Hoping my partners/groups see this. Very sick. High fever for three days. Finally downgraded. Will reply when I can stay awake.

Bio

Hate writing my biography but also don't like it when people don't have one so...Long time role player. Enjoy writing many different genres (favourites are cyberpunk/near future and high fantasy). Prefer advanced stories/plots and 1x1's. I like to have depth to stories and characters. Not fond of high school role plays or fandoms/fanfic.

No worries on when you get to post. I am not a picky person and this weekend I am busy Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

I don't know that you need to post it but will let you decide that obviously.
Bach Mai Hospita, Hanoi

The smell of antiseptic cleaner filled the air but she was so used to it she rarely noticed now. Based on the face of the man who passed her in the hall he was not used to it. Yvette suppressed a smile at the man's sour face. In truth it wasn't so bad. Harsh at times and it did seep into her uniform and skin but it was nothing a bath and some oil could not get rid of. It meant though that the place was clean and sterile. For the men recovering here that was the top priority.

That and ensuring they were not in pain.

She pulled on the thin chain of her watch, checking the time. Soon she would begin rounds with the doctor to check on the patients. As Yvette tucked the tiny watch back into her apron pocket she heard a slight commotion from a nearby room.

The man there was a newer arrival to the hospital. She had not yet been in to see him, in fact he would be one of the new patients they saw on rounds but the rustling told her that he was awake now.

Yvette knew he had been unconscious when they brought him in and she knew he would be confused, disoriented and likely in a great deal of pain now if he was waking.

She entered the room and crossed quickly to his bedside. "It's alright. You are in the hospital in Hanoi. They sent you here to recover."

Yvette moved to the bedside table and poured some water from the waiting pitcher into a glass. "Here, your throat will be very dry."

She sat on the bed, near his chest and moved the glass to his lips. She prayed for him to be calm. Some of the men turned violent when agitated and at only 5'4 she was not able to fend them off, hold them down or stop them from hurting themselves or her. She could scream for help but that tended to cause a huge commotion and startle the other patients. She only hoped he was aware enough to know she was there to help him.

Hahaha autocorrect! Collabs!

Oh the images in my head now.
One of my big pet peeves and why I often resort to collars.

I also don't mind editing to make a post more polished, really for me it is about the flow and I personally like collars.
I have always had good luck with shared write pads in one form or another. People reply and then one person can copy/paste to the forum. Helps with flow of interaction in my experience.

One long term game I am still in is only three people and everything is done in google so we can react as needed without a weird break of flow for dialogue or short posts.

Also it helps if you have a group who demands 300+ words and can't because you are mid conversation with another character.

Just my experience mind :)
Agreed that is why I like collabs like docs for allowing that flow/give and take. Got the doc up and will add to it shortly.
I find dialogue can slow things down and make for short posts as you wait for people to reply. I like google docs or write pads for collab scenes with dialogue.

If there is interest we can set that up. give the characters a chance to interact.
Was thinking perhaps someone else and if they want to interact with us we can open a pad to write together for dialogue flow.

Thoughts?
Imogen sipped her tea as Sven talked. Her eyes moved around the room as she took in the others she was working with. Jack was unlike other men she socialized with and very much an American. She had grown used to his more rugged manners and found an odd security in his presence.

Alyssana was a researcher and that was something Imogen understood. Her time with her husband had taught her so much in terms of research. Imogen knew that working with her as an assistant was a place where she could be most useful. She wasn't sure her socialite status would help with this mission so Imogen made a mental note to talk to Alyssana to find out what she might be able to help her with.

Imogen scribbled neat notes as Sven talked about traps, needing more intelligence on the treasure hunters and souls. These would be things to keep at the forefront of her mind. She wondered how she might help with the treasure hunters. While they wouldn't be at a party her ability to talk and socialize, to get people talking might come in handy if she could find an in. The talk of armed escort once again made her nervous but that was her issue. The others seemed fine with guns and fighting.

They were dismissed and Imogen stood, packing up her things. She looked over at Alyssana.

"Ms Grey. I was thinking that we might gather some books or material to go over about this particular subject. I would be happy to help research for any little bits of information that might help us in this. I am not much of a physical help for this team so if there is anything else I can do please let me know."

She smiled and slipped her blazer back on.
