John beamed as Alex suggested a party. "I'm in for sure. I could use a break from all this college stuff," he said, smiling. He was actually excited to be going. He felt like he deserved the time away from working on class stuff, which he'd probably be doing tomorrow. And plus, John enjoyed spending time with his friends and if it was just gonna be them it was all the better. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lilly jumped up and down in excitement when Alex suggested a party at his place. "YES I AM SO IN!" she shouted, drawing a few glances from passerby. Parties were her scene and it was even better that her brother agreed to come. She couldn't say that she really needed the break from life seeing as how her class attendance was spotty at best but she was always excited to go to a good party, especially one with friends and a new sound system.
Finn shouted at the beast as he ran to the left, trying to distract it from chasing Raffy. He swung his staff upwards and five icicles, about the size of his forearm, appeared and launched themselves at the behemoth. They hit the creature in the face and while they were too small to do much damage to the hulking beast, they still pissed it off. "OVER HERE YOU BIG UGLY BASTARD! YOUR MOTHER WAS PROBABLY WORKING IN ABYSS' BROTHEL WHEN SHE HAD YOU YOU STINKING BEAST!" Finn shouted, waving his hands in the air.
Finn noticed Nariah getting up and the others crowding around by her. He rolled backwards, barely escaping the behemoth's swipe with his giant claw. Finn made a sweeping gesture with his staff and a barrage of snow was sent towards the creature's face, just enough to keep him distracted while Finn ran to the others. As he reached his companions he heard Nariah speak of working together to bring the beast down. He smirked and said, "So we're working together now are we? Well if you alright with allowing an elf to help you guys, I can keep that demon pinned to the ground while you work on killing it," he said, panting and wiping the sweat off of his forehead.
John noticed Alex make a slight noise as he read the text he'd gotten on his phone. It was a noise of interest. He looked over at Alex and smirked. "What are you 'hmming' about?" John inquired, hoping that Alex would have an idea that would make the night fun. John might not have been one for parties, that was his sister's thing, but after a long week of classes, he'd be up for almost anything that would take his mind off of the stress of school.
TK was exhausted, and he didn't think he could take another hit from Ethereal. He had exhausted a lot of his energy in stopping the construct and he didn't know if he could fight his partner anymore. So as Ethereal gathered his will, he closed his eyes, ready to accept defeat. It was a skill he had learned long ago. Pick the battles you want to win. This was a battle he wanted to lose. At worst, Captain and Leo would smack him around. But the others still wouldn't know how good he was with his powers, and that meant he was still a wild card. That was another lesson he had learned long ago. Always be the wild card.
John watched as his other friends approached, smiling at Alex's joke after Autumn fell. He then noticed that everyone who had a sibling at school, was with their sibling right then and he began to wonder where Lilly was. "God damn it, if Lilly skipped class again," he muttered aloud, not really intending to speak. Just then he heard a sarcastic voice sound off behind him, asking him what he'd do if she had skipped class again. He turned to look at her and gave her a slightly angry gaze that he couldn't really hold because he knew deep down that his sister would do whatever the hell she wanted, and he couldn't do anything about it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lilly finally spotted her brother and their friends not that far away from her. She smiled and made her way over, not worrying about the fact that she was a paint stained mess. As she came up behind her brother she heard him mutter about how he was gonna be pissed if she had skipped class again. She smirked and said, "Oh let's be honest here brother. What're are you going to do if I did skip class?" she asked as she placed her arm on his shoulder and leaned on him, playfully shoving him every now and then. "Hi guys," she said, waving.
John sat idly in his class, listening to his teacher drone on and on about the history of film, a subject that he really cared very little about. He looked up at the clock by the door and...RING...the rest of the class bolted, and John followed closely behind, excited to finally be done with classes for the day. As he left the building and walked outside, breathing in the fresh air as he did and running a hand through his blonde hair, a sign that he was exhausted from the day. He spotted one of his friends, Alex. He walked over to him and once he got closer he waved and said, "Hey bro," right as Gwyn ran straight into Alex. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lilly had skipped class. She had gotten up in the morning, had put a canvas on her easel and had begun painting, stopping once she realized she was late for her first class and then starting up again, deciding that she would just paint the day away. She finally finished and stepped back, admiring her work. The painting was of a blue flower that Lilly had sketched one day. She didn't think it was a particular flower, but Lilly wasn't exactly a botanist, and she figured she could have pulled the idea from a flower she had seen one time. She wiped the paint off of her hands onto an already paint stained shirt and walked outside, her hair tangled and messy. She took a breath of fresh air and figured that the last class of the day must have gotten out based on the traffic. She went on her way, looking for her brother, or one of her friends.
Thanks!
Name: John Marshall Age:19 Appearance: Personality: John is anything but boring. He parties a lot for sure. You can always count on him to be the first one on the dance floor. But he's also extremely creative and intelligent, always thinking up a new idea, or contemplating old ones. He's protective of his little sister, but he treats her more like a friend and an equal than his little sister. Bio: John was born into a house where art was commonplace. His mother was a musician and his dad was an actor, as well as a painter. But his parents didn't force art upon him. He found it on his own, the day he picked up a camera and began to film. He discovered that that's what he wanted to do, and his parents showered him with gifts. His sister was born a year after he was and they were the best of friends, doing most everything together. When his sister got accepted to the same college as him, they celebrated big time, ecstatic that what their parents called, "Team Trouble," was reunited. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Lilly Marshall Age: 18 Appearance: Personality: Lilly is your typical "starving artist." She's smart, liberal, and opinionated. She'll tell you how it is, and she does what she likes. But she's also fiercely loyal, and she wouldn't ever think of betraying a friend, or her brother. She loves her brother and sometimes considers him her best friend, since they're so close in age. Bio: Lilly has always been the rebel of her family. Her dad always said that she took after her mom. And her mom would smile and laugh and say that she took after her dad. Lilly would then smile and laugh because she knew her parents had done worse things than go to parties when they were told not to. So maybe she isn't the biggest rebel in her family. But she is compared to her brother. When Lilly was two she fell in love with painting and since then she has never been seen without a brush on her person. She got into school on a scholarship and was ecstatic that she would be going to her brother's college.
I'm in!
