My Very Brief Bio

Male, 33 years old. (I'm even more dead than before.)

Likes (other than writing and roleplaying): I'm into all genres of music. I love to cook. I love the outdoors, and walking through the park near my house. (Yes, really.) I read a lot of thriller/mystery novels. And I usually watch seasonal anime. (Or cooking shows. Because Western Media provides even fewer things that are worth watching.)

But as for my many other neglected hobbies, I've played basically every sport. (Soccer and Bowling being my favorite of the bunch.) And I'm trying to play more video games. (Going through my never-ending Steam library.) Plus, I've dabbled in making electronic & metal music, and I used to play a number of instruments. (Guitar, French Horn, etc.)

Pretty much nonexistent.
To be honest, I really haven't read anything (well real books) in several months. :I I've read a shit ton of books, usually whatever my mom gives me. But there almost never anything I write about which I find weird. But I just find the mystery genre, great to read. But I'd likely never write one outright. The last fantasy book I read was kind of boring as piss. So, yeah I probably should read more. But with anime, music, and outdoors and writing, gaming and interacting with friends. Books have sort of fallen out of my current hobbies. :/

Helps if people are writing about something interesting, or try to be funny or like have conflict and also don't outright suck at writing. Because being honest nobody wants to read, especially if it's long, if it has no conflict. Meandering is not fun to read about, no matter how pretty your purple prose is. It also helps when people are on the same page. Don't do page long collabs if you don't tell others what it's about. But yes people should read the posts if they join a RP. Especially the GM. :/

However, somebody mentioned failing to miss a detail or not respecting the CS. So I may offer a counterpoint...if it's something minor and can be easily roleplayed out of, or is something maybe understandable for their character to not know. (player knowledge and character knowledge should be different.) Don't start whining about it. Doesn't do anything but waste time. I've seen so many unnecessary rules (or straight out unwritten rules) for CS's that constantly get selectively broken anyway. That when I see someone nitpicking about it, they almost always come across as a hypocrite. Personal experience.

I've seen plenty of unnecessary nitpicking that would drive me crazy in most scenario's. Fake example of something I've seen something like it several times. A character tells a 2nd character whose eating "I see you're eating chicken, I like that too." If you wrote that you ate lettuce in your last post. You don't need to bitch incessantly in OOC that you're character is a vegetarian and they should know that (they don't, the character just met you.) and blah blah. Just write "Need to check you're eyeballs, this is lettuce" 2nd character said. Crisis averted.

I got dragged to see Guardians of the Galaxy back when it came out despite me being completely convinced that the superhero genre is played by now.

Gotta say, that one is pretty good. It didn't feel so generic like all the other ones. It has personality, which is needed for a movie. I'd be up to see the second one tbh.

Well I apparently missed some of my brother's favorites. Winter Solider is another one I've yet to see. I'm a little cynical when I go to movies, more often than not. Which only helps the joke, of I hate everything. I straight up did NOT want to see 'The Avengers' in theaters with my friends, but I saw it and it was damn enjoyable. Sort of the same reaction with this movie. Maybe I am a little too cynical. I'll probably never work on it. <.<

How's work going? ;D
7/10 Fairly simple production, but it was enjoyable enough. I enjoy myself a little sax.

Not a big ambient fan, but Devin Townsend can basically do anything.

Well these weekend, aside from getting sick and learning my cable company again, lied and failed to do anything but piss me off. I got to see Guardians Of The Galaxy 2. I was not really looking forward to it, because I hadn't watched the entire first one yet and people hyped it so much, I had some doubt that it was going to be that good. Plus, I usually don't find comedies very funny.

So...yeah, the movie was fantastic. Best special effects of all the marvel movies, basically every joke worked and was quite funny. Cracked up several times and the musical choices were interesting and wasn't a moment of boredom. (aside from maybe waiting for the FIVE after credit scenes.) The emotional beats actually worked and made me emotional. My family and brother liked it more than the first one and said it was basically better in every way. So, I'd highly recommend it.

Hopefully my sickness goes away quickly, it annoys me I can't take advantage that it's not raining today and go outside. Because I feel like this. (and it's probably not smart to go out anyway.) >.<
