Bio

Hi! I'm Silver. I'm a 28-year-old woman in CA with more than a touch of the 'tism and I've been doing RP-by-post since I was 12 and heavily into Warrior Cats (lol). I've taken a few years of a break for undergrad and grad school and I'm happy to be jumping back in again! I enjoy writing fantasy, mild psychological horror, angst, action, and sometimes romance. Fandoms I enjoy RPing are Hellaverse, Undertale, TADC, and Harry Potter. I typically play OCs only.

Other than that, I have two cats (really one but the other is my boyfriend's cat) and a snake! I am a music therapist and a university lecturer as well.

I tend to post at least once a day in my RPs, but sometimes more frequently. However, I don't mind needing to wait a few days for a post! I just get excited to write 😁

I’m here from Warrior Cats RPG/Feral Front. DM me if you think we played together over there!

Damien is leaving in like 2-3 posts, so @tadcfnaf I don’t recommend starting an interaction with him. But maybe with Vicis? That could help get him back into the RP?
PATCH

with CAINE

πŸŽ‰*POP!*πŸŽ‰

In the moment immediately following Amber's decision on their name, Caine appeared in a thin cloud of confetti with his limbs outstretched and his eyes bugging out of his mouth.

"Whew!! I cannot do that again. My word, I could hardly wait to meet you, Amber! Wow!" Caine energetically floats forward to excitedly shake Amber's hands in his clasped white gloves. He shakes for a few seconds too long to be considered a "normal" interaction--and honestly, what interactions with him even are normal?--then stops to catch his breath. "Ah, you know, for science, I wanted to see how a human would go about choosing a name without my presence affecting the choice! I hated that idea of course, but-"

"But an Intelligent scientist dedicates himself to his craft!" Bubble arrives with a much smaller popping sound beside Caine's head, seemingly pleased that he had effectively interrupted Caine's monologue. Caine seems to feel the opposite.

"Yes, thank you, Bubble," he says, crossing his arms. He eyes Bubble for only a second before turning back to Amber, forgetting his momentary irritation. "So! That's Bubble and I am Caine, your digital host!" Caine puts his arm around Amber's shoulders and sweeps his arms across the air in front them as the words "DIGITAL HOST" appear in red bubbled letters. They pop a moment after Caine speaks them. Then, Caine spins Amber around so that they are facing the rest of the group again. "It looks like you've met everyone else except..." Caine pauses as he looks around the group, pointing and counting to himself. "What happened to Kinger and Zooble?" he asks.

Patch smiles and rolls her eyes. She's certain that Caine knows where the others are. He controls this whole digital universe and can teleport to anyone's side at will. But Patch plays along. "They went that way," she says, pointing toward the bedrooms. "Jax went that way too, in case you were wondering."

"Ah, yes, Jax," Caine says offhandedly, waving away the thought. "Right, then. You arrived at a wonderful time. Everyone has just started the adventure for today! The goal is to get big again! As you can see, you are all currently really, really tiny. But! Because you are new, I will give you a hint." Caine speaks with a twinkle in his eye as if he's been itching to give the group some direction. He dramatically holds a hand up to his face and turns toward Amber as if he is whispering to only them, but speaks loud enough for everyone to hear. "You'll need to find the recipe for getting big again!" Caine's eyeballs turn inside his mouth to look pointedly at Snix when he says "recipe," then they spin back to face Amber. "Think you can help with that?" he asks, proudly setting his hands on his hips.

"I pan handle the can!" Bubble adds enthusiastically. At this, Caine squints at Bubble and says "What is wrong with you?" before turning toward Amber again to hear their answer without waiting for an answer from Bubble, of course.
Yeah I was expecting @tadcfnaf to post next too. You can post if you want though haha there’s not really a set order
Damien's Catharsis
@Tlazolteotl

Damien sat quietly. It was peaceful, the garden. The idea of staying and leaving when he wanted to felt...reassuring? Like for once, he didn't have to carry the weight of the world. He looked at the image of VinΓ©, then back out at the garden again. Purple lilies and lavender continued to sprout across the small, blooming field.

"I would like to stay here," he said with certainty. His voice was calm and steady as he spoke, and by the time the last word left his mouth, the image of VinΓ© was gone. Damien closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The feeling of sunlight warmed his face. His eyes remained closed when he spoke again. "Thank you."
HELL YEAH
Being finished with finals is the best. We're excited to have you back!!
@Stanifly

WOOOOOO welcome back!!! Your finals must be all done!! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

The ringing begins to fade as the moth's hand lands on Damien's shoulder. The image of VinΓ© is idle. His gaze sweeps the garden, in tact. Peaceful. With each breath, focusing on the flowers, he feels renewed. Fear tugs as his heart, but he dismisses it.

The barrier of vines at the edge of the garden slowly descend into the ground, the shadows slowly brightening. Beyond them, the garden stretches to the horizon. The sky is blue and dotted with a few small cumulus clouds. The image of Damien working at his desk had not resolved, but has disappeared. Maybe that was all he needed.

Damien looks from the moth to VinΓ©, and then across the garden again. A patch of purple snowdrop sprouts from the earth directly in front of him. Damien gently reaches out and lifts a drooping flower head with his claw. "Can I stay?" he asks calmly, turning back to the moth. "What happens if I stay? For a bit. And could I come back? When I leave?"
OH! Yes, there are two πŸ˜†
@tadcfnaf Don't worry, I have a plan in mind. Caine will show up eventually.

@Birdboy There's basically a giant Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy, but as toddlers. I based it on "I'm willing to bet that's our 'ragatha', oh joy" 😁

Damien shrunk in the shadow of the larger demon, his hooves quaking in his boots. The flame in his hand dimmed and dissipated, leaving no trace of smoke. His eyes darted around the wilting garden. His breath quickened. The ringing was like a swarm of bees in his ears. Damien knew it would soon sting.

He couldn’t escape his commander and secure his peace. How did he ever think he could? It was naive. He couldn’t give up, for he had to fulfill his duty to support his mom. He couldn’t abandon his friends, because they supported him even while he had been secretly aiding their demise against his will. But looking at the garden, there was also no way for him to truly have all of this and all it represented.

The candle atop his head flickered from Viné’s breath. He had not been this close to the demon himself in months. Would he be more dangerous up close?

Damien looked from the demon to the moth and back. To return to Hell, he would need to shut himself off. At least temporarily, anyway, so he could endure more labor and pain. But maybe, somehow, he would have strength against the great lion. Damien couldn’t think of a time he could face him without being stricken with fear. Maybe his horns would end up mounted on the wall the moment he retaliated. But would it be worth it? To die trying, rather than die giving up?

The thought was anxiety-inducing.

Damien considered the moth. It stood there patiently. Calm. What would he be choosing by taking its hand? Would he stay? Might he…die? Did he want to die? Or would he find refuge, even for a short while?

Damien couldn’t think of a time when he could choose. Not since childhood. He wasn’t sure that he trusted himself to choose. He stood between the moth and the lion, frozen by the magnitude of it all.

For the first time, he envied the humans. So many of them had a god to call upon. In Hell, you had no one. No higher power to lean on, no deity to have faith in. What do I do? he thought desperately.
