The seemingly mindless behemoth railed against General Freedom before the simple blast sat him on his heavy ass, ironically in front of a fast food restaurant. The already ugly man was simply becoming uglier by the minute as veins bulged and popped on the man's face and neck. It was not a pretty sight, not by a long shot. Probably the only thing that could make it worse would be if the man were stuffing his face with the greasy burgers from the now defunct sign of McDolan’s.

General Freedom was torn; he had to deal with this brute all the while worrying about Kali and whatever diabolical plan she had concocted. It was already apparent that he was faster and more mobile than the one-armed freak. The problem simply was he couldn’t leave the beast, for the Splatterer’s actions were bestial in nature, alone in the city. Perhaps he could outwit the horrid looking creature. The rage filled faced, the anger and venom that oozed from the thing evoked pity more than anything else. A broken, one armed creature whose very appearance was a sad joke, where it seemed as if some pissed off god had dragged the man through a world of shit and then let him soak in it for a few thousand years.

Maybe he had to beat the man senseless. No matter what powers the freak had, he was exposed to the deadly hand to hand skill of General Freedom. He had not missed the effect his blow had on the man’s left side, the damaged side. With one arm, regardless of the stretch Armstrong effects that he had, he was still vulnerable. His powerful bursts of energy were a concern but, then General Freedom had faced Fury who had incredible burst of energy, so that was nothing new.

Every muscle of the star spangled hero was taut as he moved continually closer, until in a sudden move he raised his right hand, open palmed towards the seated Splatterer. An intense burst of light and energy raced away from General Freedom’s hand forming a bubble of ZPE rapidly interlacing itself around the seated villain. Once completed the bubble would begin to exert six-tons of kinetic force on the man’s body.

The cobalt energies swarmed around General Freedom’s arm and hand, as well as around his feet. While it was not a devastating attack, it was not supposed to be. Rather it was one designed to buy the hero time to figure out what to do regarding the Splatterer.
Yep. I have a feeling this will be one of the better fights. You both have good characters and have great writing abilities. Plus you both are keen tactical fighters.
It's not lava it's strawberry creme.
I would say you are a tad rusty it seems. Although I think you may have an option open to you.
Hmm is Rilla gonna drop another fight?
I don't know where you got the impression they are strictly logical. The Dreamers have emotions, all animals have emotions. All animals feel pain, anger, sorrow and loss, it merely is to the degree that the animal is self-aware enough to understand is the question. Any intelligence that may exist in the universe in all likelihood has some form of emotive capability even if we can only speculate on the extent of those emotional displays. Emotions in other species are viewed as an opportunity to understand and define the emotional parameters of said species. All of this is done to understand their capacity and limitations much like modern researchers conduct studies on animals today.

Skallagrim conducted a social experiment with you. Your character is what would be considered a verbal bully of the six defined bullying categories. Talking about someone in a manner that is disrespectful and in many cases hurtful. While you insulted the Queen and that is a punishable offense to the Dreamers hearkening back to a time prior their ascension. The first thing was to understand your psychology. Your actions whether an attempt to save the man, to allow him to be killed or to surrender yourself in self-sacrifice was what needed to be seen.

From your actions the Dreamers begin to place you in an ever refining category until they have enough information that they can store your dream fragment in the dark records.

Thus in our fight Skallagrim will record your actions and reactions, looking to see if you employ any stratagem in your actions or simply react and try to over power your opponent.

Dreamers are merely observers and recorders of information to be disseminated and studied by those in Slumber. Unless you are drenched in Galdhr energy they only mark your passing. If there is something unique and different then they will take more than a cursory notice of you. Watching from the shadows or if piqued enough they will approach the being or civilization.
i don't really care if you guys face the same people, for the most part, the issue is, when say Melon can only get 3-4 people to fight him, and thus can only gain points by fighting the very same people over and over again.

Or I can only get 2-3 people to face me, and only one fight thus far is for points. I think, like Rilla, you have to face everyone at sometime. It's like a small form sports league, everyone has each other once in the season at least. There is no need to make a list.
Scion, I don't understand why you keep applying human motives and emotions to the Dreamers. They are not human. They are nearly immortal beings and other than a cursory anatomical similarity they share with mankind, are not human in the least. Everything they do is carefully calculated, your choice one way or another would have been telling as to the type of personal honor code your character has, and how they would have had to deal with you.

Whether or not another character likes the Dreamers is of no concern to them. Skallagrim destroyed the Fireen home world which is why @MelonHead's Fury hunts Skallagrim and in fact most likely any Dreamer he can find across the multiverse (I'm looking at you Reaper @Rilla). If you choose to 'dislike' them so be it, use it as a story element for you character if you wish. If you look at them from a purely cosmic scale, they are neither good nor bad, they simply are. Like nature is neither good nor bad, but can be utterly and indiscriminately destructive.

Now on to our fight. I will only offer commentary of you request it.
Skallagrim stared at the man known as Scion, watched him drop is weapon, raising his hands with some interest. The energy whorls in his eye sockets flickered a moment then dimmed slightly.

Thrum.

“Peter . . . you have 8,035 days left in your life. Spend them well, we will be watching.” Skallagrim said as the bullet fell to the ground, suddenly possessed by gravity. After a moment the skeletal being drew his war sword. Talking a step forward slowly, and with his right foot, Skallagrim kicked the crumpled lounge chair away. Peter and the young girl with him hurried away. As they made their way out, Peter looked back once then at the gun he still held in his hand. With a gasp he tossed the gun down as if it were molten lava.

“I agree my Queen. He is not your typical loud mouth bully, spewing filth about people behind their backs, and passing it off as humor. He does have some honor in his body if he is willing to sacrifice all for these people.”

Tapping the dark crystalline shield with his sword, the skeletal being nodded towards Scion, his voice a static filled hissing, “I shall create an energy shield around this park, we shall be alone to settle our matter.”

With that the twisted black clouds overhead shimmered for a millisecond and then cascading sheets of lighting descended around the area they stood, creating an interlaced field of electrical energies.

“Now that we know you are more than the common braggart, take up your weapon. You think you can defeat me? Let us see.” Skallagrim said as he lowered the war sword into a rear guard, his left leg and shield forward as he studied the man before him.

Outside the energy field, Peter hastily shook away the EMTs as he dialed his house. The sound of his wife’s voice was music to his ears. “Baby I’m coming home. I am quitting my job. That trip we planned when we were first married? We’re taking it.”

Peter hurried to his minivan, fumbling for his keys when suddenly a shaft of light swirled up around him, lifting him up before vanishing with him. A moment later Peter found himself on his front lawn, Jessi next to him, “Forgive our transgression Peter Maalodoz. You and your wife shall not want for the rest of your lives. Tell no one of this, enjoy the gifts you have been given.”

Peter stared a moment, his jaw hanging slackly, suddenly the front door opened and his wife rushed out, tears in her eyes. Peter hugged her, as he did so he looked up into the sky and saw a figure in white ride away on a skeletal horse.
When I'm done with you, it will look like I set fire to your face, and put it out with an axe!
