John arrived back at the scene where it seemed the Titans had destroyed the robot while he was gone. "Brava!" he shouted, clapping. "That bastard got away but it seems like you guys dealt with the robot. Good job newbies," he said as he walked over to the hole. He looked down and saw that Alexia and Sam were already down there. He slid down into the cavernous space and took in his surroundings. It seemed as if this had been under the city for thousands of years.
John had just enough time to create a ball of light over John that blocked the bullets. He noticed through the transparent surface of the shield that a gas was surrounding him. And the shooter was gone. John lifted the shield once the damage was clear and cursed. Suddenly, a deafening noise rang through the area, forcing John to cover his ears. John looked up at Jezebel and said, "We better get back."
John kept chasing after the shooter, but his energy was running out. He had never been a great long distance runner and he had been running as fast as he could for a solid five minutes. But he couldn't let this asshole get away. In one last attempt to capture the shooter, John summoned a whip made of blue light and struck it towards the villain. The whip extended quickly and snapped across the shooter's ankle.
John had rolled behind the guardian and was in midair when he felt a burning pain in his back. He knew he'd been shot. And suddenly, the pain was gone and he was back up. John looked around for his attacker. He wasn't about to let some asshole get away with shooting him. John retreated back to where the other Titans were before he got pummeled. He spied a crane that was still standing. John shot beams of light down into the ground, propelling him upwards and leaving black marks in the dirt. John landed on top of the crane, a jolt shooting through his body. He looked down at the fight, looking for anyone who shouldn't be there. He saw Serena, Armelia, Jezebel, Alexia, and Sam. And someone else. Running for a hiding spot it looked like. John dove towards the being, using light to catch him. He ran after the guy, trying to stop him from fleeing.

I would agree. Though I would assume that their powers could cancel eachother's out. Such as John could kill Sam's shadow creatures and vice versa
John listened as Serena listed the robot's powers. Nothing he couldn't handle. "Does anyone know why it's just ignoring us?" Serena asked. John wasn't sure. What he was sure of was the bodies that were strewn everywhere. "I don't know. But I don't really care. It's obviously a threat. And this is how we deal with the threats here in Jump City," John said. Then he rushed forward, sprinting at the giant creature. Once he got it's attention he'd roll out of the way and attack from behind. There was no way that thing could withstand his light.
John thought about looks suggestion. The town did need ammo and firearms. "Sure. We could use weapons and I'm running low on ammo anyhow," he said. "If you want to go grab a couple of people I'll make up supply packs. Who knows what'll happen out there," he said as he started walking towards storage. "I'll be in the storage room once you get a group together."
John nodded as Luke told his story. He laughed when he asked him if he knew how to use the katana. "There's not much of a technique to it. I just slash around a lot until there's no more zombies," he said, laughing. "I like to keep a melee weapon on me so that I don't die when I run out of ammo," John said, smiling.
John laughed. He took the kid's hand and shook it. "I'm John. John Wallace. I got here the 4th day after the world went to shit," he said, chuckling. He noticed the kid looking at the shotgun and the kitana. Most people did. Not everyone was as lucky as him. John had looted these from some crazy guy's house. The dude had had a shit ton of pistols and what not. "I lived just north of here but that lace went quick. What about you?"
John steered the light ship over the city, following the others. He saw some giant black dome that covered an area. Probably the construction site from T.V. John flew through the dome and saw everyone else. He dropped the others off and used his powers to have a sword of light materialize in his hand. John watched as a robot like thing paced in a giant hole. "What in the hell is that thing?" he asked no one in particular.
