John followed the girl to the tree, a pile of branches under his arm. "Woah.," he said, awestruck by the huge tree. John looked around the jungle and decided that if he was gonna be shipwrecked, at least it was somewhere nice. At least there wasn't a smoke monster.

"You're right," John said to the guy. He figured the chances of another storm ruining their supplies were small but who knew what the conditions were at night. "I'll go help her collect firewood," John said, gesturing to newly found girl. He walked to the girl and started helping her collect branches.

Aftermath

John looked out from the front guard tower for any sign of people. It was clear. Good. Though he couldn't help feeling a little bit disappointed as he climbed town and left the town on his hunt. He would like someone to help. Someone to talk to. He wasn't used to solitude. He had always had his parents. And now he didn't. He shook any depressing thoughts off and headed into the forest, thoughts of warmth tonight enticing him to focus on the hunt.

John followed the group to a girl who looked his age. She was in hysterics but the guy that had been under the trees calmed her down pretty well with the prospect of being rescued. "We should probably start taking supply of all the things in the lifeboats," John said with as much maturity as he could muster. He didn't want to be babied by the others just because he was younger than most of them.
