Here he is! Finally! If his backstory is a bit too dark just let me know. I want his accident to be more of a redeeming point for him, something that makes him stronger rather than defining him as a sob story, but if it's still a bit heavy then I have a few back ups in mind :)

Yo this looks down my alley! I'm gonna start on a character :D
Woooooah I'm alive! Shocking I know! Anyways, there's that Avalon post that's been floating around my head for forever! Will and Brenna will be along sometime this week!

Location; Her Dorm
Interacting With; | None |

It had been seventeen days since Delirium. Seventeen days of numbness. Avalon remembered every single second of that night, every feeling. She remembered the weakness she felt, the weakness that girl had filled her with. She'd made her into a slave, intent on serving her. She felt violated. All of this ran through her head as she sat on her floor, wrapped in a blanket and staring blankly into her mirror.

Her face was bare, no makeup, her eyes puffy from crying. Her outfit was a mess, a sweater she'd stolen from Sam and sweatpants that Will had given her last year for Christmas. Her mouth was pulled tight, as she absentmindedly chewed on her bottom lip, a clear effect of her anxiety. Her nails were speckled with dark red polish that she couldn't seem to chip off, and her fingers were constantly tapping out a melody that only she seemed to know. Avalon Middleton was a shell of her former self, and no one could know.

She'd been avoiding Will and Sam, who seemed to grow closer every day. Without those two, she came to the realization that she really didn't have many friends. Harold was gone now, so she couldn't talk to him, and really there was no one else she was close with. She blamed herself. She needed to start being nicer to people, or else she was going to wind up alone. Maybe that's not such a bad thing she thought, staring at her self in the mirror.

She shook her head. Enough. She stood up and looked at the clock on her nightstand. It was far past time she got ready. She had a Fear Fest to attend, whether she liked it or not. She began to do her makeup, do her hair, and put on her costume. Her outfit consisted of a red hood, a dress that left very little to the imagination, and a pair of black pumps and white stockings. She had to admit one thing; she looked hot. Not that that cheered her up in any way. She took a look at herself in the mirror and nodded. You've got this Avalon. You've got this. With that encouraging thought, she walked out to find Sam or Will, or more likely both.

Location: The Peregrine Hangout Area
Interacting With: No one

Gatsby's day had not started off well. He'd been awoken by his mother, who proceeded to inform him that he was late, and then shrieked at him about not having packed. Gatsby, shirtless, groggy, and somewhat confused, stood up and ransacked his room to find his wand. Once he did finally locate the instrument, he flicked it and his clothes began folding themselves and floating into his suitcase. He grinned. Magic was wonderful.

While his suitcase packed itself, Gatsby rushed to get ready, combing his hair and slipping into a flannel and joggers. He slipped on his Converse and grabbed his now full suitcase, said goodbye to his mother, and then sprinted across the street to the bus stop, waiting to bring him home. Leaning against the wall, he found himself at a similar yet different bus stop, awaiting the arrival of the Peregrine. As he waited he pulled out a book, Fahrenheit 451, and began to read, picking up from where he'd left off in the middle.

So enraptured was he with the novel, that the Peregrine's arrival went unnoticed. He was finally pulled back to reality by the honking of the horn, and he then clambered into the car, taking his room number from Pluto and giving her and Mercury a friendly greeting. The old crones resumed their bickering just as he was climbing down the staircase. He first placed his suitcase in his room, and then made his way down to the common room area of the Peregrine, his nose buried in his book, only ever looking up to greet some of his friends. He finally found a spot to sit in the common room, surrounded by the noise of students, thrilled for a new year of school and adventure. Gatsby on the other hand, simply wanted to savor everything. It had just occurred to him that this would be one of his last few trips on the Peregrine. It filled him with a sense of longing and melancholy, that was only beat back by the words of Ray Bradbury and the sound of fourth years, arguing over a game of chess.
@Apokalipse Fuck still here, dying under a mountain of work. Working on an IC post now :)
Still kicking, just been rather busy. Maggie and Cassie are both open to interaction, should someone get those creative juices flowing before I do :)
Hey guys, I hate to say this but I'll be closing this one down. Maybe I'll reopen it in the future, but for now I just need to focus on real life and my other RPs. Thanks to everyone who expressed interest and I apologize that it couldn't work this time around.
I'm gonna finish my relations sheets tonight/tomorrow and then get a post up for both Gatsby and Juliet :)
@Core Looks good to me :) Put her in a hider and feel free to move her into the character section :D
