During his lonely years, he learned quite a few things. Painting, dancing, singing, and even how to play the piano and violin. Often, he can be found during the night in the meadow. Either stargazing, singing or playing the violin. His father sadly passed away when he was fifteen, leaving his mother almost broken. Now, she spends most of her time away from home, hardly ever being around. Always working or something. Alver at first detested being further secluded, but soon enjoyed being able to be outside more. Though he does still mostly avoid other people, tired of their murmurs and odd looks. Most of the townsfolk a bit intimidated by him since he grew tall as a teen as well as being the son of two police officers. That and the 'demonic' rumors of him. As he matured, he found himself being mildly attracted to either gender, though seemed to find amusement to being with another male. Though he keeps his gender preferences a secret and hardly ever gets romantically involved with anyone. --- **Writing Sample** Today had been another simple day, in which Alver Starlis slept through most of it. He had gotten used to being a night owl most of his life since he had little use to being awake during the daylight other than maybe classes. Even then, most of the time his classes took place at night, thanks to his special tutor his parents hired over the years. Besides, he always did enjoy the night, it was prettier than people gave it credit for. And it was away from curious eyes. When he woke up, the pale colored boy yawned and raised his head a little, wearing nothing but a pair of black shorts. Having slept on his stomach, he propped himself up with his elbows as his pale lavender eyes blinked the sleep away. The dimly lit room, having darkened slightly as the sun slowly lowered. Must be between the afternoon and evening. Giving a mild groan as his face flopped back down to his pillow, he rolled over onto his back and swung his legs over the bedside and stood up, stretching his tall body. Sliding his slender long fingers through his messy white hair, he gave a mumble as he walked to the bathroom. Grabbing a purple brush from the left slider from the pearly white sink, he brushed out his messy white hair until it was straight before removing the last of his clothing and getting into the shower. After washing himself thoroughly with with a soft cherry blossom scent, he dried himself off with a beige towel while walking back to his room, a similar towel around his waist. Moving to the closet to changed into some clothes to cover his almost naked lean, lightly toned body. Humming as he slipped on a pair of underwear, he wore a pair of white sweats and a long sleeve light brown turtleneck. Grabbing a hair band on his nightstand, he put up his long white hair in a loose low ponytail. Slipping on some white socks he took from his dresser and a pair of silk white gloves, he walked out of his room and went down the small hall that led to the living room and open kitchen. The living room had a couch and two cabinets full of books. Since there was no tv or computers, he had to spend a bit of his time reading. A black grand piano also sat in the corner, another hobby of his to relieve his boredom. Deciding to have his 'breakfast' he went to the kitchen. To get some cereal. To his dismay, it seemed the young man was out of the common breakfast food as well as milk. He thought about a omelet, only to discover he was out of eggs and bacon as well. Giving a few grumbles of disapproval, the tall man sighed before walking to the front door, grabbing his white coat from the coat rack and slipping it on. Alver was going to have some god damn breakfast, even if it meant going to the store. He should be fine outside, it wasn't dark, but the sunlight was at least not too heated for him. Slipping on a pair of white and blue-striped tennis shoes and grabbing a umbrella before walking out door and locking it behind him. It was more or less a peaceful walk to the store, if you don't count the newly released students staring and whispering about him when he reached the more central of the town. They were promptly ignored however as he slipped on his pair of sunglasses he dug from his pocket. It didn't take long for him to arrive at the store called 'Food n' Stuff'.... Such a original name of course. Walking inside, he didn't pay too much of his attention on the workers, and there were barely any customers if any, so he simply grabbed a carrying basket and went along the store lanes. A female worker came out from a door at the back of the store, who looked quite shaken for some reason. When she looked toward him, it didn't seem to help matters. However, Alver simply continued to do what he came here to do. Get food. Picking up some eggs, a carton of milk, a packet of bacon strips, before finally standing in the cereal section. The albino pondered exactly which he wanted this time around, having developed a taste for quite a few brands. Alver often switched between them in order to keep a somewhat fresh start for the morning.
> > Hi everyone! Wow, have to get use to this, the differences. Anyway, I'll post soon! I had a post done but forgot to copy it when the site went down so I lost it > > Damn, that sucks XD That really sucks xD
> > > Well, we can't all be in the same car, but James sticks close to Damian as his team mate. He just hasn't told Damian yet XD > > > > They're beeeeest buddies. > > > > It reminds me that I always seem to enjoy connecting my characters in someway. <.< a weird habit > > I actually generally use the same character for most of my RP's Well I meant when I have multiple in the same rp xD they would somehow be connected to each other. Either by, previous history like childhood, blood-related, trained under the same master once etc I use the same one depending on the rp. Otherwise, poof a new one xD
> Hmmm, red is spooky but lavender is...flowery. I'm on the fence here. :P I know D: If it's red, the. The religious may go "OH MAH GOD VAMPIRE! SPOOKY SCARY!" While Lavender would indeed more flowery, but probably prettier then red. I shall continue looking for a suitable pic xD
> My vote's for an albino. Heh a good choice (they are so pretty... But damn rare to meet one) Now to decide gender and eye color between red or that pretty lavender. XD *browses pictures on google*
> Well, we can't all be in the same car, but James sticks close to Damian as his team mate. He just hasn't told Damian yet XD They're beeeeest buddies. It reminds me that I always seem to enjoy connecting my characters in someway. <.< a weird habit
Mhmm I am unsure if I should go with... A feminine looking boy who likes crossdressing(though he still thinks himself a guy. He just likes playing crossdressing) A psychopath who spends a lot of time thinking of ways to kill people (no worries he won't) and is also a bit of a Satanist. Or a albino. Gaaah!!!
> sadly I can't yet quote my old post and move it to the character section, oh well. The possible preview of the final version of the guild is looking very nice. Yeah, though I dunno why, I don't like how the subscriptions look. Heh xD
Name: Ashule (though at the start of the rp, it does not have a name other than Kof'Yurr) Age: 400 Height/Weight: 8'0/250lb Occupation: Mercenary Gender: Genderless. It does not care if others refer it as female or male. Race: Lei'Loni - Kof'Yurr Physical Description: ![The Shadow Warrior](http://img2.goodfon.su/original/2744x1887/7/bf/robot-voin-topor.jpg "Ashule") Standing 8 feet tall, Ashule is a large black armored clad warrior with a lithe build with a blood red cape hanging from the neck. With blue glowing optical sensors that seem to stare through someone's very soul. Personality: Ashule is what a Lei'Loni would call 'glitched' among their kind. However, despite that, it is known to be extremely loyal like any other soldier of its kind, it just no longer has loyalties to anyone. Actually, it's quite a bit funny, considering Lei'Loni are known to be loyal and snobbish. But Ashule is loyal to one person who died long ago, and now is quite snobbish toward its own kind compared to other races at least. Tends to piss off other Lei'Loni since they don't deal well with snobbery. It can act a little snobbish toward other races as well, but it seems to be less so with humans. Ashule tends to be straightforward, blunt, and honest to a fault. Stubborn in what it thinks is correct and what is not. However, compared to others of its race, it treats others pretty fairly and kindly, seeming to be willing to help out anyone if it thinks the situation needs it. Ashule doesn't take any job unless it approves the mission, seeming to follow own morals. It can't seem to get jokes, but it often tries to and fails at making jokes. Unlike most of its kind, it's pretty polite and kind, mostly towards other races and keeps a calm and level head. It isn't very often Ashule gets mad and hardly resorts to violence. It has a practical thought over all races, seeing many different sides to everyone's situation. Therefore, he does not interfere in battles or rebellions. The only battles it seems to involve itself with is when it believes a innocent has been done wrong. It has a sense of honor and justice of its own and although a specialized killer, has not actually killed anyone after being banished and has let most of its opponents leave after being defeated. Quirks/Habits: -Studies races and species- It tends to ask questions to another species, and seems to enjoy looking over animals and plants when it comes across something it doesn't know about. -Human Behavior- It seems to attempt to do some human things from time to time. Like the art of jokes. Which it isn't very good at. Skills: Formerly a Tol'Shul, Ashule has been trained vigorously for combat. -Swordmandship -Marksman -Stealth -Freerunning Abilities(This includes weapons): Ashule was built to be a fast hitter to the point where it could assassinate without being detected, as well hold it's own in combat. Its core has a special stealth function where it can temporarily camoflouge with its environment. It also uses a specialized large sword, that comes in two modes. Blade mode and Gun mode. A Lei'Loni plasma weapon, a experiment weaponry used for certain Lei'oni. It's swift and sharp as a blade and a powerful blast as a gun. Backstory: Ashule used to go by the name Tirak when a Tol'Shul many years ago. Like any soldier, it trained vigorously and did not question its superiors. A pretty ordinary life as a Tol'Shul really. Fighting, training, commanding, more training, and the like. Often, it went on solo missions to the 'filth' side to stealthily spy and report any sort of rebellions. However, it came to a surprise attack by glitchy Kof'Yurr and was injured. It was then it met a human, a creature Ashule did not think much of like many Lei'Loni, and came to its aid. At first, it did not care to listen to a creature that was nothing more than fodder, however, it grew to be curious of this human behavior that Lei'Loni simply did not have. It confused it, and eventually came to respect this human as much as it did any Royal Lei'Loni. But this respect did come from rank, but from a simple individual. It was odd. However, the Lei'Loni discovered Ashule's new logic when it returned, and concurred it as glitchy and faulty. They assassinated the human it had befriended, hoping this would cease Ashule's glitching... However it just made it worse as it was enraged and it ended with another Tol'Shul dead as well as a few lower ranking soldiers. Ashule was then banished, stripped of its name and now was simply a Kof'Yurr. It did not care, and lived amongst the poor races as a hired mercenary, though it rarely interacted and seemed to enjoy a peaceful life of simply watching the other races. After many years on the other side, it's made quite name of itself for being a powerful yet non violent Lei'Loni who got the nickname 'Ashule' meaning 'Shadow Warrior' in a alien language due to its ability to travel around swiftly and stealthily.
