As John continued running he finally reached the woods. As he enters, he notices a girl all in bright white clothes. He raises his hands in a sign of peace, but then lowers them, realizing that to Outcasts, raising hands was a bigger threat than lowering them. He stopped in his tracks, looking at her and offering a smile. "Hey," he said, panting a bit. "You know you aren't very hidden, what with those bright white clothes on," he said, smirking to himself since she probably couldn't see it in the dark.

> > Yup. I can't do anything till books is online. Oh and John started talking to Shade if you didn't notice Plazma > > I noticed. I edited my post a while ago. He finished changing his 3 minutes after I did. I don't know if he plans on using the paper I gave him or not though :/ Lol so I edited my post so that it acknowledged the whole paper thing and now I think we are finally on the same page lol

Originally, I was going to make Violet a healer or a with superhuman strength, but Electrokinesis is. . > > > > > > > > **_shocking._** > > > > > > ....I see what you did there! > > > > > > Just make sure you don't get sweapt up in your own **Current**! > > > > > > > I'll try not to. The result could be **_electrifying._** > > Alright. Just wanted to make sure. You can never be too careful when it comes to **Surges** like that. I think you guys need to right a book of puns. Like for real

John looked at the kid skeptically. "You were gonna sleep on top of a telephone pole?" he questioned, disbelief smeared across his face. He'd never met an outcast in Redbridge who'd even thought of something like that. Though he could see the benefits. There was no need to be on your guard all the time, watching for killers and thieves. Maybe he should invite the kid with him. "Look, if you want, you can come with me. We can spend the night in that house over there," John said, gesturing behind him to the small house on the hill, "and then, come morning, you can stay with me and we'll both be able to sleep easier knowing that there's someone between us and an angry Outcast, or you can set off on your own again." John finished, looking at the kid who, at closer examination, was about his age. Just then, the radio announcement came on. Once it finished up, he saw the kid running off toward a building and then disappearing, but not before pushing a piece of paper into his hand. It was smart to disappear. The blades would probably be looking for a culprit and John was close enough to the city that they could find him. John thought about his choices for a bit before deciding on running towards the woods. He didn't want to be around when the Blades got there.
John looked at their team. It seemed solid. A shapeshifter, a psion, Candy King, and himself. He'd be scared to go up against them. He had been watching the Captain as they had joined and she seemed less than pleased with him and Candy King joining. That was fine. The sarcasm wasn't there for no reason. But he had noticed her slight smile when Jayke had walked over. John didn't know what it meant and he wasn't a gossip but he saw what he saw. Jayke had made that very scary woman smile. He felt like that didn't happen for everybody.

John was walking through the city, stepping over random debris that had been left by looters when the shield had come down. He had a messenger bag slung over his shoulder. In it was his laptop which he had outfitted with some solar panels he found in the city, a bag of stale chips, probably one of the last, and a copy of his favorite book, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. He looked around. He was near a small house on a hill and the sun was going down. He had been searching the forest for any clues on how to bring down the shield but he hadn't found any. He was a long way from his apartment where he had lived with his sister, Lily. It was then, as some of the last rays of sun hit Redbridge that he spotted something. No. Someone. Someone climbing on top of a telephone pole. "Hey!" he shouted. "What're you doing?" he asked, intrigued by one of the first people he'd seen all day.
Sounds cool
I'd be interested
TK smirked at Meta's comment about the captain. While she was scary in her own sense, he was intrigued by her. She hadn't demonstrated her powers, nor had she said her real name. All things he could pry into while they were investigating an attack on a bank. He sauntered up to her, smirking and said, "Lucky, lucky you Captain. You get me on your team. Hope you feel honored. And I hope you feel crushed Turtle Boy," TK said, shooting a glance at Leo, "I'm a real fun guy to have on your team."
