The monster snarled before roaring as a arrow struck its head, ice coving its eyes. It hissed as it's two smaller hands tried to scrape the ice off while the two bigger ones tried to keep the Chimera at bay. Karn saw the chance, feeling the gravity that held him suddenly leave and his full strength returned as his paws lashed the claws away before sinking his sabertooth fangs into the creatures jugular. It wailed and screeched like the first before disappearing and reverting back to the orb. It seemed these creatures weren't quite as strong as they appeared, most likely because they were more made for distractions instead of combat like his own Transformation magic. Quickly, his large paw stomped on the orb, and smashed it to pieces. The masked wizard watched the girl leap out of the hole and shot a beacon arrow. Right hand waving again in a speedy manor, it wrote out blue words. **"Freeze."** they said, freezing the arrow before it simply fell to the ground. **"I believe your the ones breaking in. I'm simply getting a stolen item back."** They said calmly before they jumped down the hole. **"Seal."** they said as they wrote grey words out, a invisible wall covering the whole with purple writing. Reading that 'You must wait five minutes.' Hopefully before they were followed. The masked figure looked at the growling beast, before raising their right hand with their index and middle finger clasped together. **"Games are over. Grane has arrived."** they said before saying a soft chant. Karn was unsure what to do, he didn't know what this person was doing. Should he run? Attack? He wasn't sure. He tried moving but his leg caused him to falter and flinch. That moment, the figure seemed to just teleport in front of him, or simply moved too fast to see. **"....Death."** They whispered before their fingers seemed to lightly tap the left side of his chest. But instead of a light touch like it seemed, a purple light shined before blasting him, launching him upward through the ceiling and ended up landing outside of the Council building. His chimera form disappeared and he reverted back to his human self. Looking up, the figure jumped up the layers of holes before walking over to the unmoving boy. Searching the boy's bag. Finding the book, they took it out, before casually stepping over the boy. **"Now whom to return it to return it to."** They mused before looking toward the library and started for that direction. If they could guess, both Grane and Masahiko should be there. Either of them would do. Their figure started tracing words on the book, starting to seal it further with heavy encryptions.

He felt weak, and tired, and it hurt. Blood clogged his throat and he felt like he was choking again, drowning... It sent a shiver of fear into his heart at the thought of drowning. Though his long ears perked as he heard footsteps and smelled a familiar scent. Turning his head slowly, he saw Trinity come over to him. Gently touching his bloody side. At the questions, his lion like face slowly nodded pointing his nose up at the hole before he tried to stand and looked to the ball. **"...It was a tool for one of the... Wizards working with the council. Using Transformation magic to make a servant."** he answered, about to smash it with a massive paw but it instantly floated away and back up the whole before the cloaked masked figure peered down at them. **"Sorry kitty, but I can't allow you to escape with the book. You could always just change human and give it up. It would make things easier for you and Phoenix Wing."** they said before brushing their fingers against the orb which then shined brightly before changing into [a large Vulcan sized black creature with glowing red designs and white glowing eyes.](http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/295/9/b/the_black_beast_by_brunolin-d6rgpre.png) It growled and jumped down the hole and landed in front of them. It snarled before roaring at them, the large claws hands raising up before making a swipe at them. Karn growled before ramming his horns against the beasts chest, but made a soft whine as blood red claws dug into his shoulders, ripping at his brown mane.

Alver watched the others, the darker skinned and quiet girl in front of him giving a slight nod in a mild greeting. He was a little surprised at the gesture but did the same, though looked to the man screaming about a ambulance coming. He wondered what was going on, before deciding it was probably better not to get involved. It was then that more annoyances decided to make themselves known. Some kids, perhaps middle schoolers or freshmen, entered and demanded to know if there were any freaks. At this, Alver stepped foreword, his lavender gave narrowed, though the color turned a slight red as the sun outside hit them oddly. This made some of them nervously shift a bit at the sight of a much taller pale colored man. Standing 7'0, he towered over most of the people here, but it was then the small purple haired person seemed to get angry and throw the leader group of bullies down to the ground. Raising his right hand to rub his right temple to calm any nerves, he was about to step in until some man came in and disrupted the argument. Talking with the girl who had greeted him, basically doing the sobbing cashier's job before leaving. Not before preaching to them of course. *"I didn't even do anything... Preachers."* Alver thought before looking at the ambulance pull up and the paramedics pull up and ask for where the injured person was. Looking to the two panicked workers, Alver figured their mindset wasn't exactly calm enough to actually breathe coherent sentences so he looked to the paramedics and pointed to the back and to the door he saw the female worker come from. **"I believe she's in there."** his voice silky and calm before looking at the male worker. **"Better go take them to whoever is in trouble."** he said before looking to the sobbing woman. The long white haired man stood there, unsure what exactly to do in this situation. It wasn't like he comforted people, or spoke to any. Plus he also still needed his food before going out on his nightly walk. Actually everyone seemed on edge, even the girl who wanted to stay when she could of gone with her father. Perhaps he should feel it to, and maybe he did but he also knew panicking over it wasn't going to do any good. The bullies were gone and the paramedics were here, so whoever was in trouble would hopefully be alright . There was little more to do about it. **"Miss, please calm down and take deep breaths."** Alver said in a calm, but kinder voice. The girl was still shaking , but her sobs slowly slowed. He sighed before taking out his wallet and put down enough twenty dollars on the counter and started checking his own items.
