If you're reading this segment, you'll find that I am a 20 year old female currently living in Iowa, USA. Iowa is my home, and where I was born and raised. I've spent probably the last 5+ years roleplaying, although it's been on a vast variety of platforms. I had joined this website about two years ago, and just recently returned in hopes of stepping back into the realm of roleplay once more, now that I'm a bit older and mature.
I could consider myself a high casual / advanced roleplayer, although I don't tend to put a proper label on those sorts of things. One thing's for sure, I absolutely despise one-liners, at least on a forum's outlook. With what feels like unlimited characters, why waste that on a one-liner?
I am quite the romantic, and I often require it in a lot of my RPs. I also prefer to have mature roleplay partners, ones who can handle a bit of intensity in an RP, whether or not that's smut, intense battles, angst, etc. Drama and smut are always thrilling, so why not incorporate them?
Other than that, I'm pretty open with roleplaying. I enjoy a variety of genres ( medieval, romance, fantasy, etc), although there are a couple that I really stray away from. Anything to do with anime, furries, or fandoms is just really not my cup of tea and I really don't enjoy RPing such. That may be a hard line for some, but that's my line and I rarely move it.

When Aegnith heard the hushed whispers, a shudder passed through her, and she would give a slight shake of her head before the hunters of Kob would leave, but they would remain still for hours to come.
While Kor went out into the forest with the children, and took a bit longer to return, it had begun to raise the question of leaving them all behind. Mildor, and the majority of the elves, were appalled by the decision to almost leave them.
"Replaceable?" He would scoff angrily, a chorus of agreements behind him. "You're ridiculous, leaving defenseless and innocent children behind. Anyone who agree is just as bad as the disgusting demons living in the pits of the mountains." He shook his head, another scoff sounding from him. "Mad, the lot of you."
He was cut off by the screams and running of the children back to them, and Kor's exclamation of a guardian. Aegnith would look alarmed, sharing a distant look with Mildor, who would lightly nod towards her before hell temporarily broke loose, dust shooting up and temporarily surrounding them, scaring the wits out of some of the kids. When it settled, it revealed a small band of puggers coming towards their way.
"Really? We're going to waste our time with these pitiful things?" Mildor muttered, watching from the sidelines for a brief moment. "Aegnith, get your spear." He looked at the elves. "Take the trees, rain hell on these pitiful dogs. We shan't waste our time with such low priority things. We have bigger things to worry about."

Mildor remained silent throughout the exchange, taking note how some of these newcomers were hiding, and just taking in the sheer number of them.. Oh dear. Giving a low sigh, he lightly rubbed his forehead and would look about at the remaining caravan that had survived the calamity. He took notice of the elves as they seemed wary, and lifted a hand to soothe them. "Just keep watch, and be alert. We never know when another attack from the beasts of the mountain can occur." They would nod and would begin to keep a careful watch.
Aegnith stood by her lonesome to the side, watching the exchange quietly, her blonde hair gently blowing in the breeze that had begun to build and blow around them. Giving a low sigh, she'd turn her eyes to the mountain, feeling it's presence deep within her core. It frazzled her, looking at it.

Mildor stared at him for a moment, understanding the true seriousness of the man's request. Lifting a hand to lightly scratch at his jaw, he would let out a low sigh. "You're.. Actually talking to the wrong person, I'm afraid. While I'm adept when it comes to combat, my sister is the one who's true scouting and tracking is most proficient, as well as her ability with stealth. You may have more look with her, to be honest." A pause would come from the elf before he would murmur, his face still serious, "I will help you in regards to relieving Sargom of the object He wishes to have, but as far as tracking your sister.. My own would benefit you the most."

Finally deciding to post my own interest check!
Some things you should know about this interest check:
- A roleplay partner that doesn't mind that I am currently in college, and so my posting will be scattered throughout the week, but my weekends should expect some pretty active posting.
- There will be multiple genres provided - I am pretty flexible with the type of genre you may choose and may want to pursue, and if there is anything that you want to tweak, just let me know!
- This is tagged a mature roleplay. That means I would prefer it if you are 18+, as I am, and that mature content is expected to happen. I am also pretty flexible with the relationship types that we can conjure - MxF, FxM, MxM, FxF. Doesn't matter to me - I can roleplay both genders and I am comfortable with RPing all sorts of relationships!
- This RP can be anywhere you'd like. We can create a thread in the 1x1 board and move to PMs whenever mature content comes about, or just stick it to PM to limit that hassle - Whatever works for you!
Now, for the fun part, the genre types!
I listed multiple genres in the tags, some of them being Romance, Fantasy, Nation, Slice of Life, Sci-Fi, and Post-Apocalyptic. Here are some of my ideas for each genre!
REMINDER: All listed plots can be expected to have some mature content within them, so be aware of that. It may be listed as Romance, but this overall Interest Check IS 18+.

Post-Apocalyptic / Romance / Nation [18+]
EDIT: Because of the high demand on this plot, I'll have to close it for now!
- Walking Dead similar roleplay. Zombies are still present, but the overall shock of their presence is over and is now considered normal. Safe towns are scattered throughout the country, as well as citizens taking the necessary precautions in order to survive. The internet is no longer usable, but some landline phones are still usable. Cars are scarce, unless you find a viable gas source. Transportation would be considered either on foot, or on horseback. Guns are important, and raids or trades with other towns for guns and ammunition is also common. Our characters could either run into each other in a safe town, or outside in zombie territory, one saving the other from death. The meeting is up to you.
Fantasy / Romance / Nation / Military (Based off of the book series, The Red Queen) [18+]
- There are two factions - The Elves and the Humans. Halflings can occur, but is a rarity due to each of the faction's distaste to one another. The elves are the highest within the country, or believe that they have divine ownership over the land. Humans are the lower, working middle class, while the elves are up within the royal and higher rankings of society. The country is currently at war with another that views the roles differently, and the elves are using the humans as "disposable pawns", with elves being the generals. Our characters could be elf x human, or from different sides of the war, whichever best works for you.
Slice of Life / Military / Modern / Romance [18+]
- Involved with the more modern / realistic world. Both characters can live in different parts of the country and meet via online. Jobs can be expected to be relatively normal jobs [lawyer, nursing, teacher, the trades, military, etc.]. Relationships would work out similar to how relationships exist within current society. Overall, a plot based within our current society. Flexibility is the key within this plot.
Sci-Fi / Futuristic / Romance / Military [18+] (based off of the web comic - The Starfighter)
- The humans of Earth are currently at war with an alien force currently trying to invade the planet. All combat has been done within space between their two planets, involving fighting space ship/jets with safe areas housing space stations throughout their designated territories within space. The characters would either be involved in a relationship and one is in the war, or they meet through military training and are assigned partnership for combat.
