Also, I just realized. We *really* need someone who can "track" ether. Like, they'd be able to sense it or something. So, for example, if there was a group of people waiting in ambush, you'd be able to tell where they were beforehand. Also, if someone were to run away, you would be able to follow their trail if you had a sample of their ether.
Anyone who isn't already incredible powerful want to have an extra power? It'd have to make sense for your character though.

Probably makes sense. Hassan would have jumped at the chance to help Tatiana with anything, Stina would have been incredibly useful, and Ragnar would probably have been assigned to go with them anyway in order to practice shielding them from the cold, though that's just a thought.
Only hiccup is that Hassan really wouldn't have been good for much besides moral support - I highly doubt that the Word works on demons.

Culture: The culture of the Deepfolk is as varied as their environments. There are cities of Deepfolk carved into massive reefs, masters of the art of sculpting living coral, just as there are nomadic tribes that swim across the endless sandy dunes, herding domesticated whales. There are villages among kelp forests and isolated settlements in the frozen north, and even a few settlements that stick to the shallow waters and cultivate trade with humans. The only things that all Deepfolk civilization has in common are veneration of their god and a deep culture of music – every one of them is born knowing instinctively the song of the sea, and every night the ocean echoes with the sound of their unified voices.
Technology: Biological, mainly – the Deepfolk use bioluminescent plants and creatures for light, build structures out of coral and bone, tame the beasts of the sea for their food and labor and warfare. They’re very fond of using toxins for fighting and hunting, as well as some of the sea’s stranger means of defense such as bioelectric fish. Transport across the sea is mainly achieved by riding whales or dolphins, though they also tend to domesticate massive crabs, some of which are even large enough to fit small nomadic villages on their backs.
Capital: Kalanai, The Abyssal City. Located in the deepest trench of the ocean where no sunlight has ever reached, Kalanai is a sprawling metropolis of white coral and whalebone the heart of Deepfolk culture. It’s a center of art and learning amongst the deep places of the sea, and also home to the finest coralsmiths in the Deep Kingdom. The city itself is dizzyingly complex, vertical in a way that no land-dweller could ever understand and sprawling across the trench floor and up the walls. At the heart of the city lies the palace of Legorian, a pale citadel from which the Mad God and his children rule their great undersea kingdom, vigilantly guarding the stone that is the source of their power.
Beings:
Great sea-snakes that dwell mainly in cooler waters – they are often docile by nature, preferring a diet of whale and dolphin, though they have been known to attack mortals when threatened.
Violent, territorial and severely bad tempered creatures, only four of them exist in the entirety of the ocean. They typically dwell in caves and stay close to their territory, responding with extreme violence to any human or deepfolk unwise enough to disturb them.
Slow-witted, docile creatures that typically live in shallow water in loose family groups.
Rare, strange and universally female, the jellyfolk are an enigma to the deepfolk. They never speak and usually stay floating amongst their massive swarms of jellyfish, filter-feeding and whispering softly to each other.
Often mistaken for small islands, the Giant Turtles are a peaceful species of long-lived reptiles that travel the seas of the world aimlessly.
@Old Amsterdam sub domains are minor powers and can cross over. For instance me being nature I was going to take animals as a sub domain someone who say has seas takes aquatic life he would have a stronger power over them but I would also have some power over it.
Would I need to take acquatic life to have power over that? I sorta figured it was part and parcel. If so, I'll change some stuff.

See, look, mixing things up already. That's actually one of the things that drew me to this RP, wanting to see how people would shake up conventional myth formulas.
The domains we have do seem to be forming into three distinct pantheons: Human Friendly (Mankind, Knowledge, Justice, Fertility, The Forge, arguably Lust), Human Neutral (Predation, the Moon, The Sea, Nature, The Moon, Dreams, arguably Death) and Human Hostile (War, Murder, Hell, Monsters, Corruption, etc.).
Not saying that's the way things will shake out, of course, but I think the puny mortals have enough divine forces in their corner to be decently okay - I'd be surprised if 'the human question' doesn't end up being a pretty massive part of the story and the inter-god conflict, though.
