Current Been practicing drawing for a few months now. Biggest tip I can give so far is copy, copy, copy. It really helps you learn the basics in a very hands on way,

Finally caught up on Rick and Morty. Pretty good shit. It's not every day a cartoon reminds me of my existential crisis.

The Boarder Patrol in Vermont has more important matters than illegal Mexicans. They have to stop the White Walkers.

Hey I shall post this weekend. It's been a busy couple of days!
@NewSun

No worries, I shall update the events tonight.

Oh and farewell Nightrunner! You're always welcomed to return if you find your interest again.
I'm going to be playing only 6 dudes in this, who are all in the same squad. And since it's a covert op, I won't playing a fleet, just a single squad. So my sheet will be vastly different to that of everyone else. Is that ok?

Err.... No. You still gotta fill out the sheet in its entirety, just maybe not to the extent that some people willingly took it. This is still an NRP so there is still a much greater scale for you to take into account.

PM the GM if you really really want to just have that single squad told in a linear story. He/she still has the final say on it and if you spin your idea in more detail with maybe a bit more context it might be a legitimately good idea.

Actually his unit is in the Sand Straits :P

Yeah I didn't elaborate. I've got two units as of now, one from isotope whom is in the city, the two tanks.

And a new one, the 477th which is about to push in to the desert.

Ahh, that makes more sense. I assume they will be a new one? Baptism by fire/learn the hard way why the Höllefeuer has somehow maintained a presence in that god forsaken hellhole for the past ten years?
Hopefully the 477th doesn't get owned by another predator, this "butcher"..

That would be quite impressive if the butcher was able to fly all the way to the city from the desert just to attack their tank. That would be life's subtle way of telling you to get off the planet.
Nahh, not really. Mostly smaller stuff like gas grenades used by infantry. Due to the lack of artillery or air support, gas attacks would be out of the option.

Also, he kind of has a conscious, sooo he would usually be against it.
Skepic you do know that most soldiers today have CBRN on hand as a leftover procedure from the cold war encase of nuclear attack on the front? I easily can see your agent defeating the suits (NBC suits were fairly dynamic in the cold war as each side made better chemical weapons) but they would be on hand for the simple reason that threats from NBC vectors do exist in more ways than just your one chemical.

With that in mind I would have to say better suits would exist on order but are more expensive, for the simple reason that WMD level chemical weapons can wipe out an entire army in five minutes flat.

Yeah that's what I'm sayin. The devastation of the outskirts was do mainly because nobody saw it coming. Nobody even had proper equipment, let alone get it on fast enough before the stuff stuck to them. Thus the forces within the inner city will be scrambling to break those crates open and make sure everyone has some sort of protection now that the Empire is hear to gas everyone. Also, just for fair warning, Agent 437 isn't the only horrible, disgustingly brutal chemical weapon the city will witness. ;)

/also yes, I know soldiers still have their cold war prep gear. I actually got a cousin who drives M1A1s and is always complaining how dust gets in the tanks while in convoys cause they're all from 1985 and non of their seals have been replaced. XD
It's very safe to assume yes.
@Isotope

Err, I do sort of have a problem with infantry just having advance protection, full body chem suits just on hand. I'm fine with the tanks being able to button up so to speak in case of an attack, but one of the really deadly points of Agent 437 is that you can't just throw on a gasmask and some gloves and be fine. The stuff seeps through everything and burns organic flesh. The gasmask will just let you watch longer as your body practically melts and burns away in the cloud. If the Empire's presence was already known in the city, then I would understand if the soldiers came prepared, but this a sudden attack in an area that hasn't seen the Empire in a while. However, I can easily understand if both sides took the outskirts gasing as a warning and are now rushing to get more protective chemical gear to the front. Only time will tell......

(oooh, how ominous...) :D

I'm feeling uncreative right now but have to just post, not that I'm unenthusiastic, just lazy and draggin'. Sorry guys.

No worries man, this isn't a rushed RP, so take your time.
Her accent clearly made her out to be from Germany, a place she had flown to in the past as it was one of the more civilized parts of the Earth after the calamity.

Obviously it was a long.... long time ago when she last visited Germany. I anticipate dialogues essentially like:

"Oh you're from Germany? I've been there? Hows that nice little country?"

"It was an irradiated, chemically saturated, and literally on fire from all the Napalm strikes the last time I was there...."

"Oh..... huh...."
