"Felix, you better let me in to help you get with the docking. Those little blue critters out there aren't advertisement drones looking for a sale." @DJAtomika

Slamming his hand down on the door release Felix let the hatch behind him slide open before pointing over at the auxiliary control terminal set into the bulkhead. "Take a seat there and bring up the close-range and long-range scanners. I need you to keep track of the asteroid field ahead and warn me if it starts getting too close. Also keep an our on our... 'friends' out there. Let me know if they look like they'll get in the was of our maneuvering. Wouldn't want to accidentally toast them with our thrusters. Well, not much anyways."

With that Felix turned back to his console, dropping the scanner feeds he'd been using and focusing solely on the medium-range scanners showing the relative positions of both ships. "Come on baby, don't fail me now." He muttered, activating the thrusts to inch the shuttle closer to the maintenance hatch, causing the small shuttle to lurch sideways like a drunken bilgesnipe.

Ok, that makes sense. Tell me, would she be able to tell that Light's character was undead, or just get an uneasy feeling around him, or none of the above? I just want to know how powerful her energy sensing would be.

She'd just feel uneasy around him at first, but might pick up on the undead thing after a while in the same party together. Having said that she's not prejudice in any way, the worst things that have happened in her life so far have been at the hands of regular humans and so she'd probably trust him more knowing he wasn't one of them.
Apologies for the absence however... Avengers 2 was incredible O.o

LALALA, Not Listening! LALALALALA!

I've got tickets to see it at the BFI iMax next weekend with the family so I'm going to have a tense week avoiding it until then.

Just a note that once the assassin droids actually start doing shit, Sevyn's going to be firing at the bots.

Just waiting to give Hundred a chance to respond to the perceived threat before picking up on the bots, unless other actions force a step in time. At the moment I think Felix has filled in everything that's been happening in the cockpit upto the point where the bots appeared, and other events may force the issue shortly.

@SimplyJohn: So she's got a bit of ESP power? Or can she read auras/energy patterns and the like? I assume the "Fae-touched" thing was just a rumor, but we could say that she's been blessed by them or something if you want to.
The resistance to the fog could be a result of a mixed heritage. That's not that unusual considering how many races are on this world.

Kismet's definitely some form of halfbreed, but luckily whichever of her parents wasn't human was also definitely one of the 'pretty' creatures lurking in the wilds. No orc or goblin blood in this girl. As to exactly what they were, no-one knows for sure, and to be honest given her talent for keeping her secrets to herself I don't think anyone's too worried about finding out. There's nothing overtly magical about her though, and she has no great mystical powers bestowed on her due to her heritage, other than a slight resistance to hostile magics and charms, such as the Fog.

Her Empathic powers are a mixture of aura-reading, psychology and body reading, partly due to her natural affinity but mostly from her upbringing dealing with 'completely honest and pure-hearted tradesmen'. She can usually pick up when someone is lying to her based on the changes in the way their eyes move and other subtle gestures most people wouldn't notice, this does require her to be at quite close range to the person to work though, since seeing the body language would be important.

The Portal Sense ability also ties into the aura-reading to a degree, as Kismet can read the natural energies of locations as well as people. This is all subconscious for her though, and usually manifests as an uneasy feeling whenever she's near a weak point between worlds, which would occur just prior to an actual breach.
This is way too active an OOC, more than in used to.

The RPs I'm in, the OOC sections are just us sitting around and waiting for the next post. Bland and boring, but just the way I like it. This is kinda overloading my brain.

I'm prodding them as much as I can. If they don't hurry things up and get onto the ship a sudden asteroid storm should thin out the herd a little.

It's almost as if I'd mentioned the asteroids earlier on for a reason... >D

Says the plague man. We all know who the real doctor is. He's the one with the armour protected by the red cross and the Geneva Convention.

Is that still valid in the future

I thought the Geneva Convention was replaced with the Galagan Convention back in 2287 after peaceful relations had been established with alien races?
"Oi Navy Boy, You failed to mention when you were picking us up again at the end of this delightful little adventure."@Bonjour xx

"Don't worry, I'll be close by. Once you send the signal I'll head back to pick you up." Felix replied as he studied the readouts and realigned the shuttle to match the Lone Star.

It was a tricky maneuver as the dreadnought was spinning slowly on its axis, he could really have done with a hand to make sure he didn't get too close and end up slamming straight into the side of the beast, but as it was his eyes darted between five different monitors as he struggled to keep track of both vessels, the EVA passengers, and the rocky asteroid field which was getting slowly closer as the Lone Star drifted on through space.

"And before you ask, the comms array on the Lone Star should have more than enough range to reach me, once you bring it online again." He finished before cutting the link and moving both hands back to his control board to make yet another set of delicate calibrations.
Exactly. Like the rest of them can preform life saving medical procedures.

Or prescribe birth control pills.
Go sit in the corner!

I already am sitting in the corner, the one with the flight controls and life support operation systems. >D
And takes her revenge!

Hundred taking Sevyn's 'revenge'? Never heard it called that before... :P
I got dibs on the co-pilot spot cause otherwise Simon isn't doing anything useful.

Don't worry, after Sevyn gets ripped apart by the swarm of mini assassin droids you can help Farvis stitch her back together again while Hundred weeps at her bedside.
