John landed on the roof of the tower and made his way downstairs. He saw Superboy talking to Armelia in her room but thought nothing of it. It had been a long day. There were 2 new Titans and 2 rejoins. John decided that what they all needed was to sit down and talk. Today had been hectic and as he walked into the kitchen he decided to get to work and start making some dinner. So he pulled out a pot, and a box of the one thing he could make. Pasta.
John smiled at Alyssa and said, "You wanna go get some food? My treat," he offered, running his hands through his hair. He didn't know what Alyssa was thinking right now but he knew what he was. He was undeniably in spiraling crush mode with one of his best friends. So maybe it was real. John figured that he'd never know if he didn't try.
John was walking through the school, holding the straps of his backpack. He'd just gotten out of his media class and was looking for Alyssa. He needed to talk to her. He finally made his way outside where he saw Tanya and Lin. He walked over, waving and asked, ""Hey do you guys know if Alyssa is still here?"
John followed behind the other newbies as the ship opened up and they filed out. He could hear shouting on the other side and figured it was for the doctor. He wondered what the facility was like, and more importantly, what the people would be like.
John sat in the ship, nervous and nauseous. His stomach felt empty, even though he'd eaten three muffins in the past hour. He looked over at the doctor and observed. This was the man who had given him his powers. Interesting. He seemed just like an ordinary scientist. Except for the highly intelligent gleam in his eye, he could have been just any run of the mill doctor. John sat back as the ship flew closer to his new home, at least his new home for the time being. He was still determined to find out what had happened to his parents and his stint with Aurora would hopefully help instead of heed him.

Bio: John grew up in a happy home. His parents were both scientists for a company that he never really knew the name of and they lived in a nice house in LA. However, when John was 16 he was running an errand for his parents and when he got back, they were gone. The house was trashed and his parents were gone. Of course, John called the police but before they arrived, the attackers tried to finish the job. And he ran. Fast and far until, when he was 17 he discovered Aurora. John thought he was just getting a simple day job but it turned into something much different. He still doesn't know what happened to his parents, but he's determined to find out.

John grabbed his keys and waved to Alluria before walking into the garage and getting into his car. He inserted the keys and turned on the car, the engine revving loudly. John opened the garaged door and pulled out, closing it behind him. He started driving down the street towards school while a song by Paramore blared on the radio. He looked down at the time and sighed in relief. He had a bit of time before he had to get to his first class.

John nodded at Superboy's request and summoned his platform of light. They were gonna need a lot of discussion when they got back to the tower. They almost lost one of their own today. It could have been much worse. Maybe they all needed to pass the share bear and talk about themselves. John smirked as he stepped on the platform and floated in the air, leaving enough space for someone else to get on if need be.
John waved to the girl. He turned to Tanya, "I was just waiting to see if anyone needed a ride there," then he turned to the girl, Alluria, and answered her question. "A man named Mathias Blackwell. Hes a... businessman." John said, almost spilling the beans about the Slayers.
