Yeah I think that would be best
John climbed out of the limo and took a look at the new base. The beach house was amazing. At least the outside was. He walked inside and smiled when he saw the luxurious interior. Much better than that ratty old apartment he had shared with Roger back in the day. He walked down a hallway and saw that each door had one of the teams names on it. He found his room at the end of the hall and walked in. "Woah," he said as he looked at his room. His bed was straight across from him, flanked by two massive bookshelves. His workbench was on the right wall. All his WIP projects were still there. He went and layed down on the bed and sighed. "Maybe this wasn't the worst idea in the world."
John ate his food, quickly but neatly, giving off an air of civility. "Where ere you guys before?" Johnn asked, interested to hear their stories.
John looked over at Riley and smiled. "We could use all the help we can get," he said as he started cutting the cooked animals up to be served. "Foods ready!" he shouted to the others.
John looked out the window and then up to the roof. Krait was doing fine. At least he had found out she had good balance. "You can comedown now!" John shouted over the wind. He turned his head to see their destination and smiled. This was the life.
John didn't trust Sale. He was sneaky and he seemed hesitant to answer too many questions. "Well for now help Algarath search the town for supplies."
"Have you come here to stay?" John asked Sale
John smirked as he heard her weak attempt to sound like she wasn't terrified of what he might dare her to do. "I dare you to climb on top of the limo, and balance on one leg," John said, already pressing the button to roll down the window with his powers.
John saw Algarath and Sale and walked over. "Your one of the other people from the river. You know you've got a knack for sneaking up on people."
