Anyone else already hypothesizing about who's gonna get taken on the quest? Cause I am
@NightOwl And that would be an even better reason to have Erin along. Seeing as how she's a Daughter of Hades. Maybe Eli got captured or something and he was forced to drink the water from the River Lethe. Then dropped back in Charlie and Erin's laps so that they have no idea what happened. Idk if you wanna go the River Lethe route but that might make sense.
@Classpet OOOOOHHH I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!! It's the River Lethe I believe. Okay. Daily nerdfest is done. You may continue with your regularly scheduled programming.

Finn grinned at the chance to go out an possibly see some real action, though he quickly checked himself. He had to stay focused in case there was a true threat down there. "How should we proceed Master Skyvold?" the padawan asked, listening intently for her answer. He personally would have gone down there as stealthily as possible. As eager for battle as he was, he knew that storming into an unknown forest with a dark presence in it was a bad idea.
@Xiphonic It was really good. Like I'm not a huge Marvel fan but I was super impressed.
It's funny because I feel like a lot has happened in the IC but there's really only 26 posts and it's just a tad bit disorienting lol

Finn stopped his stunts at his master's request, dropping his speed and following her for the rest of the trip. He was slightly disappointed about the lack of enemy contact on this trip. He'd expected to have taken out at least four droids by now, although Finn figured this was a good lesson to learn. While it may sometimes seem like the life of a Jedi was filled with epic battles, they had their fair share of basic things as well. Scouting for enemies and the like.

When they came to rest at the cliff, Finn went over to the edge, overlooking the jungle. He concentrated, focusing on the Force energy that was moving throughout the planet, trying to sense an enemy. He tried to feel the energy that filled droids, and he felt as if something was directing him in one way. Mentally looking down over the jungle, he could sense something, something dark. He wasn't sure if it was an animal of some sort, or maybe some droids, but he figured he should warn Amber. "Master, I think there's something down at the bottom of the cliff," he called out to his master, trying to sound calm.
I'll get a post up sometime today hopefully. I'll be on and off while I'm working on editing a short film I'm doing so it might not be until tonight :)

Finn smiled as his best friend found her way to the seat next to him. As he looked over, his stomach gave a slight flutter at seeing Bellamy for the first time in a few months, something that he mentally scolded himself for. He wasn't supposed to have a crush on his best friend. It was stupid, especially when she didn't even feel the same way. As his internal battle raged on, he started to answer his friend's question, grinning. "You know, if that is what the red carpet is like, than I think I'll have my Oscar mailed to me," he said, chuckling.

"So tell me about your summer? Was it everything you hoped it would be and more? Did you find buried treasure or solve an age-old mystery? Knowing you I'm sure it was something exciting," Finn asked, grinning his goofy grin still. One of the things that he liked so much about Bellamy was her ability to turn anything into an adventure of some kind, which is why he had no doubt that her summer had been loads more fun than his had been.

Julia smiled as Cori sat down, a real smile, not the fake ones that she plastered on for a lot of people. "Oh I think I could do those paps out there a favor and explain everything. I'm sure any wrongdoings could easily be attributed to Jingle Bells and her boyfriend, Spielberg JR, over there," she said, gesturing to Finn and Bellamy, "or to the other camera wielding freak," Julia finished, glaring icily at Maria.

Finished with her rant, Julia turned and smiled at Cori. The two girls had been friends for a bit now, and while Julia could've asked how her summer went, it would've been pointless. She'd been in pretty much constant contact with the upperclassman since school had ended last term, and so she instead decided to ask about something else, and something slightly more important to Julia. "Where the hell did you get those heels? Because they are the only thing stopping me from having a meltdown about those trash bags laying siege to my school."

Finn hopped on his speeder and nodded as Amber instructed him to stick close to her. As they zipped through Felucia, scouting out the area, Finn made sure never to stray too far from his master, although he did occasionally perform some speeder tricks, just to impress the clones. As they continued exploring the planet, Finn couldn't help but notice the energy that it gave off. The Dark Side's tendrils were poking at his brain, begging to be let in, although he refused to let them in. He knew that the Dark Side was tempting, but it was a fate worse than death to be that evil. He'd have to talk to Amber about how she fought back the corruption when they returned to base.
