"You know how it is with girls." The tallest repeated in a mocking voice as he was about to do something before the leader held up his hand in a gesture as telling him to stop.

"You do not seem to understand the gravity of the situation you are in." β€” "Death penalty!" He ignored him. "The Witch is to be executed. If it turns out you are purposefully hiding her..." β€” "Sssslit." The tallest slit his thumb along his neck.

"Let's split up." Considering the size of his fine establishment, there wasn't too much to split up. Nonetheless, the three opened all kinds of cabinets and lockers, with the leader dissapearing inside the (empty) bathroom.

"Oooops. How clumsy of me!" While some flasks crashed on the ground after the tall one ACCIDENTALLY pushed them away.

Only the silent one of the three seemed somewhat reasonable?

"Did someone use the bath tub?" The leader yelled from inside the other room. A rhetorical question? After all, there was a May supposed to be here.
After the Goliath was obliterated and Rose took quick care of the remaining soldiers, Yuno felt... not all too different. Wasn't she supposed to feel exhausted? To be content? Happy that... "R-Rose, a-are you alright?" Yuno rushed, somewhat crawled, over. Herself resembling more something humanoid with flesh and steel than an actual little girl.

"You did... great." There was more Yuno wanted to say. More she wanted Rose to know. But the girl was also felt afraid, afraid of rejection. Yeah, certainly. It was good that she felt anything at all, wasn't it?

Looking at Greene, whom she ignored at first, Yuno was certain that she could... what was it called again? This certainty that he'd never betray her. A calm reassurance that, with Greene around, they would have it just that much easier. Yeah, she could entrust her life to him. Yuno was sure of that.

"Thank you." She also thanked him, not even questioning if he did as much as hit a single enemy. "You're right." She wished he was not. "I... We... have to patch ourselves up." It felt disgusting and wrong. A deed so sinister she would never be able to call herself human again. But it was also a necessary evil.

...

Flesh molding with flesh and steel alike, Yuno looked just a little bit more like her somewhat innocent self from before. "I..." What were they supposed to do with the rest? At first, she felt sorry. Then, pure hatred. But now? Nothing at all. It was difficult to be truly certain which of these feelings were hers and not, but wasn't indifference an emotion in itself?

Yuno shook her head. "I don't care. What about you, Rose?" Instead, she let her dear sister decide.

Muu 2, the Mooing.

@OwO You're weak c:!

May.
A name that was carried by none.
At least not living in this particular place.

Whatever November made out of this, the Alchemist could only wonder as seconds continued to pass. Few, at first, and then many more. The gentlemen opposite of him were calm at first. But only for that long.

"Shortly." The tallest scoffed.
"Tzch." The other spit on the ground.
"May we come in?" Despite his courteous behavior, it sounded more like command than question. "You don't want to fall under suspicon of aiding a criminal, right?" A simple threat, as he took one step forward to put his boot between door and frame.
November tilted her head a bit. "With time? I'm not sure if taking your time is what you want to do when there is the possibility your humble house might burn down." November simply stated before giving a small bow and entering the backroom. Right. Hot baths were used to relax and clean oneself, wasn't it? That was... a smart idea. Yeah, your body is a temple, or something like that, wasn't it? Without further ado, November stripped herself naked before entering the tub. Truly, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

A hour and a bit more passed.

"That's the place?" He pointed at a humble alchemist's hut.
"That's the place." The other confirmed.
"Let's burn it down. I h-" A maniac grin revealed itself behind a cloaked face.
"Wait. Sigh You goddamn Pyromaniac. There might be innocents." He was kept in check.
"Who cares?" A hunch of apathy, mixed with disappointment.
"I care. Now huush." He finally silenced him.
"So, what's the plan? Are you implying we're going to behave like reasonable people and knock on the door?" The tallest said in a sarcastic tone.
"That's the plan." Their leader replied calmly.
"But our orβ€” hey, wait! It's a, uh, shop. Can't we just enter anyway?" The two followed.

As the sun was already setting, Allereun could hear a strong knock on his door. As the young boy opened it, three males - shrouded in white robes adorned with golden caricatures of The One's only religion - were standing there. One, tall and slim. The other two about the same height, with one having a clearly muscular build.

"Good Evening." He greeted the Alchemist, before cutting right to the chase. "We have reasons to believe you're giving shelter to a criminal we're hunting." The other, not-tall guy, whistled in a fashion of paying respect. "Female. Blonde hair. Blue eyes." He scratched his chin. "Ring any bells?" The other budged in.
Nothing. There was absolutely nothing. And yet, it meant everything. There was clarity.

Was it basic survival instinct? Did she finally break? Or something different altogether? A split? Did it even matter? It was futile. Impossible. Miracles were for fools. What had she even been so sad about mere seconds ago? People die if they were killed.

How much had she known any of them anyway? A few days. A few hours. She was alive. The other's were dead. The reason for that was obvious. No, Muu wasn't weak. It was a small victory, truly, but a victory nonetheless.

Muu could still continue. Still go on. Feeling weirdly light-headed, Muu got up. The pain of her muscles, her hunger and thirst, the sickening odor of rain and sweat. It all didn't matter. Only survival. A quick glance towards the strongest in their small group. Ettamri was truly something else. A beast, about to sacrifice itself.

Muu's lips slightly curled up as she set one foot in front of the other. Yeah, she certainly couldn't deny that the Beast was that much stronger than Muu herself. "Thank you..." She whispered, before setting off... No. Not quite. She was alive, but what did it matter if the second she came to town she'd be imprisoned, or worse? Sure, miracles were for fools, but that didn't mean that Muu was super unfortunate. She was, after all, just a mouse. Or, considering what she was about to do, a hyena. Thankfully Ettamri's obliterated war-steed was rather easy to find.

Thus, taking whatever valuables she could carry, Muu quickly set herself to flee, too. She simply had to get away. Get away and live another day. Without regrets. No regrets. Yeah, that was exactly what she would repeat to herself over and over as a single tear was shed.
Aloha!

I wanted to change my avatar to this but it ends up looking like it was thrown through the grinder by someone who hates all things anime! ... Only on RPGuild, thou.

nvm I should actually read. Something something resizing =_="

Can be deleted or whatever.
Ahem. Something something two day posting-cycles. Maybe I should come more often online than just once a week on RPGuild >__>

Also, "when Yuno was suddenly not the attention of the enemies attention anymore," I don't know what I was thinking there but very likely nothing. 10/10 grmr.

And lastly, the Soldiers actually moved, huh. But if I am not mistaken Goat killed em.
Thanks for waiting! We shall now continue~

Yuno was still standing. With most of her body more-or-less disfigured and mutilated, it was only her strong bones and mechanical composition that was keeping her from complete annihilation. Nonetheless, the girl was confident. It was a battle of attrition, one she was positive they would win.

Thus, when Yuno was suddenly not the attention of the enemies attention anymore, she could only become that much angrier. How could they dare to hurt Rose?! Unforgivable. Unforgivable. Unforgivable. Unforgivable! Somewhere, a part of her, had thought of these contraptions as monstrosities that deserved her pity. Simply victims. But now? No. They had to be put down...
