Leaftail sat on the floor of his den, eating his last scrap of food. He was extremely grateful for it as was his growling stomach that was at least somewhat sated. He had heard a rumor that the clan would be moving soon. Hopefully it was true. Hopefully it had more food than here.
John shook his head at all of Jen's questions. "Honestly, the simplest answer I can think of is zombie apocalypse," he said. "I don't even know how though. One second I was about to call some girl I met earlier, and the next there's some zombie trying to eat my face," John explained. He started laughing then. This was something out of some low budget horror movie. It wasn't something that happened to him.
"Nice to meet you Elizabeth," John said, taking his hand back. "What's your power?" he asked, smiling.
John saw a new girl walk in and he went over to her. "Hey are you new around here? I'm John," he says extending his hand.

Sorry I forgot the whole naming thing. I fixed it. And I did some research before I put his age and it said that from 6 moons training can be anywhere from 5 to 8 moons but if you want I'll change it.
John walked around the entry hall, mingling with other students. He was excited for his new year to start.
John got into his car and started it. He pulled out of the driveway and headed down the road, towards the part of town where it was mostly just warehouses.
John looked over at the girl who had answered him. It was the same girl who had just ran up to the mansion and almost tripped over a rock. "Well that's grand," John sighed, taking a seat next to his duffel bag. "I guess we could start introducing ourselves if we're gonna be out here for who knows how long. I'm John," he said, looking at the others.
